The first time visiting this restaurant I walked In and was Impressed by the renovations the new owner did. I was excited to try the food. Unfortunately a friend and I sat down and stared at each other for 15mins without being offered a menu. Right as we were about to leave a women that was not our sever offered us a menu, she was the only reason we stayed. The food was very good, I got the bolognese and loved every bite of It. This is an awesome place to have lunch! I have been there twice this month with a good friend (who has been going there for years even before it was "Brians"). Simply put, I have fallen in love with this restaurant. Both times I've been there, the food was unbelievably good and well priced. Portions are very generous, too. I ordered their Tomato and Basil soup both times I went there as well as their Chimichurri Steak Quesadeas. (can't spell it but sure enjoyed eating it). The second time I went there I ordered the Chimichurri Steak Quesadeas "to go" and then ordered their Lasagna for my in-house dining. Both times the soup was rich, thick, very flavorful and the salt level was not noticeable. The cheese in it was perfect in amount, texture, flavor. The seasonings blended well with the tomatoes and cheese, complimenting both very well and never overwhelming the main ingredients. This soup was one of the best tasting soups I've ever had when dining anywhere. The Chimichurri Steak Queseadeas are very thick and meaty... with cheese, onions, lots of thin, lean steak pieces, tomatoes, etc. This is NO appetizer portion, this is a main meal sized portion. It comes cut into four sections. Two sections of it are the equivalent of a full sized, thick sandwich. The flavor was awesome and I kept thinking about how great it was for days afterwards. The second time I went back I ordered the Homestyle Lasagna for my meal and then I re-ordered the Chimichurri Steak Quesadeas to take back home with me to enjoy the next day. This Lasagna was homemade and chock full of meat and cheeses with just enough sauce to blend everything together but not swim in it. The sauce was a rich, thick, flavorful marinara. This lasagna was simply incredible. The portion served was large and very thick, too. My friend could only eat half of hers. I ate my whole thing since I'd skipped breakfast and had eaten a light supper the evening before. Again, the salt level in this wonderful lasagna was not noticeable and I am on a low salt diet and notice salt easily in foods. The waitresses are experienced, very knowledgeable about the food choices and the service has been wonderful both times I've been there. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and at least two of the waitresses worked at this location when it was "Brians". The interior of this place provides a warm, relaxed type of dining atmosphere, which appeals to me. I like the dark wood walls and the coziness of this place. It's clean, neat and comfortable, too. Just so you know, I live 1 1/2 hours drive from this restaurant and this place is well worth that drive to me. Oh....after posting this review, I read the other reviews. Just wanted to add that both times I've been there a "drinks" menu was on the table beside the sugar/sweetener packets. The interior of this restaurant looked and had a fresh air smell, not a chemical/cleaner one. I would have noticed any mildew odor if there had been any. There was none at all. Therefore, whatever kinks may have needed to be worked out upon the opening of this restaurant appears to have been accomplished. read more

Awful service! I was an old Brian's patron. When I was seated I felt like it hadn't changed a bit. We ordered appetizers and meals. The salads came out without dressings. The Waitress couldn't answer questions without help. The appetizers came out with the Meals. When the waitress came to check on us and asked us how everything was I let her know that I never received my meal, just my appetizer (but everyone else did) the scramble started. Another waitress came and cleared off everybody's plates before I ever saw my meal. They tried to give it to me to go. I let them know I was all set. They took it off the bill with simple apologies The blame was put on the waitress because she was "new"I end up across the street at Pirates Cove for a hotdog while everybody else had ice cream. needless to say I will not be returning, very disappointed. I'd hate to see what it was like when it's busy. read more

Grille 122 was awful. They haven't changed the interior at all from when it was Brian's. The wait staff were very young, un-trained, and our waitress was not pleasant. What really bothered me about this experience was that the Grille 122 staff was made aware of a food allergy and it wasnt respected. There is gluten food on the menu, and when my sister ordered her gluten free sides they were clearly not gluten free. I told our waitress this and she became angry with us not the staff. Other than her food making her very ill, my mother and I's food tasted rotten. We will not be returning to Grille 122 ever again. I hope no one else gets sick eating here. read more

Just had an amazing meal the strip steak was delicious. Best buffalo wings and that's saying something

Not very good service at the bar was friendly and attentive eggplant rolatini was served with no marinara but pesto?! Filling was like dry cooked cottage cheese rather than creamy ricotta dish and chips are listed on menu as white fish they say it's haddock but why would they list it as shite fish? Portion was very small and fries were frozen crappy kind that good restaurants no longer use most serve hand cut fries now sea scallops were good not great only 8 fir 20 bucks. Uncle Ronnie's gives you 12? And they are cooked perfectly and they also give you hot bread and soup or salad Again the scallops were served with those awful frozen fries very disappointing as we wanted it to be good because there are just too few dining spots in the area after looking over the menu and seeing odd menu items like shepherds pie with Italian seasoning it's obvious that this place has no clue By the way a burger is 12 bucks We won't be going back read more

great food; similar if not the same atmosphere as the old Brian's. Bartender was friendly and attentive (Weston I believe?) Will be back!
