In general we try to support small businesses, and Flying Fur has been through so much in the last few years, with the pandemic and other roadblocks (I.e. a lightning fire) that would've likely made many other business owners call it quits. Aimee has persevered and asked for patience from her patrons through several moves and other personal challenges but always ALWAYS remembers to respond to appointment requests and works us in within a week or two when we need a grooming. I'm proud to support her business as she has remained professional and dedicated through it all as a one-woman show. All that said, she also does a really great job on our pup! Sasha always looks so fresh and adorable after her grooming and smells so nice. The cute seasonally themed bandanas are also a nice touch! We love Flying Fur and will continue to be customers regardless of where Aimee moves her shop :)

Kept me hanging for those 3 days never letting know when I could come in saying they were to busy to get me in. This is why one needs appointments so one knows when to come in. Come to find out it was the wrong Wheaton terrier! They had sent my dog home with some one else who they had to call and come back with my dog! If I had not caught that right away, I would have had to wrong dog over night and my dog with strangers overnight bc they were closing. I called to talk with the owner (BETH) the next day, she apologized and said he could get a free spa treatment next time. I was under the impression that meant a free grooming. Dropped him off today expecting them to make right the huge mistake last time. WRONG......I was stilled charged $86 today and come to find out "spa package" is $10. When I got home I called to discuss my dissatisfaction. Beth cut me off mid sentence and I was told my dog was not harmed, they had no AC in their shop today and it was 90 degrees there and I should feel free to take my business else. My response, "oh you bet your ass I will" and then she hung up on me! My call was answered right away and I was able to make an appointment with Steve easily. At the appointment, Steve was very helpful in explaining the process. Pippa stayed at Spotlight almost all day, and I could tell when I picked her up that she had a blast. She also looked and felt AMAZING. She has never felt softer. I already scheduled my next appointment with Steve! Highly recommend checking them out.

I was told on my last visit 9/8 my groomer was fully booked, when I asked for another groomer I was told they were booked as well . The reception advised me she would check with each groomer and see if they could squeeze me in. I was never given a reason why both groomers were booked solid seven weeks from 9/8. After waiting more than 24 hours without a call back I sent a text message. I received a call 9/10 stating they had no record of a text or email from me requesting an appt. Needless to say that call was confusing, so I called the reception who was rude, sarcastic, and continuously talked over me. she finally advisedthe reason the two groomers were booked was due to one of the groomers being out on maternity leave. If I was told that up front I would have understood. Instead the receptionist continue to speak to me as rudely as possible. I ended the call and said I do not know what to say. Due to the receptionist's behavior I will not ever go back to Heritage grooming. This all could have been avoided if the receptionist had just said we are fully booked because we have a groomer out on leave. Instead she was nasty, rude, and tried making excuses for her behavior.
