I really like this place it reminds me of home with the Carne Asada in the Al Pastor. The food was great and had awesome flavors. The workers were super nice and all had a smile on their faces. When asking about some stuff on the menu they knew their stuff. The inside was like a normal place to get some food. Nothing crazy but nice and clean. Came on a not so busy Sunday. The aguas Frescas start at $7 + $2 if you want it dressed. We tried the pineapple and Jamaica (hibiscus) , dressed. They were pretty good. We also had the Birria and Asada (a la carte) cheesy tacos and the Birria ramen combo. Definitely a great combo. We also tried the chicken flautas, which needed more seasoning on the chicken for my opinion but the rice was decent and the charred beans were good. My kid had the cheese quesadilla but he wishes he would've got the regular quesadillas. Overall pretty good experience. The staff is friendly. I got the Birria taco and the Al Pastor taco! Each taco was $3.50, which includes onions and cilantro. If you want to add queso, it is extra! If you pay with cash, there is no tax. I heard of this place because a friend recommended it. The birria was very tender and flavorful. Definitely get the consomme (birria soup) with it ($2.50) so you can dip the taco in it! I actually liked the al pastor taco a bit more. They added small chunks of pineapple. There are three different types of sauces in the refrigerator next to the soda machine. They also have many different Agua fresco flavors and Horchata! The inside of the store is really clean and there are lots of tables for large groups. The service was fast and friendly. Saw this place on tik tok and made the drive out there only to be disappointed ! Tacos tortillas are fried so when I got my order to go and finally ate it, it was so crunchy and hard like jack in the box tacos but worse. Flavor is there, salsas were on point. I only give the horchata a 10/10 but the burrito came with nothing I mean you would expect like chips with it atleast lol but everything "extra" is another fee in itself. Which is disappointing. Charro beans were alright.. but the way I opened my 3 taco plate to be DISAPPOINTED with the portion of rice and a small ass side of charro beans like wtf ?!?!! I had been wanting to try this place solely because of their 'California Dreaming' sign and being from California I wanted to see how the tacos compared. I ordered, one birria, three chicken, three asada, and 5 al pastor all with a side of beans. I was disappointed when I got home to find that there was no salsa inside my bag. Who doesn't add/ gives salsa for tacos?? I got 11 slices of lemon but no salsa! Every taco place I've gone to gives salsa, limes and any vegetable on the side. I ordered everything on the side, only to find it next to my tacos and with travel it had all moved into the tacos! The first I noticed was that the tacos had double tortilla, I would've enjoyed that if the tortillas weren't half soggy and half crunchy in certain pieces. I ended up taking off all the double tortilla because the taco just kept falling apart. I really enjoyed the birria and al pastor meat, really good flavor! The asada and chicken had no flavor and meat was so bland chewy! Overall, the place is decorated cool and has some nice vibes! The food might be better if eaten in the restaurant and with salsa. I'd maybe go back and try the aguas frescas and nachos but im not so sure about the tacos. read more

These tacos, right here, are grrrrreat. The location is pretty easy, just be weary that it's next to a sports bar so the parking may be a little tight. Other than that, it's not too bad. Now after going inside, it's really clean and smells clean, no foul odors and any broken fixtures. The staff at the front are nice and very helping with the menu. A little tip, heb on potranco sometimes gives coupons for the place on their receipts, so that's a huge plus. The food is relatively cheap, which is pretty good for the quality of food. Now I really like this place for the amount of salsas you can try with your tacos. The rice and beans weren't too bad, they were good enough to have alongside the great tacos. I usually try to get one of each, a pastor/birria/asada. Those three are where it's at! Get the tacos loaded with cheese and guacamole, you Will NOT be disappointed. read more

I've been meaning to stop by for breakfast, but my friend invited me for dinner. I looked at their menu since I don't really needs and I couldn't see anything that I could eat, but then I noticed that they could make most of their items without meat. So I order the torta with everything on it, but no meat. If you look at their online menu, it comes with beans. When I got my torta, it looked delicious. Even my friends were jealous. Too bad when I looked at the contents, I noted that it only had cheese and the guac I paid extra for. It didn't even have the sour cream she said that it came with. It is a lot of bread for just cheese and guacamole. I ended up having to go order a side of beans to put in my torta. Aside from that mishap, everyone else liked their food. I got the Horchata drink. You can get it in two sizes. I got the smaller size. It was good and I love the toppings. You can get the drink without the toppings. They also let you taste if you want to try any other aguas Fresca's before buying. They have salsa in the refrigerator next to the soda fountain. They have different types with different spice levels. The restaurant has inside and outside seating. Inside they do have music playing. It can be loud for some, I thought it was OK. You could still hold a conversation. They do have a few tables outside. You are sitting next to stouts. we did have to deal with the cigar smoke from stouts. Overall, I think I will return and be more specific on whichever meal I would choose. I still want to try the breakfast. Parking is on site, but shared with the other businesses. read more

We came here after BMT graduation ceremony and had some amazing food. Grandpa Robert claimed it was the best tacos he's ever had! The strawberry agua fresca was awesome!! (Ask for the upgraded version of the agua frescas). The chicken flautas were yum, especially with the green creamy sauce which you can conveniently grab out of a fridge stocked with what seemed to be different house made hot sauces. Finally a place where they have tacos similar to socal. I found this hidden gem on Instagram yesterday and decided to pay a visit. The young lady B helped me and she was awesome. Great smile and great attitude. B was very helpful and enjoyed her job. The tacos were delicious and looked exactly like the kind you get in socal. They also have agua frescas. This was our first time at Guerito's and the customer service was fantastic! We came a little late about an hour before closing time. We ordered food & drinks with the add ons. Since it was closing time we didn't get the full experience with the add on to the drinks but the ladies there were super nice and accommodating. Tried their breakfast it was okay, I prefer their cucumber water but can sometimes be sweet. The horchata is too sweet for my liking. But what I always order is the mulitas de birria. Sooooo good and juicy, and cheesy! Can't go wrong with those and I think for the price they are worth it. If you add guacamole (it's extra) it balances It out more. The sit down area is indoor and also some outdoor it's nice areas but can get little noisy for my preference. Food can sometimes take a bit. read more
