In short: garment ruined, I won't be back. I was a first time customer. I dropped off a two piece suit, two white shirts, two blouses and four sweaters for a total of $53. I'm not pleased with the result: one of the white shirts had a wine stain which is still there, and the sweater now has a knot in it, as if it got burned or as if a hole had been patched up (picture attached). The suit was pressed haphazardly. They did not mention anything when I picked up the garments. 2 stars because the store owners are nice folks, but the dry cleaning deserves 0. I won't be coming back, and neither should you. read more

The quality of the laundry service here is going downhill quickly. My shirts are coming back missing buttons and with more wrinkles than when i dropped them off. I love this place! Not only do they always do a great job with dry cleaning, but their alterations work is excellent. One block from my apartment, this is now my dry cleaner hot spot. They are a really nice family running the joint and I'm guessing it looks the same in there now as it did in the '70s. I brought in a suit and my favorite jacket to be dry cleaned and they fixed them up nice in just two days! And they have this sweet old school cash register, which means they only take cash. Pros: clean, fast, nice couple who runs the place, cheap Cons: inconvenient parking, they don't take credit cards I would normally give this place 4 stars because of the cc and parking issues, but when I went in the other day, the gentleman in front of me didn't have enough cash to cover his dry cleaning tab (he was $2 short), and the women let it go - he also promised to come back later in the day to pay them back. Years ago, this might have been unremarkable for neighborhood places, but I've heard horror stories of people who couldn't get their credit card run because they were 2 cents short the minimum purchase price, etc. I love the customer service here... changing my review from 4 to 5 stars. read more

This is my second time here... I sent off a shirt to be just freshened up - it came back with permanent black/brown stains (which a second clean couldn't get them out). My shirt is totally ruined. I also had two pairs of pants that got cleaned - those were okay, but a huge silverfish ran out of them when I got them home. read more

Sorry, but I had to actually join Yelp in order to write this review. This laundry is 1/2 block away from my house and I have been on-line for an hour trying to find a replacement. Sure, they're nice people, they remember my name and laugh at the fact that I bring in 20 shirts at once and they all have stains...ha, ha, ha.., isn't it funny that I'm such a lazy slob!? But really, much as I love "Quaint" family owned small businesses, that doesn't make up for unbelievably short hours (8:30-6:00 Tue-Sat, unless they're on vacation, really!), prices (I pay extra for my Women's shirts because apparently they don't fit on the pressing machines!), payment in cash only, and most importantly the fact that the dry cleaning SUCKS. I have had multiple items come back with stains SET in, not removed, therefore looking dirtier then when I brought them in AND smelling like chemicals so that I am afraid to touch them. Maybe it's some kind of shellac they're putting on to prevent future stains, but it's gross. OK, at least they're pressed so I can wear my dirty stained, shellacked clothes and look like I've been ironed. Sorry, but in the last town I lived in, I went to a great family-run dry cleaners, where three generations worked (I literally knew the daughter from grammar school through high school). AND they knew my name, my starch preferences, got the stain tape out as soon as they saw me coming, were open 7am-7pm 6 days/week, took credit cards, had 2 short-term parking spots in front, and actually installed a computer system to better track customers. I loved them so much that last time I was visiting, I brought some clothes to them to be cleaned. I was still in the computer, and they removed the stains that Guerrero didn't. So sorry Guerrero, step it up or I need to find an alternative so I don't have to schedule my Saturdays for a special trip to the ATM in order to pick up my lightly chemical dusted clothes... read more

5 stars for quality and price 3 stars for hours of operation (i feel they are always closed) i got a truckload of stuff done, all dry cleaned, with some alterations, and it was half the amount I was expecting to pay! Picked up my laundry this morning, place was fast clean and effecient, loved the people who worked there. All my favorite shirts are looking good, in retro spec it might have been better risk management to not take ALL my favorite shirts to try out a place. Worked out though, so far so good! read more

Been taking my dry cleaning here since I moved to Albion in 01. Now I live in Potrero Hill but I still make the trek. Collars are always perfect and the family is so friendly. Orange is my favorite color and I think I have that in common with the proprietor who is ALWAYS wearing an orange shirt. Love it! read more

I have been going here since 2003 and have never encountered a single negative issue. The couple that runs the place are wonderful, always positive and polite and totally on top of their game. It's pretty striking that in over a decade, they've never lost a single article of clothing or even damaged one. Been going here for years despite having my own washer & dryer. I love getting my clothes neatly folded and wrapped -- in the 6 years that I have lived in the city, I have yet to do any ironing because of this place. This place is terrible, my clothes weren't clean when I got them back and they were super wrinkly. I tried it again and it was worst than the first: missing buttons, spots on shirts, ripped pants hem, awful ironing job, poor customer service. I went to talk to them about the pants they ruined and they were really rude. They could clearly not care less. Do not take your clothes there expecting them to look better when you pick them up. Certainly do not take your nice clothes/delicates there. These people do bad work and have bad attitudes. read more

Thus far, I'm happy with them. I bring suits and business casual ("slacks" and sweaters) here for dry cleaning. Nothing has been ruined and the dry cleaning is definitely heavy on the chemicals but that's fine with me because its better than how they smell going in. The folks who run it are friendly. We live in the neighborhood and have gone to this laundry every week for years. They have always been very friendly and on time. They also have dry cleaning services which takes a couple of days to get back. If it is a rush and it's during the week, it can be done in a day.
