For entree I got the tuna salad and the tuna for me was not fresh. The salad was delish and the miso paste was excellent. My waitresses were 10/10! They were attentive to me and my friends. We had dinner with another couple last night. The service was top notch. Ample parking. Great atmosphere. On a Sunday night, they were out of items like the trout, artichokes. We went for lunch on a Sunday. The service and food were excellent. I had the salmon and grapefruit salad, which was an innovative combination I hadn't had before, and enjoyed. Okay the service was nice and the ambience was giving cute date spot, I really like how I can see into the kitchen and the bathrooms were nice. They also had heaters in the outside eating area which was nice. Onto the more important stuff: the food, okay so the clam chowder was good but my favorite were the biscuits. The biscuits were actually incredible and they gave us some honey that paired well. Honestly my fish plate looked so good I was excited by the presentation but it needed so much salt, it was absolutely unseasoned which caught me by surprise because by the looks I was expecting a lot. We were excited to come back for another amazing experience. We were a bit disappointed, this time. We were genuinely looking forward to returning for another memorable experience, as our previous visit had set the bar high. Burger -- Visually impressive and clearly made from high-quality ingredients. However, the flavor profile felt unbalanced to our taste -- the proportions and seasoning didn't quite harmonize, leaving the overall impression less satisfying than expected. Trout Dip -- Still excellent. One of the few dishes that retains its distinct appeal and craftsmanship. Hot Fudge Sundae -- While still enjoyable, it seems to have changed since our last visit. The ice cream base now feels overly heavy and less flavorful, with an excess of creaminess that overwhelms the fudge. The hot fudge sauce remains good, but the magic of the earlier version is somewhat lost. Atmosphere -- The restaurant's serene ambiance was disrupted during our visit (10/26/2025) when a large, demanding party of 9 was seated on the patio. The staff handled the situation with professionalism -- particularly the manager who calmly enforced seating limits -- but it may have been wiser not to accommodate a group that clearly disturbed the otherwise refined tone of the afternoon. Outstanding dining experience on every level. The food, the staff, the ambiance are all first class. We were seated on the patio and immediately offered a beverage. Cameron (?), our waiter was really friendly nice. His service was efficient and non intrusive. First time there. We tried several times before but always a long wait. By golly, We made it this time for Lunch! Though it's crowded on a Tuesday afternoon they have a patio table available for us. Very nice and heaters were helpful to be comfortable. We ordered clam chowder soup, oh wow! Really good! Lots of clams, less potatoes, sprinkled with bacon and 3 crunchy easy to chew croutons! We started with appetizers and a few drinks and totally enjoyed the positive vibe atmosphere. Randi checked in on us several times and was quite attentive, personable and professional. We then ordered our entrees. My wife had the cheeseburger and quinoa salad and I had the dover sole with coleslaw and sliced tomatoes. Both dishes were awesome. Had a phenomenal lunch experience here. They have a good selection for lunch, including a delicious chuck cut cheeseburger and ahi tuna burger. Diego was our server and did a wonderful job providing timely and friendly service.
