We're already familiar with this restaurant because it's the sister restaurant to our favorite, Orient Garden in New Hyde Park. My husband ordered the Country Chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion was very generous--I forgot to take a photo until he was halfway through his meal, and he still had leftovers to bring home. I ordered the 2 1/2-pound Vancouver crab over rice noodles. It was absolutely delicious. The crab was perfectly seasoned with garlic and scallions, and the rice noodles soaked up all of the wonderful flavors. I was completely satisfied with my meal, and the portion was equally generous. What really made the experience special was the hospitality. Owner Tom leads an excellent team, and every staff member we encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. Our servers, Hai Wen and Summer, checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back!

Not a very big place but sufficient number of tables. For dim sum, they do have carts that go around and you can order or order via the menu and they will bring it to you. We ordered our staple dishes: shumai, fried crispy dumpling with pork, fried dough wrapped noodles, shrimp noodles, beef noodles, roast pork buns- all to share. Tea to wash it down with. Prices on par with those in Chinatown, Flushing etc. Overall food was was ok and service was good. Plenty of options on the menu if dining for dim sum, lunch or dinner. Shared parking lot with other stores in the area.

The wonton soup was decent......wontons were very good but the broth however was a bit bland. Roast pork fried rice was pretty good.....a little dry and skimpy on the pork but the flavor was more than adequate. Hot and sour soup was really tasty with a good bit of spice. Scallion bubble pancake was very light and tasty. The Emperor cabbage appetizer was probably my favorite meal item.....crispy cabbage tossed in a peanuty garlic sauce with honey. It was served cold (which usually I'm not a big fan of, but this was an exception) and had a great flavor. Pork belly appetizer tasted very good but it wasn't crispy (which would have made it so much better) and the buns they were served with didn't taste completely fresh. Dan Dan noodles with ground beef was excellent.... they're served spicy and you can simply request the level of heat you prefer to fit your taste buds. Soup dumplings were of decent size and quite juicy...... unfortunately they lacked some flavor. Mongolian beef dish was excellent as was the kung pao chicken. Overall it was a pretty good meal but there was some room for improvement. The staff was very nice and it did have quite a cool "old school American Chinese restaurant" vibe from yesteryear.

The were only 2 other people in the restaurant. The hostess brought us to a booth. Very comfortable. Waiter appeared a few minutes later and presented us with a tablet to order our meals. It was easy and it was great to see what the dishes looked like. We ordered mango lava milk and the holden chrysanthemum tea pot. Lava milk was nice and not too sweet and the chrysanthemum tea was a good choice to compliment the meal. We ordered the steamed pork soup dumplings. Cooked to perfection. We also ordered the half Peking duck and spicy black fish. The Peking duck was served with pancakes to wrap the duck as well as cucumber, pineapple and hoisin sauce. Duck tasted delicious not greasy at all. It was my favorite part of the meal. Spicy black fish was good as well and not too spicy. This is a high end Chinese fusion restaurant. Prices are high but you are paying for the presentation and experience. Footnote: This restaurant is listed as a Resy restaurant. AmEx Platinum Card will give you a $100 credit every 3 months that you dined at Resy restaurants. For some reason they way the waiter rang up the bill on the tablet it came up as take out ?!? Crazy! AmEx still gave us the credit after we called it un.

It was about 10 degrees outside we had to wear our jackets inside for dinner. Besides that downfall, the food here is so so so good. This is my second time coming back and I absolutely love everything, from the wontons to the fried rice and the kung pao chicken. I always look foward to eating my leftovers from this place!! Hopefully they fix the heat issue so I can return this winter.
