I'll admit the food didn't exactly wow me. It rarely does at the big chains, but the service, location, and ambience here were elite. Being in Anaheim and so close to the convention center and the mall makes this a really convenient spot, especially if you're in town for a conference. You already know what kind of food you're getting at P.F. Chang's, so there's not much mystery there. This location was definitely on the greasy side, though. I couldn't finish my meal and took the rest home. By day two, the grease had actually leaked through the boxes and all over the mini fridge. Like... I know I ordered Chinese food, but I'm not sure the mini fridge needed to participate. Can't imagine that much oil is doing my heart any favors either. That said, the staff were SO kind. We were still riding the post-conference high and talking quite a bit, and they were incredibly patient with us. Nobody rushed us along or made us feel like we needed to leave, which I really appreciated. I also loved the mood lighting. Anaheim can be BRIGHT, especially during the day, so walking into a restaurant with softer lighting was honestly relaxing. It gave the whole place a calmer, more intimate feel and was a nice contrast to the craziness outside. So while the food itself wasn't anything I'll be dreaming about, this location gets major points for the atmosphere, convenience, and genuinely lovely service. Treated my older brother to happy hour here, and we had such a great experience! The drinks were on point, and the happy hour food did not disappoint. We went with the dry ribs, pork wontons, and Asian lettuce wraps--OMG, everything was so good! I'm already looking forward to going back. The restaurant was busy, but luckily there was no wait in the bar area. I also really like that they have high-top tables in the bar section, so you don't necessarily have to sit directly at the bar. Yet another spot I've been going to since the dawn of time, but have never reviewed. In this case, it's a good thing because... I've been seeing some serious improvements lately! I've always enjoyed the food at P.F. Chang's but, the last few years, the vibe has been "off". Well, not anymore! Food is still great. Yes, it's Americanized, but I don't remember anyone ever telling me differently. It's obvious everything is freshly prepared and, bottom-line, it's tasty. This particular visit, I tried the Black Pepper Chicken. First time for this dish, but it won't be the last! As an appetizer, I chose the BBQ Pork Spare Ribs. Yum! Service is where I've see the greatest improvement. It's clear this location is managed well. The team there acknowledged me when I entered the restaurant and when I left; the server was likely the most-attentive one I've ever had at this brand. The atmosphere is spectacular, as always. First time dining at this location. I've always thought P.F. Chang's is an upscale Panda Express. I've never really thought twice about it after eating there years ago in a different city. But my BF wanted to try today, so I thought why not. I got the BBQ Spare Ribs appetizer (6 ribs). I was pleasantly surprised - they were bold and smoky in flavor, and even though they were a bit on the sweet side, they were overall delicious. 4/5 stars. BF had the Singapore Street Noodles with shrimp and chicken. The noodles were good but I wasn't too crazy about the shrimp and chicken. The shrimp was ok but the chicken was dry. 3/5. Hot and Sour Soup was OK. The sourness was definitely there. I've never had chicken in these soups before so that was a little weird. 3/5. For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Soufflé with vanilla ice cream. The cake was warm, moist, and chocolatey, and the vanilla ice cream balanced it out nicely. 5/5. First time at PF Chang's, and we picked this location because it's dog-friendly and open late -- we sat on the patio with our dog. Got there around 8-8:30pm, seated quickly, right against the wall near a cement planter box. Early on we noticed a few crickets near the planter -- figured it was just outdoor patio life near landscaping, no big deal. Ordered food and drinks as normal. Then a large bug crawled across the planter box, which was unsettling on its own. By the time we finished our entrees, things had escalated -- multiple large cockroaches ("water bugs") were making their way onto the patio. We asked for boxes, but since dessert was part of our 3-course meal, we ended up leaving all our leftovers and dessert on the table and left. We flagged it to our server, and a manager (never introduced himself, no name or title given) came out and basically confirmed the whole complex has a cockroach infestation that comes out at night -- and that if we looked, we'd see hundreds. We went into PF Changs after a long drive , tired and hungry. Andrew was our server and was so great. He gave us attention and was funny and helpful. The food was good and reasonable priced. My sister and I decided to get out on Christmas Eve to meet for cocktails and found that not only were they open, but they also had deals. I think this is one of my favorite places for Happy hour or just a regular night out. It has great prices, great food and perfect environment. I ordered a lemon drop and the starter and bowl deal. When dining inside I'm usually really happy with everything but I don't think it's the best option for take out. The chicken entrees seems to get soggy pretty quickly in those to-go containers. Also, after ordering lunch and dinner in the same week, I'd say the size of the lunch portion and dinner portion seem almost identical with about a $10 price difference. I went to PF Chang's for a celebration with a group of people. This location is at the Garden Walk. It has been YEARS since I've been back to a PF Chang's, and not much has changed. The food was okay, not great. It is basically Americanized Chinese food, and I think Panda Express is much better in terms of taste. We ordered a variety of entrees, including: chicken fried rice, vegetable lo mein, CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS, Mongolian beef, Mandarin chicken salad, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, CRISPY HONEY CHICKEN, and firecracker shrimp. The fried rice and lo mein were bland, and most of the entrees were on the soggy side. I would definitely come back for the CRISPY HONEY CHICKEN and would like to try the crispy honey shrimp next time. The chicken lettuce wraps are also very good and what PF Chang's is known for. We also ordered dessert of course! We had the KEY LIME PIE $6.29- 4.5 stars, cheesecake- average, BANANA SPRING ROLLS WITH ICE CREAM- 4.5 stars, BUTTER CAKE with ice cream- 4 stars, NY Cheesecake- 3 stars, and CHOCOLATE CAKE- 4.5 stars. Went to pickup food around 6:15pm today, went straight to their takeout counter. One person was there, saw me, then walked away without saying anything to me. 2-3 more staff walked past me without acknowledging me, so I went to the check-in counter to ask about my takeout order, and she told me to wait at the takeout counter. Big tip for those who want to order online at this location: make sure to reconfirm with a phone call way ahead of pick-up time to avoid unnecessary stress. That is, if you really want to order at this location. I know I wouldn't. I was hosting dinner at home on a Tuesday night so I ordered online the night before, with pick up time at 5:30 PM the following day. I normally do not call before going to the restaurant for pick-ups, but for some reason, I decided to call. A nice, polite lady named Mindy took my call but said there's no such order. I, of course, panicked, as it was a few hours away from dinner time and I was at work. I told her to double-check, gave her the order number and still no results. When I stressfully (but I remember still being polite ) asked for a manager, a somewhat arrogant lady named Corryn took over the call. After about 2 minutes, she found the reservation, and without any apologies at all told me the order had been there all along and next time, " don't talk to the hostess." That's it! I was aghast. I was, at that point, just relieved that the order was there and refused to engage. It isn't my fault that the hostess is the one who answers the call, and knows nothing about online orders. The hostess should automatically transfer these type of calls to whoever is in charge and not say " there's no such order," as this entails anxiety to customers. Any EFFICIENT, TRAINED manager knows this. A WELL-MANNERED, customer-oriented restaurateur would know how to handle these type a situations. Corryn handled me differently and I would tell anyone who listens to stay away from this location for online orders. Also, this location looks like an easy pick-up since the restaurant itself is by Katella Avenue, but NO.. you have to park at the parking structure, and walk about 100 steps before you get to pick up your order. It's a passable drawback if I had been handled respectfully by the manager of this place, but it just was a bad experience overall. Ambiance of the place is always good..I've always loved PF Chang's and my co-workers and I dined at this location a number of times. Food's always good. But service, with this type of manager? But only place in Anaheim where I could reserve for 9 to celebrate my nephew's anniversary and was hoping food and service have improved , after a decade+. When I reserved I put celebrating anniversary and when we checked in it says it on the ticket also. But before I paid I mentioned it to the server...he said because we're not members we don't get anything for the celebration. WTF? We have always enjoyed eating at PF Chang's, but our most recent visit to the Anaheim location was disappointing. The dine-in meal itself was good, although the portion sizes seemed smaller than they used to be. What really surprised us was our usual order of two side Lo Meins to go. We've ordered these many times over the years, but this time the portions were dramatically reduced while the price increased. The side Lo Mein used to cost about $3. It now costs $4, yet the serving was only about 4 ounces--filling only about one-quarter of the to-go container. When we asked our server about it, she explained that the company had reduced the standard portion size to 4 ounces. Paying more money for a fraction of the food is disappointing and represents poor value for the price. We understand that costs increase, but reducing the portion this dramatically while raising the price leaves loyal customers feeling shortchanged. We hope PF Chang's reconsiders this decision, because it's changes like these that make longtime customers think twice about coming back. read more

I ordered the Chang's Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps and the Buddha's Feast - Stir-Fried. Both were good. The Chang's Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps were better, in my opinion. The Buddha's Feast was a bit bland. It was fresh, don't get me wrong. But, a little bland tasting and boring. Service was good. I asked for utensils and napkins too. Got those. We used to love going to P.F. Chang's cause the food was always hot and fresh. Tonight was the worst experience I have ever had. The shrimp fried rice was cold and the Kung pow chicken was deep fried and dried out. We told the bartender Sam, he made another attempt at the Kung pow chicken, which was not fried and the sauce had no flavor at all. although the second dish was hot, it was disgusting also.
