Finding a mechanic that is knowledgeable, trust worthy and doesn't force repairs down your throat is tough to find. Han's had a lot of great reviews and they are open on Sunday. 2 very cool things, especially for us who work a M-F job. I have a Corvette so I'm particular on who touches the car. But Mr. Kim knew what he was doing and changed my oil and replaced a tensioner in no time. He did try to get me to replace all of the idlers and tensioners as preventive maintenance but it's okay, I get it. You just have to slow down and make sure you change what's not working at THAT moment, otherwise you'll be replacing your engine haha Erik helped me out finding prices for my car and suggestions for my next visit. He was very helpful and nice. Pricing was very fair as well. $100 for a synthetic oil change and $100 to replace the pulley. He also adjusted my hood because it didn't close correctly. I will never take a vehicle here to get repaired. The mechanic was the rudest I've ever encountered. I called and got a reasonable estimate for my water pump and asked if I could bring it in. The person over the phone who gave me the estimate (of my make/model and year of my vehicle) told me that yes, I could bring it in and leave it over night for them to work on in the am and that it would be done by noon-ish. I informed him that I would have to fill it with fluid just to make it there and he said they close at 6 and to bring it in. I filled it full of water to make the trek there and when I got there at 5:35 the mechanic was closing up and was emphatically making gestures for me to leave. I told him that I had called and was told to bring it in and he said no, he won't let me leave it and they don't let cars like mine stay over night. What?! I informed him that it is overheating and that I was told to bring it in and everything that I've mentioned and he did kissed me rudely and told me no and walked off. I had to drive my overheating car back in rush hour because of this. His rudeness was uncalled for and I can say that I would never take anything to get repaired to such a terrible person. I can't use the words that really want to to describe what I fully think of him in thus post. Stay away from them!!! If I could leave negative stars here I would. He deserves it read more

I came in here for a simple oil change and got so much more in return.. the older gentlemen gave me information about my car that I never knew and told me I don't need to pay the extra $$$ for synthetic oil and I was just wasting money at other places! Visited here for the first time a few days ago for oil change. I went in the early morning but they were already busy with customers. Still, the workers were really welcoming and oil change didn't take long, considering there were many cars waiting already. I am going to stop by here again to fix my brake pad soon. I just spent $1000 at Hans. And it was worth every penny. I had an oil leak that unfortunately was way more involved than what I originally thought. The guys at Hans thoroughly explained the problem and what they needed to do to fix it. I was kept updated on the status of my car and when I went to pick it up, they had saved all the parts they replaced to show me. Eric (who I spoke with most often) had also taken pictures of the car while it was being worked on for me to see. They definitely went above and beyond. Here's what I'll say. I bought a new battery from this place a year ago. Did I get a warranty or save the receipt? Of course not, as I am a slovenly man. But anyway, a few days ago the battery died completely out of nowhere. Unsalvageable. Won't jump start. Just toast. I called Han's, asking if they keep internal records of sales/active warranties. Again, can't stress enough that the lack of receipt is my own mistake. But! When I called Han's, whoever answered the phone just kept telling me to bring the car in so he could look at it. Which I can't do, since the battery is dead. And I'm not gonna spend money on a tow truck to get to a mechanic who gave me a dud battery. After trying to explain this to the man on the phone, he said the conversation was, and this is an exact quote, "too many thinking." This is really the reason for my review. I'll give Han's the credit of assuming they sold me a dud battery on accident. We all make mistakes. But if a yes or no question is "too many thinking," you need to retire, not only from your job but also probably from leaving your home. "Too many thinking." Yeah, I bet it is too many thinking for you, my guy. Anyway, I got a new battery from someone else and I wouldn't come here again if you paid me. God bless! read more

It's my first review and Eric and the owner were so amazing that I HAD to take the time and say thank you for their kindness and intelligence.I took my car in for an oil change and my front brakes needed to be changed. It took a little longer than expected and they kept me informed the whole time. They also informed me that my water pump was leaking. I knew I was hearing weird sounds and I have taken my car to other auto care places prior and no one mentioned that at all. Very reasonably priced and always kept me in the loop with what was going on with my car while I waited. Offered me a beverage and was very polite. Saw the Yelp reviews and thought I would give this place a try. Came here for an alignment because I went to get it at another shop and supposedly "one of the bolts was corroded" so they couldn't do it and wanted to charge me 250 to fix it. Wanted to get a second opinion and was disappointed to find out that Hans doesn't do alignment! but they recommended me to another shop which did it super quick and cheap. Decided to come back here for an oil change and to check a couple other issues in my car since they gave me a good recommendation. They did the oil change quick and checked all the fluids and tire pressure and then Eric took the time to answer all the questions I had about supposed problems other mechanics found for a good 15 min. Normally I write comedic reviews on Yelp but there is nothing funny about Han's Auto. It's just an amazing place. You feel so at home when you talk to Eric about your car. He seems like a long-lost brother in fact. Immediately I felt comfortable enough to hand him my baby to hold. But I do not have a baby. Nevertheless you get what I'm trying to say! He's awesome! Eric was a bunch of friendly no-nonsense and his crew moves quickly. They work like a well oiled machine zipping cars in and out of the bays, yelling at each other in a language I didn't understand but with a genuinely ernest production that anybody can appreciate. Quick oil change with a discount cuz I paid cash. We also discussed a particular issue with my Honda and Eric basically told me I could do without it at the moment. In other words, he didn't try to slide me into extra unneeded repairs. I think most of us would agree that getting hooked into unnecessary repairs is a major fear and common occurrence in Los Angeles, wouldn't you say? Of course. Well no worrying about that here. It was the middle of rush hour, and I pulled in for an oil change. I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff, I was quickly attended and given a brief summary but detailed summary of what will be be done and the materials to be used and a fair price. There was a queue of about 6-7 cars ahead of me so I was expecting an hour or more wait, but to my surprise my car was ready before I could even get comfortable it really shows their work ethic, time management, organization and process of getting things done. I've been here twice so far thanks to a recommendation from a friend and I'm always coming here now for any car issues! The first time I came my front bumper was not placed onto my car correctly so it was kind of sticking out. Mr. Kim (I believe) really helped me out and it only cost $40 to have it taken out and refitted onto my car and glued. It looks ALOT better! The second time I came was for an oil change. For synthetic oil it was $85, which is standard for an SUV, but it took only around 30mins at most. The service was so fast! He even cleaned the instead of the hood because it was so dusty inside. He even checked the air pressure and filled some air into the tires! He also refilled my window wiper fluid! Seriously such an amazing place and they go above and beyond for service! Everyone there is SUPER nice and helpful. It can get a little crowded and busy but they're really efficient so it goes by quickly! DEFINITELY COME HERE! read more

I first came here because the shop I usually go to is closed on Sundays and my car was making a weird whining noise so I knew I had to get it checked out ASAP. I came in at 8:30AM and they took care of me right away. I had to get the 2 rear break pads replaced but they informed me that I didn't need to get a new rotor (rear) quite yet. They also checked my front breaks and noticed that I needed a new rotor pretty badly so I got that taken care of too. Although I ended up spending more than I wanted to (about $370 which included an oil change), I feel the price was reasonable compared to other shops that just try to rip you off. They were honest and timely which are the top 2 traits I look for in an auto repair shop. I've been back to shop at least 3 times since this and every time they treat me with the same level of service and take care of me right away. In fact, I've been twice to get things checked and they didn't even charge me for it which is super nice and respectable. This place is now my "go-to" shop and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! read more

I just got back home from Hans Beverly Auto and I needed to give a review that this shop deserves. I have been here numerous times in the past for oil changes, air filters, and more comprehensive maintenance. Every time I come here the prices are reasonable and the work is done in a timely manner. I came today to get some lights swapped out of my car and the crew here did an excellent job in under 10 minutes (no exaggeration). The owner is super friendly, has a good sense of humor, and is genuine. You can really sense that he is a "good guy". I feel positive energy around everyone that works here. I will continue to come here for all my cars for any type of maintenance that is required.
