That's actually one of the reasons I like coming back for it. The pork chop is tender and flavorful, but the sauce is really what makes the dish for me. It has a nice sweet and sour taste, but it's very well balanced. Not too sweet, not too sour, and neither one takes over the whole dish. It goes really well with the pork chop and gives it that old-school HK cafe flavor. Definitely something a little different from the usual baked pork chop rice, curry, or black pepper dishes you see everywhere. Service here has always been good too. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they check on you without constantly coming over. Even when they're busy, service is still pretty solid. Parking is probably the only annoying part. They share the parking lot with another restaurant, so during weekend lunch time it can get pretty packed. You might have to circle around or wait for someone to leave. Just something to keep in mind if you're coming during the busy hours. Overall, Tasty Choice is a solid HK cafe and one of those places I'm happy to come back to. If you've never tried the Italian Style Grilled Pork Chop, give it a shot. My personal favorite Garden is actually Garden Bistro in Rowland Heights where it is more modern and cleaner however, I can't complain since this location is much closer to where I live.
