We ordered the Big plate chicken to share, and let me tell you, it was phenomenal! The dish is a spicy chicken stew made with Sichuan peppercorns, cumin, and chili paste, and comes with handpulled noodles. It was my first time trying this type of Chinese-Uyghur crossover dish, and it definitely surpassed my expectations. The portion was incredibly generous as well, as the dish was more than enough for the two of us plus leftovers. All in all, our night out at Ma's Kitchen was a success! ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Really excellent Chinese-Vietnamese food! I tried this place for the first time a few months ago…read moreand was very much impressed. Firstly, the service here is great and very quick. The food was for sure a standout! We were a large party and order a lot of items and also ordered from the set menu. The crab and lobster was amazing, as was the shaken beef, the noodles, the shrimp, and pretty much everything. I feel this place is the place to go if you have a large dining party, because the set menu will have something that everyone can enjoy. Overall, I liked it a lot and will definitely be back.

My brother order the Black bean with clams , Lobster with lo mein, French Bo Luc Lac, Fried Tilapia, Mapo Tofu, Salt And Pepper Pork, Shrimp With Egg and Vegetables. For the final item. The clam was ok not sandy. The lobster with lo mein was also ok. The French Bo Luck Lac was a little chewy. Not like some places they are soft. The Tilapia and the Shrimp with egg and the Salt And Pepper Pork was good. The vegetable was ok but I don't eat vegetables. My mom used to tell to me to eat vegetables but I still don't. I don't like some vegetables that kind of hard. The service i s some what not ok. In the beginning the service was great cause of no customers. When there were some customers my brother had to go up to talk to the waitress to either get refill for the tea of napkins and the bill too. She wasn't that busy at all. He had to go up 4 to 5 times. We would probably to another place next time.

We just wanted to try these out & I just learned from the other reviews that these are jianbings. These seem simple and healthy since you can taste each ingredient - little to no salt other than from the hot dogs/sauces/cracker/chili oil used to make it spicy. Some might find that bland but I love the simplicity. Great snack/light meal, and more casual than typical Chinese restaurant food. The cart seems to be run by a husband/wife duo who work hard and are open every day from day to night. Nice to support a small local business!

We pulled up about 6:30 pm - there was a small line at this little converted bicycle as a stand? Just one guy making every order! The crepe was really awesome there was some kind of crispy wanton wrappers, (maybe), a hot dog , 3 eggs, green onion, cilantro, and hot sauce - please do not discount how good the stone milled crepes are! For $10 totally delicious and worth it- every ingredient did its job in the crepe and made every bite a little different and interesting

My family and I came over for lunch, and it was loud and crowded on a Sunday at about noon. We…read morechecked in and got a number. It took about ten minutes for us to get a booth table, but we were waiting inside. The staff member called numbers firstly in Cantonese then in English. After we sat down, the waiting line persisted past 1 pm. Similarly, the bustling loudness continued on during the course of our meal. Food arrived quickly, however. The price point for the delicious food is competitive. We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.
