We got the two broth flavors with lamb and both types of beef. Firstly, the sauce bar was kind of sad. It didn't have that many options as I had hoped for, and the same goes for the small plates. There was a bit more variety when it came to the actual hot pot add-ins, including many types of seafood like clams. Overall, the area was not very clean and a bit hectic at times, with water/drinks spilling on the floor frequently and making the floor gross. The meat quality was pretty good and definitely worth it if you're going in really hungry. The House Special tier is the one we go with and it seems to give you the most bang for your buck. (There really seems to be ongoing hot pot wars with so many great options in the area.) Their veges, noodles and sauces are fresh and refilled constantly. They are quick to bring out plates of meat that you order - I prefer the garlic beef and of course, the lamb. My favorite soup to order is the golden cabbage marrow broth which has a great spicy and sour flavor when I get this I find myself hardly using the sauces because the soup already adds great flavor to the ingredients. I am really into their freshly made lamb dumplings and I eat so many that they put me over the top. They have refillable soda station that is included in the price and few little dessert options that share the sauce area. They have a cheaper option which doesn't include unlimited hot pot meat for $24. All of their non meat options are "buffet style" where you grab a plate and take what you want. The sacha sauce at the sauce bar was bad. This is the base of my sauce, so I couldn't get it right. Having the right sauce at hotpot is top 2 requirements of having a good hotpot experience IMO. (Second is having good quality beef brisket) The pork broth was decent too but the tomato broth was lackluster. Price was 26/person if you get non-meat (but you can get seafood). They charge a 30-something excessive food waste fee if you leave too much food behind so, try to finish everything. It's better to get less & get up multiple times than eat with your eyes & pile too much food that you can't finish. We were able to finish so all was good. Anyway, the only thing that bothered me was that they take away the plates on the side as soon as they're empty. I would've appreciated if they asked before taking the plates cuz I had to get up to get another one cuz I was actually using the plate. For the food, it's buffet style like Spring Shabu-Shabu. The entire table has to pay for the same level so vegetarians will pay more if they're dining with meat eaters. Wait time usually isn't too bad, maybe 20-30 minutes at peak, and you can get on the line through the electronic sign up at the door. We chose the all you can eat option so that limited our choices. We were brought tofu, lamb, chicken, fish, pork, and noodles. All were raw and had to be put into the hot soup to cook. The lamb had good flavor and the fish was very tender. The chicken was breast meat and my granddaughter was very happy with it. But I couldn't tell the difference between the beef and the pork.
