Their menu offers a variety of drinks that are very different from the other subpar bubble tea shops in flushing. I figured to give it a try one day and honestly, it has got to be the worst decision ever. Now, I am addicted and sometimes I even have cravings, which is unusual for me when it comes to drinks. I tried the cheese tea and it was actually pretty good. I was excited to try it from the start but the idea of cheese and tea kind of freaked me out. But since I love trying out new types of food/dessert I decided to go for it, with my friend. The combination of the cheese and tea were complementary and it was an overall interesting experience. I got the green tea so it was a mixture of both bitter and salty. First came the dense salty cheese followed by the bitter green tea. This new Flushing food court is worth the trip from Manhattan and one of the reasons why is because of Happy Lemon. The lemon cooler is made from REAL lemons that have the ever so slightest hint of tartness. Their lemon cooler slush comes with lychee ai you jello but you can choose to add boba or additional ingredients. It's truly refreshing n even tastes great even if you leave it in the fridge overnight. The staff is so friendly too, the second time I ordered from this stand, the cashier already recognized me and knew what I wanted to order. Got a medium tiramisu chocolate tea for $5. The tea was super bitter. Couldn't taste anything but bitterness. Went back and asked if I could get them to add sugar or syrup to enhance the taste. They said no, so I asked to change for something else. The lady at the counter said no again, even if the other worker wanted to allow it. She said no other bubble tea place changes orders, but I have done so in GongCha and Kungfu Tea without any fuss or back-sass. For $5, I could've just gone to starbucks or any other better bubble tea places with better customer service and better products. Luckily, they were out of Large sized cups at 6:00 pm or I would have wasted an extra dollar to get a large. Very disappointed, never buying from HappyLemon ever again. read more

Been there twice since it opened and really enjoyed the teas. Got both the Jasmine tea and grapefruit green tea and both were very good. I used to get the grapefruit green tea from Kung Fu tea but I actually enjoy it from here better. It's also slightly cheaper than Kung Fu tea, which is always a positive. read more

Somehow I always end up at this stall every time I come to this food court. I do like their tea, it has the real tea flavor instead of fake chemical powder taste of some tea shops. However their wait time is always too long. Hope they improve on that. Price is not bad either compare to others. read more

I am making a trip out to Flushing again just to visit the Happy Lemon. The lemon green tea is delicious and tangy. The amazing flavor should be available on every street corner. This beverage stall is located in the new food court on Roosevelt Avenue near College Point Boulevard. They specialize in lemon and citrus flavored drinks and I'm pretty happy with what I've tried so far. Very disappointed. I ordered hot bubble tea and they used the plastic wrap as the cup lid. The tea is poured from a hot tea pot and add half cup of hot water and mixed together. Tastes very plain. read more

Waited 30minute for the salted cheese light Oolong tea as they just ran out of Oolong tea, I'd say the tea flavor in this drink is indeed light, in fact too light for my taste, Id stick to the black tea next time for a stronger tea flavor if you like the salted cheese series of drinks. read more

In the midst of a delicious food court, Happy Lemon sells a variety of drinks. I wasn't feeling too adventurous so I just stuck with a simple bubble milk tea. The drink itself was delicious. I ordered less sugar (30%) but it still tasted quite sweet. The bubbles tasted fresh. However, the wait for this drink was wayyyyy too long. They definitely need more workers. There's always a long line with people ordering multiple drinks that the workers can't keep up. I waited maybe 20 minutes after ordering for my bubble tea, which is not acceptable for a simple drink. The workers seemed to move slower than a turtle's pace. Unfortunately, it's only one of the two places in the food court that sells specialty drinks. read more

I've tried the Mango Lemon slushy, Mango Lemon latte and Yakult Lemon slushy. By far, my favorite was the mango lemon slushy. It has mango slices. It's a bit on the sweet side. The Yakult slushy was ok but the mango version was more favorful. The latte was more like a smoothie. If you prefer something lighter go with the slushy. Oh yeah tried the cold version of the green tea with "salted cheese". It's basically a thick foamy white topping that taste salty and I guess cheesy. The closest thing I can think of is whipped cream but not sweet. It was good but not amazing. read more

I agree with the rest of the reviewers, there seems to be a perma frown on the face of the employees here and they act like you're asking them to climb mount everest if you request the simplest things after the fact. It makes coming here way more unpleasant than it should be considering the drinks are 5 stars.
