Although I've eaten here on very few rare occasions I decided today that I would go here since I had to pick up printer ink from Office Depot next door. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and Mongolian beef lunch special and the waiter asked me "1-5 how hot would you like it?" I told him 5. The meal tasted fine in some areas, and the portions were huge on my plate, but there was no spice. It wasn't even remotely 1 star hot. If he was asking "how warm would you like your food sir", then yeah fine he did a great job in that category, but I asked for it to be all spicy and the kid didn't follow through. The kid waiter was a bit pushy with constant water and Coke refills. I told him on a few occasions "no refills" and he did it anyways. Last night i ordered a bubble tea taro and a chicken Vietnamese sandwich. We received the taro first for $3.49 I believe, and it was tasty. It met my expectations. As I was waiting for the chicken Vietnamese sandwich; I peeped the back of the kitchen room to see how they make it. First of all, this sandwich was at LEAST $8 - and Im fairly disappointed that the person making MY sandwich was wearing NO type of gloves!! I confronted the front receptionist about it and she said "Dont worry, we make sure his hands are washed" that doesnt matter!! You should ALWAYS wash your hands and WEAR gloves when touching someones food! Did yall not take a food test before you opened the restaurant? Anyhow, as I received the sandwich, after opening it; it tasted AWFUL. The bread wasn't as crispy, there was BARELY any vegetables and a sh*tload of TERIYAKI CHICKEN / BBQ CHICKEN. I never ordered a TERIYAKI CHICKEN SANDWICH nor a shitload of bbq sauce all over the sandwich which made it SOGGY. It was the worst Vietnamese sandwich I've tasted, and "dAs a diSgRace tO dA FamiRY" If you guys want a tasty, crispy Vietnamese sandwich I would suggest HONG KONG MARKET for just $3.49. read more

I went to this restaurant today and i ate pho tai chin nac(this is number 2 on noodle soup menu) and lemon chicken(I don't know which menu it was in). Anyway, first of all, I liked the soup bcuz it had a deep taste. And the thing is that they put a lot of briskets in there so I could ate that as much as I wanted. My friend and I come here all the time for their pho its great! Great service too they know most of us by name and already bring our drinks when we walk through the door. The pork sandwich is really tasty especially if you dip it in your pho broth. Chicken katsu is crispy and hot. Orange chicken is a hit and miss! read more

I have a bowl of Pho here almost every work day. They know me, so its not really fair in comparison to a random visit. I walk in, go to the back and wash the paws, and by the time I get back to my usual table, the food is already there. You can't beat that! They've been going through a handful of assistants there lately. The "white boy" there sometimes is the owners son. The poor manager deals with pretty much sole responsibility of the place - if he ain't there, the sign says "closed". That said, he works his arse off, A bit much though, for a fella to be the cook, server, shopper, and run the till. I'm picky about my Pho. Won't ever go back to a place that doesn't boil the broth for at least a day. Luckily, plenty of beef flavor for me! I've been here several times now. Wish there was one of these restaurants closer to my work! Again, I can never pass up the fried rice, even though I always intend to just get Pho. It is ok, though, as I end up having the rice for lunch the next day. So flavorful. I love the Pho, too. Tender chicken in bite-sized pieces. Have been to so many Pho restaurants where the chicken is tough and stringy. The fried rice is the best I have ever had. Clean, modern, fast service. Near Kohl's, not far off 18. This place is right across my aunts office and she wanted to get pho across the street when we went to visit her and this place is awful ! The broth has little to know flavor, and that's really important to me in pho. My grandma had the chicken katsu and it tasted really dry like it had been sitting awhile before it was served. This place was good at once and then, they had this older lady working there!!! omg she is soooo rude!! I asked for them to fix my bubble tea because it tasted like the powder and she refused!! I mean she argued with my husband and I about it for like 5 min. She straight said no to a refund and no to fix the drink. We ended up leaving the drink and walking out. This is hands down my favorite pho place!! Such good food and amazing service! Everybody is so nice and I love coming here for date night!

Good portions, good vegetarian options, and a lot better than most places around here. The service here has always been pretty good for me, and when I do take out, I never have to wait more than 10 minutes. Avoid the spring rolls though, unless you want a mouthful of iceberg lettuce and farmed shrimp. read more

I went to this place the first time today to look at the menu, I noticed an assortment of dishes including Pad Thai. I decided to try the Pad Thai, not expecting the best since its not a Thai restaurant, but not expecting what I got also. The Pad Thai had no flavor, the veggies tasted rotten and the chicken a funky texture. I ate about 5 bites and imediatly felt sick. I spent the next couple hours incredibly ill and ended up throwing the whole dish away. This was by far the worst Thai dish ive had in my life. I have not tried anything else from this place and now I never will. If you can not cook Thai food, please do not even add it to your menu. Everything you make is a representation of your company, and even though they may make good Pho, because of this experience I will NEVER go there again. read more

My Hubby and I've been here twice. The first time it was ok. The pho was pretty bleh...no taste. He added lots of hoisin sauce, siracha hot sauce, and squeezed all of the lime juice. You know when you are eating good pho, you don't have to add many extra condiments. We also had the dumplings, which were ok. Not bad nor was it good for us to rave about. The service was a joke! We asked for a pot of hot tea and the tea came out cold like he'd just got it out of the sink and threw a tea bag in the pot. The waiter had to redo it 3xs and all 3xs it was cold. WTH?!? I'd watched him pour water into a small tea cup and microwaved it! Imagine how small the cups are! Yes, ONE CUP of tea into our teapot. WOW, I can't believe we'd gave this place a 2nd chance and brought family along the 2nd time. On their menu, it says to ask for the daily special. I asked the waiter what it was and he responded not on weekends. So I corrected him, THERE ARE NO DAILY SPECIALS, but weekdays specials only. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Great service. Very clean and newer atmosphere. The Pho was ok. Not the best and not the worst. Too many noodles and not enough veggies, but the right amount of meat. And only $8 for a small bowl (which is actually more than enough) of steak pho and a hot tea. read more

Just awful. Ordered fresh spring rolls. Crummy old shredded lettuce, bean thread and two tiny tasteless shrimp and soggy. Yuck. It doesn't take much to make a nice spring. Come on, You can do better. I was also there on an understaffed day. 45 minutes to get my to go order. Three tables and they were maxed on ability to cook, serve, clean and pay. read more

I came to Happy Pho Time with one other friend. When we walked into the restaurant it was fairly clean and nicely decorated, also the girl that was serving us was friendly. The combination made it a nice place to sit down and eat. I ordered pho, and my friend ordered the Mongolian beef. The pho that was served had a great taste to it. On the better side of most pho soups that I have tried. My friends mongolian beef meal was huge! And it tasted great, too. I would definitely come back and eat again; I'm excited to try the orange chicken which the server had recommended. read more

I just can't express how much I love this place. The Pad Thai is to die for and comes in a massive portion. The Thai tea is so delicious at this place, it's damn near addicting. Bringing my friends is now a tradition of ours because we all enjoy it so much. The staff is friendly, they remember you after a few visits and welcome you like friends. A while back I moved away and when I visited the area again I stopped to eat here. The waitress noted my absence and offered me a free Thai tea. Once I came in on a bitterly cold day and waited for my friends to arrive. During my wait, we were given little bowls off egg drop soup to warm up. The manager has stopped by our table to give us potstickers and just last night we were given an extra soup to take home. Overall, it's just been the best dining experience I've had and I really love the people that work here. They're so kind, and the food is amazing. Just do yourself a favor and stop by some time, you won't regret it. read more

WORST PLACE EVER. Their bubble tea is not what is used to be. I ordered bubble tea with fruit jelly since they were out of tapioca. She rang me up and went to make my drink. The girl grabbed my cup and put it IN HER MOUTH. They obviously don't know infection control!!! I stopped her and asked for another cup mentioning you're not supposed to put the cups in your mouth. She put it BACK WITH THE OTHERS and got me a fresh one, it has probably been in her mouth too. At this point I just wanted my money back but it was so hot outside I really wanted a refreshing drink. She gave me my drink and I already knew it was going to be bad just looking at the consistency and color of it. I noticed zero fruit jelly, so i reminded her that I ordered the fruit jelly with it. She took it back and was in the process of adding a scoop of jelly to the top of the drink and the guy waiter freaked out on her loudly saying "What are you doing!? She didn't pay for the jelly!?" and looked at me horrified saying "You didn't pay for it!!" I had to inform him that I ordered it that way and it wasn't my fault it was wrongly put into the computer. And he just smirked and said I will have to pay for the jelly if I want it. At this point I lost it and just demanded for my drink as is and left, throwing it away after one sip of it. if you guys want to eat pho soup or spring rolls or if you guys want to eat cheaper price i recommend you to go to PHO WORLD in renton near Fred meyer.. i know its too far from renton but its worth it.. customer service little bit not good but the way they served theyre food is better and worth your money.. and this happy pho time only had small portions and u wait for more than 10 mins. before they served u. just go to pho world its worth your money!! read more
