Stopped in here for a coffee when I was in the shopping center for a pick me up. When I walked in, the ambiance was magical and cozy. It felt very relaxed, but upscale. The seating was very comfortable. When ordering the barista was welcoming and helpful in understanding the menu. I definitely needed to ask for help navigating the menu, because I wanted a coffee drink, but some of the spices and flavors of the shop. They helped me figure out ordering the haraz latte. They also helped my husband decide the pistachio latte. Mine was very flavorful and unique. It was basically a latte with a mix of cinnamon spices. My husbands was similar, but with pistachio flavoring. I did not like his, but he enjoyed it. One of the highlights was the biscoff milk cake. It was so moist and fun to eat. They even gave a spoon to scoop up the milky crumbs. I have never had anything like that. This place is definitely worth stopping in to try.

My friend is a huge matcha lover and found this spot on TikTok and we decided to check It out. According to her the matcha was GREAT! So they are "Matcha Approved" for those lovers. Me on the other hand, I'm not a big fan of matcha, but they sold me on their deserts. I had the "Biscoff Milk Cake" and It was soooo good! Go ahead and treat yourself . I also loved the Interior of this place. It was super cute and authentic. It is a cafe type of place, so you can get some work done In there and they open late. Service was pleasant as well and the staff were encouraging.

Truly a unique experience to have coffee and sweets in a social environment with warm Arabic melodic tones playing in the background. I was hooked on Haraz the first time I visited. It reminded me of places past traveled, but set in a more modern space. The restaurant is always clean. The staff are great. I come to enjoy their Turkish Coffee and buttery croissants. Always fresh and flavorful. I look forward to my next visit.

Haraz is a great cafe with lots of drinks and desserts to choose from. This place is probably the closest you'll get to Dubai in the MoCo area lol. It's a chill spot, and I usually bring my laptop to get work done while sipping on tea or eating a pastry. It gets very busy during certain hours and days, and some times it's difficult to find a seat. I've tried their version of a chai latte, and although it doesn't taste like authentic chai, it tastes alright. One version has saffron, and I think the drink is an acquired taste. The desserts also have unique spices in it, and it may just be saffron that's used in all their food and drinks, but it definitely doesn't taste like the typical American desserts we're all probably used to. I've enjoyed both the saffron and rose milk cake, and I also liked the Syrian cheese bread. I'm looking forward to trying their other menu items!

I had heard from a friend about Haraz Coffee house in Fairfax and this location just opened up so thought to give this a try. Everything we ordered was good except the service. We waited for our order for a long time and then when we asked they said they delivered to the wrong table. Our son was waiting for biscoff cake and after 20 mins when i went and checked she said she will get it and I had to really use a loud tone as our was really hungry. The girl on the counter was so confused and the server too. They had no idea what they were doing. I wish the service was good because their coffees and cakes were too good. Bad service just took away the experience.

I love this coffee shop. It's so welcoming and peaceful. Plus the coffee and matcha is amazing!

This Yemeni cafe that opened up in Burtonsville is SO amazing, I will 100% be coming back here for those coffee chats with friends. The place is very extravagantly decorated, the presentation of food is beautiful, service is top notch, and there is so much seating. I am not a big coffee drinker so I loved the Saffron tea! The saffron flavor was so clear! We shared the medium pot for 3 people and it was plenty and totally worth it, it came with cute cups. I also really enjoyed the honeycomb bread, it was light & fluffy, perfect for a morning treat -- there is cheese in it but it's not overwhelming at all. I also loved the Dubai mosaic cake, probably not the most "morning food" but it was rich and thick I would totally eat it again in the AM. I thought the Syrian bread was alright compared to the other two. Strongly recommend checking this place out!

It's nice to have another coffee option nearby! This coffee house is the newest additon to Burtonsville Crossing! They opened a few weeks ago so the staff is still getting their footing. Word has spread because the place is packed. The interior and decor is nice! I really enjoyed my salted caramel latte - it was very rich and tasty! I took mine to go but this is definitely a place I wouldn't mind sitting down. They have a variety of desserts and pastries. Next time I'll try one.

Went to the soft opening. Lovely large venue perfect for socializing and vibing. Friendly and fast service. Lots of coffee, tea, matcha, refresher options available. Also, lots of baked goodies. So glad it's nearby!!!

Good drinks. Seems to be a lot of Middle Eastern coffee shops popping around. This one was good too. I think better than shotted. We had their Matcha coffee along with a mango one. The only thing I would probably reduce is the sweetness, but I usually like less sweet drinks. Apart from that though that atmosphere was nice, and the coffee came out quick. It's a good spot.

Glad a location is now open in this area! There are so many options to choose from, but got a large Karak Chai and a Rose Milk Cake. The chai is nicely spiced and tasty while the rose milk cake is soft, moist, and delicious. The interior decoration I love and there's ample seating. Quick service and kind staff. Will definitely be coming back to get some work done here.

My friend had been raving about this place all week and how she wanted to go there together. After a long day at work/school, we decided to do it. This is my first time in Haraz, and I am obsessed. I got the salted caramel latte and the Biscoff milk cake, and wow, wow, wow, delicious. My friends also got some sweet treats, and everything was perfect. We went around 6/7 pm, and it was pretty quiet. We have our sweet bits and just yap while we drink and eat. This might be my new spot to get work done and chill. It is so cozy and cute, and I love the vibe. I really like the spot and look forward to trying other items.

For a couple of months my friend, who is of Turkish heritage and lives out in Germantown, wanted to meet me closer to my home to go to Cazbar. We went on Saturday, 9/6/25 for lunch (lunch prices are better as why I shot for lunch time). We walked in, and it was fancy Middle Eastern decor. Server was nice & efficient answering questions. I got their take on flatbread pizza called Lamb Pide. Wow, the lamb and pizza as a whole was amazing. My friend got some more expensive platter, which looked good. If I came back, I'd maybe get something like what he got. My friend (& me to a lesser extent) were cogitating on getting a dessert. I think me saying we ate a lot, it's extra calories, & prices are pretty high for dessert, ended up swaying him not to get dessert. Plus, there was a Greek festival and might get a baklava or other dessert there, which I did. Overall, my impression was wow, this place is impression, and I want to go with my girlfriend one of these days, maybe on a weekend before a movie at AMC Columbia or something.

The freshly grilled meats were tender and aromatic, and the house-made breads were warm and delicious. Though the restaurant may appear unassuming from the outside, its food quality makes the visit truly worthwhile. The owner, Manzoor Ahmad, and his staff were warm, attentive, and gracious. We appreciated the pleasant conversation with the owner and the thoughtful gesture of complimentary items. The only drawback was the service time, since most dishes are prepared fresh on a small grill, resulting in a noticeable wait. However, the freshness and taste more than compensated for the delay.
