We had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe in Honolulu recently and we had a great experience. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartenders who were very pleasant, helpful and prompt. We were planning on having dinner later so we decided to order some appetizers to tide us over. The Boneless Chicken wings were delicious and mixed with a fantastic buffalo sauce. We also got the Nachos and they were delicious even without adding any additional protein to them. Overall we had a great experience here!

When in Honolulu....go to somewhere husband is familiar (just because of our food choices differ a lot). Anyway, on the 1st floor is the gift shop and then go upstairs for the restaurant. The place and decor is really nice....we were seated overlooking the road. I got the Swiss Mushroom Smash Burger, a two smashed & stacked burgers seasoned and seared medium-well, with Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomato and dijonnaise. It was good for a hungry person. Hubby got the Original Legendary Burger which he said was good. Whole experience is okay...except when the birds start to fly over....ayiyi!

Mahalo for another fantastic HRC meal. Vibes are very Hawaiian, which we love. Great seats to see the hustle of Waikiki post marathon. Loved the special menu items for the marathon as well. Forgot our servers name, but he was spot on with his recommendations.

Food was pretty good but nothing super special. The burger was solid and the fries were good, but overall it felt more like a standard chain experience than anything memorable. Service was fine and the atmosphere was what you'd expect from Hard Rock. Not bad, just not something I'd go out of my way for.

I hadn't been to a Hard Rock Cafe since 1991. I thought they were all closing. My teen son wanted to come here. He found it while he was walking the street with some friends last night. There is nothing Hawai'i about it except for it's on the island. In a way, I guess that is nice to get food you know you will like and understand what it is. The smash burgers were excellent. Except for the view I would have thought I was on the mainland. Nice staff and decor. Amaya was an excellent server. I enjoyed the local beer. If you want authentic Hawaiian or Asian cuisine, go elsewhere. If you want an American staple, eat here!

Hawaii is the best for a Hard Rock Cafe and I always make a stop when im in town. The food is always super tasty, and it's a fun atmosphere. Seriously, the customer service is always top-notch too. I highly recommend checking it out if you're ever there!

However the most importantly, service! We had the best server Danielle! She is Amazing, lovely, helpful, sweet and just wonderful! We are so happy! Thank you so much, Danielle! You made our double Birthday very special! We will remember this for a long time! We appreciate everything! Hard Rock Cafe, we will be back soon! Matt & Anna

Really wanted to like this restaurant, we do not have a hard rock café in Seattle due to it being closed years ago. I heard a lot of people say how the food was not good. Me and my fiancé were in Honolulu and I saw the hard rock and wanted to try it. Looking at their website And then you looked really appetizing so we decided to give it a try! Started off with chicken nachos, those were OK nothing good nothing bad just kind of blasé. I ordered the steak fajitas, and my fiancé had the messi chicken sandwich which was for a limited time only unloaded fries. Immediately took a bite of my fajita and was not pleased. The meat was not seasoned nor were any of the onions or bell peppers. I was starving so I ate it, but there was absolutely no flavor :( I actually ended up using the avocado cream of sauce that came with our nachos, which made the fajita edible. But would not order those in the future! My fiancé's chicken sandwich was absolutely incredible, two chicken Katsu patties, loaded with cheese on a soft bun, it was huge, and normally my fiancé can finish a chicken sandwich and he couldn't finish it, no worries, though we took the rest home ! Service by Alex was amazing, he was attentive, very pleasant and took care of us, this has to be one of the coolest restaurants I've never ever been into, music really wasn't our type that was playing that night!

Really cool hard rock. Great bar area. Service was A+. Cool live music, great food, and drinks. Menu has lots of good meals and drinks to choose from. Also, really good for breakfast too. We stopped in here on a whim because the place we wanted was busy. surprisingly the breakfast here is really good.

Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu is fun vibes with not-memorable food but memorable vibes! I went with my husband for his birthday and it was our first Hard Rock Cafe visit, ever! We are familiar with the brand but we didnt ever eat here. When we came in, we were greeted by an awesome staff team! Their service was so nice and attentive. I was impressed with how kind, quick, and cool our server was. I can't remember her name, but she was ELITE! When it's your birthday, except a ROCKIN announcement and a sweet treat! I will say The food was very mid... I can tell the recipes should be delicious and well balanced, but things were not cooked consistently and it tasted like they were made with minimal effort. However, it was dinner time and I can understand how kitchens can get during the rush! The vibe in here is so fun. Music videos playing and awesome interior! Then live music plays!!! Also, don't forget to buy some merch!

Today we ate at Hard Rock Cafe! The top deck is amazing being seated outside on the deck with the trade winds blowing is simply incredible. This has been our go to spot while on vacation! Their drinks are very well made. The service was/is excellent and the food just as good. The Pineapple Upside Down French Toast is a winner!! You must try them!!

Chicken, waffles, bacon and eggs with hot honey and syrup.

Mother's Day brunch for a group of 8. The chicken and waffles were amazing. Fast service great waitress, live music was enjoyable. Would have gave 5 stars but we asked for parking validation for bank of Hawaii parking garage next door and they put the sticker on receipt to QR scan. We all walked out to our cars then realized the hosted Gabe is stickers for last month April 15th not today May 10. The validation didn't work cause they're only good for the 4 hr period day of. How the hell do you even have a book of stickers still from last month. Kinda shady made us feel as if it was on purpose. Managers might wa t to check your people. Hopefully it wasn't on purpose to get out of paying the $4 differences m.

The food was great . The ambience was cool and relaxing with a nice view . The service was excellent our waitress was very nice. Only reason I knocked off a star was because the drinks were a bit strong and took away from the flavor .

It was our first time dining here last night (7/11) and what a gem of a restaurant! Chris was our…read moreserver and let us know the specials of the day. He described everything with such care that it was hard not to order everything! I'd highly recommend a reservation as there was not an empty table the entire two hours we were there. The restaurant is on the smaller side so it can get quite loud but our table had great conversations and a overall lovely time. Appetizer: We ordered the konpachi hush puppies (apologies, they had a nicer name but this is how they were described to us) and they were delicious! I'm not a lover of fish, but these were so flavorful and the sauce paired perfectly with it. Drinks: I had the meringue di cedri to drink and it was akin to a lemon drop (10/10) it was sippable and lasted my whole meal. Husband had the Hana Koa Rice Breaker, which is one of his favorites as its smooth and pairs well with honestly anything. Entree: You will be missing out if you don't get the lemon risotto. I ordered it with the prosciutto and it may be one of the best meals I've had in Hawaii. The zucchini is done two ways in it: diced to be mixed in with the risotto and thinly sliced and grilled on top of the risotto. The panko crumbs on top really solidified the plate for me as top tier as risotto can get to be boring to eat after a few bites as they can lack texture, but not this risotto! Every bite was a journey and it was a very filling meal. My husband ordered the Korean steak and said it was better than some of the local steakhouses we had gone to. Our friend ordered the spaghetti carbonara and enjoyed it as well. Dessert: We were encouraged to try the Rocky Road ice cream and decided it was a must have when you visit. It was creamy, rich and delectable. We also opted to try the dessert special of the evening which was a Lilikoi cheesecake with a chocolate mousse. The cheesecake had a sour tang to it and the chocolate mousse partner with it to balance it out so it wasn't overly sweet. We loved it and I know in a few days we'll be craving this meal all over again!

France meets Italy - meets Hawaii. I'm still dreaming of this. The burger features a thick, juicy, 8-ounce grass-fed patty made from a custom house-selected blend of short rib, chuck roast, and brisket. Get it with the crispy potatoes. You will thank me. Risotto on point. Luxuriously rich, creamy texture. The rice retains a slight al dente bite in the center, giving it structure rather than letting it become mushy. Prosciutto adds a perfect salty, savory crunch to break up the rich risotto. The only misstep was the fries served with the quinoa burger. They were chalky, served at room temperature, limp, and underseasoned. Excellent friendly informal service. Park at the municipal parking on Bethel St just 1/2 block away. Happy Eating!!

Had a glass of wine and baby had watered down lemonade. Her drinks were put in plastic cups with covers and those horrible paper straws. Eyes always bigger than my stomach, we ordered: - Cornbread - when i grabbed it I thought would be super dense but really wasn't. I thought it was very corny and tasty. Lightly toasted. Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. Great dinner...but if anyone is listening...bring back the shrimp and grits!!!

The smoked octopus was sliced in pieces that were too thick and a little too chewy and the andouille sausage and black pepper overpowered the dish. Ordered the bourbon and bone marrow mostly for the presentation. It was WAAAY too rich and needed more bread to go with it. They should've served it with bread that wasn't buttered because the buttered bread even though tasty by itself was just too rich in combination with all of that bone marrow. The dish needed more balance. The ice cream sundae was unremarkable. Would have preferred it served with a choice of hot fudge or the caramel drizzle and since it was plain vanilla ice cream they could've drizzled a lot more caramel over it. The waitress did bring us more nuts when we asked, but they were busy at the time and she was the only server so it took her a while to get to us, and the ice cream was pretty melted by the time she delivered. We got there when they opened at 5 PM and they had two servers at that time. The place wasn't busy so it seemed like they had enough help for the amount of tables that were being seated. An hour and a half later, though, one server was missing (possibly taking a lunch break) and the only server remaining at several big parties to take care of which slowed down her responsiveness to the other smaller tables like ours. The music playing in the background seemed to fit the environment and was pleasant to listen to. It's a pretty casual atmosphere. The prices for what you get are a bit on the high end. Probably wouldn't go back unless someone else is paying. We didn't feel too bad this time because we had a gift certificate which covered most of our bill. Maybe we were choosing all the wrong items and should have just stuck to ordering meat dishes, which they might be better at making (with a name like Livestock). You'll have to check this place out yourself and see if they do a better job with meat and if the prices for those dishes are more reasonable. I gave this place four stars instead of three because the servers were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was mostly okay (tasty enough and filling).

Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor. Both me and my fiance liked the lukki lemon dessert, like lemon meringue pie but broken down version. If you have a chance to dine here before closing and got a reservation, definitely will have a lovely dining experience and your stomach will be full by end of the night.

Husband and I tried Nami Kaze in our recent trip to Hawaii. This place is huge! I was so glad to be…read moreseated in the side room because I found it to be a lot calmer, less people and no TV. The staff were friendly and very helpful with giving us recommendations. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees, and honestly it was too much food for us. We had leftovers for breakfast the next day! - For appetizers we got: Ulu Tots, Japanese Eggplant, and Corn Beignets. The Corn Beignets was the best. - For entree we got: Tomato Miso Black Cod and the Short Rib. Both were delicious and worth a try. Sad to see that this restaurant appears to be closing.
