We had an amazing server (Lynn?) with the BEST quick Witted responses and could keep up with my families quips which made the visit more fun than usual! Kids chicken fingers. Fried chicken sandwich. Our server Levi was accommodating and topped off our drinks regularly. He noticed I was looking at my chx sandwich after drop off, due to his attentiveness. I asked for mayonnaise, and he quickly got that as well as other condiments. Holy moly we loved this place! The waiting list for a table at 6 PM wasn't too bad (20 mins) and we were actually see that before we imagined. The walls of the restaurant are decorated with tons of guitars and other instruments from famous rock 'n' roll singers like Guns N' Roses and U2. There's a big airy, open atmosphere that feels fun with a spacious bar and numerous televisions that don't take away from the ambience of the establishment. I ordered the grilled salmon noodle dish and loved the taste and grilled perfection of the fish. The noodles were flavored with peanut sauce coupled with a salad. My wife ordered nachos with chicken and guacamole, drizzled in a good amount of cheese. We then topped off our meal with a fudge brownie sundae that was massive! Celebtated Thanksgiving at Hard Rock Cafe. Convenient parking is available under Bank of Hawaii across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe. Don't forget to get validated when the check is paid. I paid $7 instead of $18. U can stay in the parking garage for 4 hours with validation. The staff was courteous. Check-i n for the restaurant is at the podium at the front of Hard Rock Cafe. You will get a text when your table is ready. I bought a few things as Christmas is approaching and selection is still good. I had the barbecue combo pictured below with baby back ribs, some other really tasty meat, coleslaw and beans. My sister ordered the 8 oz steak salad and it looked tasty. We have had a great experience at every single Hard Rock Cafe we have been to. This one went above and beyond! When we first arrived there as a bit of a wait which was expected. We decided to check out the shop while we waited. This is where the staff exceeded our expectations. My twins have ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and the grated floor at the entrance was not easy for one of them. The staff was extremely patient and understanding and even offered to move the carpet that was on top of the grate to accommodate. They made sure other patrons gave her the space she needed and everyone was very patient as she worked through thus change. It took her a couple of minutes, but she finally made it in! We looked around the shop and then went to eat when our table was ready. Our waitress Danielle was amazing and very patient with my girls as she answered all their questions and concerns. When the food got to the table she waited to make sure everything was how the twins wanted it to be and to their satisfaction. Now that is top notch service. When you hear Hard Rock Cafe, you immediately may think of recalling some nostalgic moments of rock music to your mind. The ambiance here in Honolulu's location is a fun atmosphere that provides just that! I have come here for special events previously but surprised my husband with meeting one of his favorites Jake Shimabukuro. We were able to see him perform live only once before this and so this was a special moment for us. We ate brunch arriving very early and the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. I wish I didn't have such a bad memory and was able to remember her name- but she really was an excellent waitress which is super hard to find nowadays! Bartender Danny asked what we'd like drink and he started seconds after order to make some excellent drinks. Actually he was bartending alone and he was seriously on top of his game. Making delicious handcrafted drinks for the bar and entire restaurant one after the other. Was pretty impressed how he really cared about the presentation and quality of his creations. Ordered a couple steak burgers for dinner because they looked delicious on the menu. Tasted great with apple smoked bacon and all the fixings to include onion rings with dipping sauce. Burger and fries cost is $20.99, which is amazing for Waikiki and Honolulu for that matter. Food came out perfectly hot and delicious literally within 15 minutes. Had another drink and asked for manager. AGM Lisbeth came out with concern and I told her how amazing the restaurant, food and more importantly the staff treated us. When travelling, if the city I'm visiting has a "Hard Rock Café", I'll drop in. I am not necessarily a fan of the brand. But each store has their own unique city T-shirt designs, and these make good gifts for friends and family. (In this instance, the design of choice cost $35.00/each.) The location for this Hard Rock Café is very good. It is located on Beachwalk Ave, where it converges with Kalakaua Ave in Waikiki. It's within walking distance of many resort properties. The gift shop / stairway entry to the restaurant is on the ground floor; the bar and restaurant is on the second floor. There is indoor dining; but there's also patio dining on a lanai style balcony. As I was alone, I ate at the bar. I ordered a salmon Caesar salad ($20.99). A gin and tonic was $8.75 per serving. The salad was not necessarily special, but it was prepared and presented well; and the taste was good. The portion size of the fish and salad overall was reasonable, relative to the price. The service I received was "okay" and met minimally acceptable standards. I'm not making excuses for the staff, but it seems that my arrival coincided with the shift change. The outgoing staff was busy closing out their activities; and the incoming staff was focused on trying to prep for that evening's business, while trying to fulfill the orders of the servers on the dining floor. I was kind of lost in the middle of all that activity. In general, I hear a lot of complaints about menu prices in Waikiki. But after inspecting the menu, this Hard Rock Café offers some really reasonable food prices. And the ambiance is good. As this is a U.S. location, I assume this is a corporate operated store. Went walking around Waikiki on a staycation with my wife looking for a place to have drink before we go to our dinner reservations. It's been years since we gone here, not since they at their Kaipolani Blvd address. Walked in, forgot you had to go thru their logo store, did the covid thing, greeter was very nice, asked for a seat a the bar, and up the stairs we went. Greeted at the top by the hostess and she walked us over to the bar. The bartender greeted us and provided food menus and a drink menu. We were looking for a good margarita so he showed us what tequilas they had. Ended up getting Sauza respasado tequila in her margarita. I had Stella Artois on tap. Her margarita was very good and the bartender, Kaneala, was very engaging, we were his first costumers of the day, so we stayed and ordered fries to snack on. When we asked about side sauces, other then ketchup, he suggested a few and we settled on bbq. Since we were having such a good time, Kaneala definitely contributing to this, we ended up staying for dinner after cancelling our reservations. Wife had the salmon and I the baby back ribs. Got seated and was greeted by our really friendly server, apologizes in advance as I couldn't make out her name, all I remember is that she's worked as a server for many years and she's from Morocco. I previously had a late Saturday night out, and I was a bit hanging, so a Bloody Mary mix was on my mind lol. My friend is a true beer fanatic he ordered a Heineken. Overwhelmed with the menu and just excited to be out in Waikiki, we couldn't focus on the menu, our server seemed eager and wanted to put in our entree order in. He ended up deciding on the Baby Back Ribs and I wanted to try their new Sur & Turf Burger. What caught my attention on the description was One night in Bangkok Spicy Shrimp hehehe... Cheered on our 1st drink and in about 15 minutes our food came out! Wow, talk about a huge serving of ribs enough to share amongst a family of four!! My burger was pretty delicious, it was interesting I've never ate a burger that has shrimp in it, pretty mild and not very spicy, which was perfect in my opinion. In about an hour, we noticed the restaurant was starting to get busier with more tables filling up both on the lanai and in the main dining area as well as at the bar. Our server was punctual without having to flag her down, almost every 10-15 minutes she's at the table checking up on us, every time our glasses were less than half full, she'd immediately asked us for another round. Good impressions are when the manager comes by to ask how our food was and to thank us for being customers today. Something that isn't really expected but is greatly appreciated in the F&B industry. I believe, and I can't exactly recall, but he may have visited the table more than once. I wish there was live music, which it doesn't start up until 9pm, a little disappointed being that it's a restaurant dedicated to a music genre. Here's a fun fact, many years ago when HRC was in it's original location on Kapiolani Blvd & Kalakaua Ave, I threw a surprise birthday party for my other half. I blocked out the whole entire lanai area, hired a dee-jay, brought in my own table decorations, entertainment, almost 80 people on the guest list, with a simple 3 choice entree with a bar set up for his party!
