    raspberry bowtie, chia pudding

This is the hottest new-to-me café & cowork spot in SF, and it's not too far of a commute for the win. I was the first of my group to arrive, and I wasn't really feeling more caffeine, so I opted to try some of their foods instead. I got a chia pudding (or possibly overnight oats) from the grab n go cooler and ordered a raspberry bowtie pastry. The staff heated up the pastry for me, so it was just right when I tried it after I snagged an empty chair someone had just vacated upstairs. While I'm not typically a fan of fruit pastries, I actually really dig the raspberry preserves filling in the bowtie pastry. As expected of any café with copious space and fast WiFi, Hardware fills up FAST. However, I didn't have to wait too long to secure a vacant seat and later a table for my group of three. Also worth noting that the A/C is turned up high, so it feels almost as cold inside as outside, making it more conducive for short visits rather than long stays. However, since it's pretty conveniently located for me anyway, I could definitely see myself coming here again.

The cafe was suppppppper busy! Like crowded no place to sit for miles. But everyone looked so comfy and were enjoying their time inside the place. I ordered an iced coffee with oat milk. My friend got a chai latte. But we're pretty. They meet the standard and we would come again. The employees, I felt, were so busy with the crowd that it was hard for them to provide exceptional customer service but they tried.

Lovely new coffee shop opened up in the West Portal neighborhood. Excellent coffee and great handout spot. There are lots of spaces to sit including a cool second floor! The coffee menu is fairly standard but the Lattes are great. They serve some pastries but they look like they are brought in from another place. Hopefully, they can add more unique drinks over time. They also serve some alcohol as well. Finally, they have a smaller flower shop inside that is fun to check out.

Latte, chocolate croissant, and lemon cream croissant were fantastic. The pastries were flaky and buttery. Latte was creamy and foamy. The store was amazing.

Some places have software and some places only have hardware. In San Francisco people work with the hardware some with the software and some run with both. In the age of robotics there is a place which has both the software and the hardware with the human touch . You find no robotic arms inside making coffee. You will see human machines dedicated to art of making real coffee for humans. It's located on West Portal and it's called Hardware. On a May stroll I landed on West Portal at the new Hardware location in San Francisco. The location I use to frequently visit was the one at Ghirardelli Square. This space is 10x bigger and also has a flower shop inside on a collaboration with Dasluz. You will also find the essential coffees and also along with matcha and some ice tea and lemonade. I got the iced mocha and it was not too sweet and tasty. It was refreshing as the sun was out on a San Francisco sunny day. They also have baked goods and flakey croissants like some in SF. They also have Pinot Noir by the glass for Don Juan Pinot Noir . Overall Hardware got a huge upgrade. On a hot day in the sun inside they have lemonade which was not " sour" like some in SF and the coffee at Hardware is made by human hands and not "robotic power"they have coffee made with beans and pastries made with "flour"and in the back they have a shop which sell roses along with purple and yellow "flower" Come to West Portal "Hardware "this new coffee shop location is 10x bigger and goes harder than the one at "Ghirardelli Square" I like both but I must "compare "because the West Portal location also has flower shop in the back which in a cafe is very "rare"

Good Matcha Latte, but expensive $8 + extra for Almond Milk (?). At almost $10 for a pretty standard drink is a little shocking. Also the counter person ignored me briefly, and never asked for my order. Another customer had to tell her I was there first. It was a weird experience, and she got my name wrong. I am giving it 3 stars for the cool vibes in the shop and because it is a brand new place and everyone has a bad day. But the experience was less than ideal.

This used to be a hardware store, hence its name. On the outside it looks ordinary. However upon entering, it took me by surprise at how much it has transformed into a beautiful upmarket relaxing coffee place, which could easily be mistaken for a fancy restaurant. The current food menu is a soft menu, so likely more food items may be added The U shape upstairs has great views of the bar and seating area. At the moment it's closed till further notice. This is not just a coffee shop. It combines a small florist, a wine bar, with Hardware merchandise items for sale as well as pastries, sandwiches and salads. Baked goods are delivered from outside and usually sells out. They also have workshops called "SIP & Arrange" . Such a cool idea to optimize the space. The next workshop is coming up soon, on June 4th. Overall, Service was quick and efficient. Coffees were smooth and nicely made. The Kouign Amann was Krispy and caramalized - delicious. WiFi pw available. Looking forward to trying out the food next time.

What a nice spot in west portal! I love the interior of this spot. And it's not just a coffee house. They also have beer and wine. They also have patties and a few food options from their kitchen. A great place to hang and have some bites, coffee and a glass of wine or beer. The floral spot in the back is such a nice touch. The staff working when I came in were so nice. The coffee was yummy also.

It's a really cute coffee shop in West portal. I really enjoyed the raspberry bow pastry but I was a little disappointed in my strawberry slushy. It was very watery and wasn't as fresh. However, I love the vibe of the place and they have a lot of fresh flowers that we can buy from. Also, I love how locals would come in -- there was a group that was doing watercolor painting, some were working and some was just hanging out with friends. I will come back and try their coffee drinks again and their food options

Love the vibe here! A popular spot with people working on laptops, studying, reading, and catching up over coffee and food. I got an Americano and an almond croissant, which is sourced from Le Carousel in San Francisco. Beautiful flowers at the entrance, with more floral touches in the back.

What a cute cafe!! Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I saw there was a line out the door, which made sense for a newer cafe on a Saturday at around 11:30am. The line went by relatively quick and we found a table very easily. The layout is cool! I didn't get the sit on the top floor this time but I'll be back. We ordered two lattes, salmon toast and a breakfast sandwich. The food came out in about 5ish mins - fast! Prices for the drinks and food were average San Francisco prices, but the portions were surprising. The sandwich was very hefty and filling. Both dishes came with a spring salad on the side. That was a nice touch! Service was nice and attentive. The flower shop in the back of the cafe is a unique touch! The bouquets are verrrry pricey, unfortunately.

    Lots of love and sweetness.

There were lot of people for their soft opening . The display of food was beautiful. Lots of pastries. The place is clean . Everyone was enjoying themselves and having fun with the coffee and their offerings. The cashiers were so busy and friendly. The place was clean even though it was crowded. And don't forget the Flower shop in the back. The arrangements were very nice and clean , very Springy. I will be back for their regular menu.

I had specifically ordered from Diosa because of how beautiful and whimsical the floral designs were on their Instagram and their website. I had even paid the extra delivery fee to get this delivered outside their service area because I was happy to support this small business! But what I got was a sad average looking floral arrangement that I could have gotten from a grocery store (see picture). This is certainly not the value of a $135 arrangement that is depicted on their website. Additionally, their website says that they include a hand written card. I wasn't expecting an actual big folded card with envelope, but at the very least I expected it on a blank notecard?I certainly wasn't not expecting the note to be on their business flyer which I find to be a little tactless, considering how I emphasized that these were exciting congratulatory flowers being sent to a professional office when placing my order with them over phone. I even asked if the medium was a good size to send since the large vase arrangement looked really huge on the website. And they assured me that the arrangement would be about 1.5/2 feet tall. As you can see from my photo this was not even 1 foot tall. I would have gladly paid for the large vase arrangement if it meant a more impressive floral arrangement. But sadly I don't think I would have gotten anything better if I ordered the large vase arrangement. I understand that flowers are seasonal and I wasn't going to get exactly what they have on their website. But the arrangement I received isn't even in the same realm of the arrangements on their site and Instagram. I will say their customer service was good and they were able to deliver. But I definitely won't be ordering from here again. Total bummer since I was really hoping to support them again in the future.

They then gave me a box to hold the flowers with the vase. There was a cute note on the box saying that if you return it, you'll get a free rose. I honestly thought it would be just a single rose, but when I came back, they surprised me with a large, gorgeous pink rose, along with baby's breath and rose foliage, and all wrapped so nicely. It felt generous and genuinely thoughtful, not performative. The flowers are beautiful, but what stood out to me most was the care and intention behind everything they do.
