Omggg dare I say best crêpe in SF so far??!! I tried Crêpes A Go Go in North Beach, which set the bar, and I hit up Genki in the Richmond, which was truly terrible, but Holy Crêpe might just be my third time's a charm experience. On the way to Holy Crepe, I kept debating whether to get pandan or tom yum, but savory won, and I'm so glad it did! The pictures on Yelp and on the Square ordering site reallyyy don't do the crêpes here justice. I ordered the soft rather than crispy version of the crêpe (love that it's an option here to choose btw the two!), and it was absolutely perfect - nicely soft and pliable on the inside but not so thin that it could fall apart and with a satisfyingly crunchy edge lightly coated with melted cheese. Also worth noting that when I received it from the nice guy running the shop, it was piping hot having just been removed from the crêpe griddle to the point I could barely hold onto it, and it was stuffed full. All the ingredients were super well cooked and hot through the middle, even the onions! While the prices are marginally higher here compared to other creperies, it's 100% worth imo because the quality is unparalleled elsewhere. All my friends know it takes a LOT to impress me when it comes to food, but this place actually hit the mark, and I can't wait to come back for pandan next time! read more

Watch what you order. Spotted this relatively new place and wanted a snack. My usual at these Asian/Japanese style crepe places is ham, egg, and cheese. But I noticed Okonomiyaki as a more premium option and thought that could be interesting as a crepe. Ordered it in a sleeve. Got it and the flavor wasn't bad, but it did not work as a sleeve crepe. Was mushy and not crisp (they didn't offer "crunch level" at the time). It was difficult to eat and unpleasant. I should have stayed with ham and cheese. Or else, had it put in a box. Dubai Chocolate is one of my favorite food trends, so as soon as I saw Holy Crepe had it on the menu, I knew I had to stop by. The shop is small but super cute, the cat neon sign immediately caught my attention. It was pretty hot inside while they were making the crepes, but thankfully the SF weather made it easy to wait outside. The staff was incredibly sweet and had no problem swapping the ice cream in my order. She was running the whole shop by herself but still stayed friendly and welcoming the entire time. I ordered the Dubai Chocolate crepe, and it was massive. The crepe itself was crisp (I usually prefer softer crepes, but I get why they make it this way since it holds all the fillings better). The whipped cream tasted homemade, the strawberries were fresh, and they were very generous with the pistachio cream and crispy kataifi. It was basically a Dubai Chocolate lover's dream. We were craving something sweet and the Pandan Coconut crepe caught my attention. We placed our orders on the kiosk - Pandan Coconut and Thai Tea crepes. We watched as our crepes were being prepared. Choice of crispy or soft crepe, as well as crepe sleeve of box. We asked for boxes since we were taking them home as seating was limited. For the boxes, the ice cream and the whipped cream are packaged separately from the crepe. We did notice that the ones served in the sleeve had a BIG scoop of ice cream and quite a bit of whipped cream. To us, the ones in the boxes were not as big but still good sized portions. Holy Crepe, these are tasty! My wife and I stopped by prior to going to the botanical garden as we were in the mood for a snack before our walk. We stopped by this place after getting off the MUNI. The shop is small but it's big enough for people to sit and eat your crepe before embarking on the next steps of your journey. The guy working the front was nice and patient. I think he may have realized it was our first time. We ordered the Pandan Coconut and the Dubai chocolate crepes. The Pandan Coconut had good flavor and melded well with the crepe. The Dubai chocolate was also good but I preferred the Pandan Coconut instead. The only thing about getting a sweet crepe is that after a while it starts to feel like a sugar overload and that's exactly how I felt after having 60% of my crepe. I've been meaning to come here to try their pandan coconut crepe for a while now and I finally was in the area yesterday to try. This might be the best crepe in SF!! If you love Khao Tiew's kaya toast, then this is essentially that but better and (in a crepe form, obviously). In-between each layer of the crepe surrounding the coconut ice cream is pandan custard and Biscoff crumble that add a wonderful texture. As someone who loves soft Japanese crepes, I'm so happy I found this crepe spot!! It's a small place with 6 seats inside. There's a lot of room for improvement but for almost $40 for 2 crepes, you need to make them correctly and I should be able to eat them. My hands were sooooo sticky and gross after.
