Non English speaker who forgot a simple request for mayo so we could try to choke down our chicken sandwich. Food was uniquely terrible. Chicken sandwich was small for $21 and I swear it was frozen and microwaved prior to bringing out to the table. It was so dry and obviously over microwaved, but we did not say anything we just asked for mayo to try to chock it down, but the mayo never came. This is an overpriced venue that cannot even get bar food right. For the price, food quality, lackluster service, too loud music, and obstructed view, do yourself a favor and go to the Tiki Bar at the Galleon for picture perfect sunsets, followed by dinner on the marina. Spent over 2 weeks here this time and have each June for the past 20. Last year I met my Son and Daughter in law there for drinks but did not eat. Tonight is our last night here and I wanted to do something different with my girlfriend. Should have taken my own advice and stayed at the Galleon. In fact, happy hour is already on the list for our next visit. The sangria was so good that we may have lost track of how many glasses we had. The tapas format made it easy to try a variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was flavorful and well prepared. There wasn't a single plate that made us wish we'd ordered something else. What I liked most was how relaxed everything felt. We took our time, shared dishes, drank sangria, and enjoyed the afternoon without feeling rushed. The best breakfast in Key West! This place is small but cute and not only serves breakfast but meals all day. They also have alcohol to purchase and their restaurant swag for purchase. They do have limited outdoor seating that gives you a street view of Mac Sea Shop and the trolleys coming back and forth for the tours. Across the street you can also go to the boardwalk for a nice ocean view. I ordered the pork chop (2), eggs and home fries and it was absolutely delicious. All seasoned well and cooked properly. I really loved the potatoes, they weren't roasted and dried out. I think they used the baby red potatoes and left the skin on just how I like it. Prices were great compared to portion size. Just remember this is a cash only place so be prepared OR face the ATM fee that's waiting for you upon entry. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the keys! read more

Despite a raging stomach flu, I enjoyed Harpoon Harry's for breakfast. We both got the Heaping Harry, a mound of chunk fries, eggs, melted cheese, ham and sausage gravy smothering the whole thing. Delish! If you want a table, expect to wait for a table if you arrive at 9am, like we did. We at at the counter and liked it very much. It got is seated immediately. The decor is cute, whatever antique nic-nac that struck the owners fancy. They also serve package liquor, which doesn't make them much different from several places on the block, but makes it a bit of a one stop shop and allows them to serve Mimosa's, Bloody Mary's and something called a Bloody Harry, the sound of which I don't like a bit. read more

Came into Harpoon Harry's today breakfast, sat at the counter. I politely requested of the cashier to change the TV channel from a popular right wing infotainment to anything else. The cashier curtly TOLD me it stays on that mouthpiece of the maga community. Very disturbing that a business owner deems it their job to indoctrinate the uneducated with the alternative universe full of hate & lies. They had mediocre coffee, water tasting like it was straight from the sink, and waitresses with poor attitudes. My family and I order our food and watched as families around us walked in and ordered, received, and left. After an hour of us getting refill after refill of coffee, the waitress came out to tell us that she lost our ticket but she said in a very snappy and attitude filled way. The green beans were crisp with delicate seasoning, served alongside a balsamic glaze dipping sauce that complemented without overpowering. Service Service was attentive throughout the evening. The outdoor patio in the back leans more casual. My husband had the grouper sandwich it was massive, on fresh crunchy bread with some sort of lime sauce and caramelized onions. Absolutely delicious. Everyone loved their food. Portions are great and the servers are awesome. A lady came around frequently refilling our water cups without us having to ask which was really nice considering our large group with a bunch of kids. The view is also gorgeous right on the water you can watch the sunset. We come to Key West 1-2 times a year but this was our first time at Lolita's and we will definitely be back!

I ordered their iced coffee w/lavender which hit just right. Loved that they accommodated the dietary needs of our party & were not hesitant to serve it up w/a smile. They also have a cute seating area that is very shaded & in the part of the keys that is more laid back & lowkey!
