We decided to try this location as the one closer to home seems to always be packed.. Just as packed but has more booths so that was a plus. The cashiers seemed to give a rude attitude and we weren't greeted when we walked in. We usually order breakfast, but this time we went for their lunch special which was a good deal - avocado burger, fries, and drink for 8bucks.. Loved that they had TV and they had on the World Cup games on!! The wait for our order was about 25 minutes... Kinda long wait don't you think?? And they forgot our order of sauces on the side... I wish I had taken pictures but I was starving and I didn't take the time to do so. My boyfriend and I had lunch here and I ordered a bacon avocado cheeseburger and he ordered a pastrami sandwich combo. The staff was very friendly they were following the 6 feet apart distancing. Because it was in orange county there was also indoor dining which was nice because I live in LA county But my boyfriend works in orange county. Our order came out quick and hot and it was very good. I feel like the prices are a little too high but other than that that's the only thing that I have a complaint about. read more

Fast convenient good food. I rarely eat out, but on those occasions when I need a good meal fast, Harry's is my go to place. The staff is also fast and friendly. I just had one of their breakfast burritos early in the morning and I am set until late in the afternoon. It huge, filled with honest ingredients. Coffee is good too. The carne asada burrito was so hard to eat... the meat tasted so old and it was so chewy with so much fat in it, they didn't even bother to cut the meat. I kept pulling at the burrito and everything would just fall apart. It was very hard to eat I ended up tossing it. Only giving it 2 stars cause the ladies were very nice. read more

I go here sometimes and they have the best burgers and fries. The fries are always crispy and the perfect amount of salt. The burger is not flooded with sauce and is the perfect size. The portions are good sizes and I eat a lot so this is my favorite part about this place. What an amazing breakfast experience at Harry's. My cashier was super nice and helpful - which was a great way to start the meal off. I ordered French Toast, eggs and Sausage - everything was cooked to perfection. Blanca was the amazing lady who brought out my food and made sure I was taken care of. Tired of In-n-Out, I tried Harry's Café years ago and continue to attend to this day having never left dissatisfied. Harrys Café has terrific tasting food from breakfast to dinner at a very reasonable price. It's also a great alternative from Denny's you order the specials. I found myself torn with rating this place... I figured it was too good for an "A-OK" (three star), and maybe a tad beneath a four star. Upon further deliberation, I have decided that a three star is where it is. Why oh why, you ask? Let me explain my three encounters... My first experience here was very eye opening. I was taken aback by the concept of a triple category of cultures of food. Mediterranean? Mexican? American? All in one?!? Genius! I had a Gyro with fried zucchini. All I can say is that the gyro is not mind blowing but within standards and the zucchini is WELL above portions. My second experience involved a dirty dish rag touching my food. Though there was intention of good service, it DOES NOT compensate for a tinge of buffalo sweat on your omelette. My third experience was redeeming. Good service that seems VERY consistent, a delicious spinach and feta cheese omelette and withing reasonable price. There's something that feels very Goldilocks about how I wrote this. I guess it's a chain, and this one looks like it could be one of the first, lol. All 70s wood panel veneer and dated decorations, but it's cheap and relatively clean. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. I got their chili cheese omelet (hey, don't judge me!) with hash browns and wheat toast. The chili was surprisingly a little spicy and quite good, if you're into the kind of chili that has little teeny minced beef granules, a la Tommy's and the like. I love the food at Harry's! They're always friendly and even know your name when you walk in. I love that they have breakfast even in the middle of the afternoon. I can't tell you how much I love steak and eggs - and their breakfast comes with a generous helping of hash browns. Y-U-M-M-Y-! I just moved right next to this cafe a couple months ago. I've only been in twice since then. The first time I came with my friend we had a great experience. Friendly service, order was placed and promptly completed. We both got bacon burgers and they were delicious. However, this last time was not a pleasant one. I wanted to try something different, so I got a carne asada burrito to go. The lady taking the order didn't seem like she was in a particularly good mood. Two other people ordered before me and they both got their food before mine. Got home and was ready to grub, and again was disappointed. I would absolutely NOT recommend this nose dive not even if you are starving to death. This food has zero flavor! I know what good clean food is and it never fails me. It must be a Californian thing when Californians say food is good well its 90% of the time its not good; do not take food recommendations from Californians because they are used to eating crap. The burger my friend got was also flavorless, how do you mess up a burger and not put any sauce on it??? I purchased French Toast, Fries and Zucchni Fries. Right off I noticed and hated that the fries are the frozen kind. The Zucchni fries were soggy and had no flavor. My French Toast wasn't too bad just loaded down with way too much butter. The cook should be fired and I just paid $18 for crap. I just threw it away. Also the prices online and the actual prices in the joint are completely different. They are considerably higher than they used to be. The only good thing about this place is the tall American hottie who took my order. Aww man I should have just went to Monkey House. I walked into Harry's not expecting much, but to leave with a burger and fries. I must say I was completely taken aback by the level of service here. As soon as you walk in everyone greets you. The cashier was friendly as were the cooks. I placed my order and waited for about five to eight minutes not bad. My order was to go and even though I don't live that far away it was still hot and fresh. The burger wasn't the best I've ever had, but still pretty good. The pricing was average same as anywhere else in the area. I will say the portion was pretty large as I only ate about half before getting full. All in all I'll definitely visit again to try other things on the menu like the breakfast burritos. Overall I give 5 stars for the friendliness, pricing and portions. read more

Just recently found this breakfast place, and I'm really glad I did! I got the Denver Omelette and was completely full because they give you a lot of food for a decent price. I'm a breakfast nut. Tried the steak and eggs this morning. Well grizzle and teriyaki flavored steak. Over cooked eggs and under cooked hash browns. I asked for sour dough and got white bread. Then one of the hired help after bussing tables went outside where we were sitting and had a cigarette and made me choke. It's got potential but the jalapeño condiment container looked gross. Service sent us somebody else's order and we told her it's not ours and she left at the table and said I will be back.... My wife and I had a coupon, so we decided to give them a try. The decor is quaint and the menu enormous. They serve breakfast all day, so that's great. My wife ordered a tuna sandwich and I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. They brought me garlic bread, which as a sandwich bun flattened on the grill with garlic and cheese. It had a good taste, even though it was not visually appealing. They also served me a salad with Italian dressing that I have tasted before. It's the same stuff that you can buy at Smart & Final in a gallon jug. It's not great tasting at all. Then my spaghetti and meatballs arrived. The spaghetti noodles were enormous. My wife suggested that it looks like spaghetti that's been sitting in water for hours. The sauce appeared to be slightly chunky tomato sauce. I sliced a meatball in half and it was cold. Not cold like it's been sitting a few minutes, but cold like it just came out of the refrigerator. These are 1 inch diameter meatballs, so it's pretty easy to warm them up if they try. I took my spaghetti and cold meatballs to the counter and stood there while the cashier watched the cook. And she watched him for a while longer. And then for a while longer. Finally I coughed and she shook her head, as if she were startled from a deep sleep, and I told her the meatballs were cold. She took the plate and microwaved it. My wife ate half of her tuna sandwich and commented that "something" was missing. Over all I can't say much for the place. Even with the coupon I don't think we got our money's worth. read more
