I had been hesitant to try because of how busy they always seem to be on weekends, but I was able to get in on an early Friday morning. And I have to say, I really love the feeling you get being at Harry's. Very well lit and clean, it's welcoming and invites you to stay for a while. Must be partly to due to their Customer Code of Conduct which is proudly displayed at the hostess desk. It's some rules and business practices told to you upfront that surprisingly set the tone for the experience in a good way. It told me that the owners and employees take pride in their business, and that as a visitor to their house I was gonna be taken care of. Everything else was great. Our server was pleasant and helpful with the menu. The food was delicious and well crafted. Chilaquiles had options for red or green salsas, both were tasty. Massive portion and perfect textures on the chips. Churrasco plate had a really yummy and tender marinated steak. And some new potato cheesy pancake that was fun Chicken and waffles were awesome as well. 3/3 on the menu items with fantastic service is an easy 5 star. I'm not a feta girl but the feta and the dipping sauce paired well together. I ordered the spicy chicken platter + 1 waffle (knew I would be taking home leftovers) $17.95 2 boneless spicy chicken thighs 2 eggs hashbrowns or home fries biscuit or toast 1 plain waffle $8.95 The spicy chicken platter was delicious. (The home fries were a bit undercooked for me but good nonetheless). The chicken was perfectly crispy on the inside and tender and juicy on the inside. With a hint of spice. Nice big biscuit too. Waffle was standard - came with butter and syrup. Friend ordered their version of eggs benedict and she said it was delicious. The service was great. The staff was really nice and friendly and worked well as a team. They also seemed to like each other. It is a bit pricey so be prepared. Great portions. I was on my way to another breakfast place and came across Harry's, and decided to try it out. It was on Sunday around 10:30 and it was packed, I recommend calling in to reserve a table. The hosts kind of set a bad taste in my mouth, because they were letting certain individuals in without reservation to be seated immediately. On the wait list I stated I didn't mind seating at the bar, patio, inside, outside or whatever I was flexible. As I was waiting, the host allowed a few Spanish speaking individuals to be seated with no wait. Keep in mind I was a party of 2, which is not many people. When I asked the host about others being seated before those that have been waiting she and a young guy started speaking Spanish about me and acting like they didn't understand my question. I allowed them to finish talking and responded in Spanish and next thing you know I was seated. Very unprofessional in my opinion. We ordered the Pina colada is was very good 9/10. Frozen margarita 8/10 nothing too crazy. Food was super mediocre, eggs didn't taste fresh more like container eggs. Bacon hard, French toast rubbery, grits lumpy. This place gets packed during peak hours on the weekends. Be prepared to wait. But the wait goes quick and it seems they have a very organized system of getting people sat as quickly as possible. Parking can sometimes be impossible in their private lot so it's best to come early. There is street parking but it's hard to come by. The chilaquiles were delicious! So tasty! Worse customer service ever. They made us feel uncomfortable from the get go. We came here to celebrate my sisters bday over brunch. We knew it was a big party (15) but she had made reservations beforehand giving them the size of the party. We all arrived on time but they gave the table away claiming we weren't all there when no one came to check on us after they said they were getting things ready. First woman in a white cardigan seemed annoyed at us and wanted to separate the party in different rooms of the restaurant, claiming they can't put any tables together although we saw 3 separate empty tables in the room that could have accommodated us. All of this and not wanting to give us extra chairs when we decided to try to squeeze together and make it work, having us stand awkwardly in the restaurant. What seemed like the owner, came by not reassuring us either, until they finally caved and scooted the empty table to us.. All of this really had a simple solution but they were so persistent about not wanting to put tables together. I work customer service and know some customers can be entitled and annoying but none of us were being disrespectful at any point. We even felt scorned when the waiter came to drop off drinks screaming the names (understandable it's loud there) but when a friend tried to make sure her cappuccino had almond milk due to her lactose intolerance we were hit with an "idk. CAPPUCCINO!!" It was an uncomfortable experience that only the waiter at the end made better. He was kind and let the little oopsies like spilling champagne feel minor. Given our demographic i'm sure this wouldn't have been such a fuzz otherwise. read more

Located in Midtown on Bagby; never heard of this spot before today but apparently it's pretty popular on weekends. Came by for breakfast; parking is readily available in their lot or on Bagby. Interior is decently spacious and neutral colored; like a more well lit Carraba's. Service is friendly, we were seated immediately. Good feedback for the chicken, steak, and the chilaquiles. Solid 4/5 for the food. Haven't been here on a weekend yet but it'll be a good pick if there wasn't a very long wait. read more

The food was delicious. Service was amazing. One of my favorite things that they do is actually make homemade hash browns. A lot of restaurants use the prepackaged frozen potatoes that they warm up on the skillet or put in the oven or something. You can tell that these potatoes are diced in-house and they add onions and peppers and it just is so delicious. The only thing is, they do have some house rules that I particularly love and agree with, but I'm sure some people will not. So make sure you read that upon arrival. For example, I did see something on there that said that you can't have an exposed midriff. But anyway, very nice area, very nice restaurant and good food overall. read more

I met up with a friend here at around 8am on a Saturday, she got there before me to secure a seat and the food was good. Thankfully parking was NOT too hectic but I noticed as we were leaving that the restaurant was packed with a line outside and no space for parking so I would recommend an early breakfast if you're trying to beat the crowd. Im not a coffee drinker and wanted something warm, the waiter recommended their hot chocolate and I was a little hesitant because I didn't want a packet of hot chocolate mix given to me ( this has happened to me before) waiter insisted that it would be good so I ordered and was not disappointed at all. Very delicious, nice rich chocolate flavor and the whipped cream was Heaven. If you love hot chocolate, you'll love this! The eggs Benedict were okay, I have had better at other places, it may have been the large slice of ham that was underneath it, but over all the breakfast was good. Our server, Milena M., seemed either new or overwhelmed, resulting in a 50-minute wait for a simple All-American breakfast with bacon. (I arrived and was on the waitlist at 10:30 AM check-in and did not receive any food till around 11:30. )Despite being reminded twice by the host staff, she failed to check on our table. My wait staff was off wandering around, trying to figure out how to use the checkout system at the counter, being confused and frustrated as we sat there and watched her and then she went back to the large group never coming back over to our table. We complained twice and on the second go round they had a separate server bring us some food. This was purely embarrassing for me in front of my guest as I told her how great this location was. When we finally addressed the extended wait time with her, instead of acknowledging the situation, she became defensive and claimed the delay was due to kitchen backup. As a frequent patron, I know your breakfast service is typically very efficient, making this explanation particularly concerning. I expressed my disappointment with a reduced tip of $2. While I understand everyone needs training, I respectfully request not to be seated in sections with staff in training, as they may struggle with restaurant systems and processes. More importantly, when things go wrong, they should feel empowered to ask for help rather than becoming defensive with customers. This was my first time visiting Harry's. I was not familiar with how popular it was and I don't like wait times but my friend and I decided to stay. And boy am I glad I stayed! Once we received it, I really appreciated the level of service. We had the great quality of food the recommendations the overall atmosphere of the establishment and I will say That I have the lamb chops for breakfast and they were amazing. I will say this it was busy but I've been here before busy and didn't receive this service I believe they were over whelmed so took about a lil over 2 hours for us to start eating. Today was my first experience at Harry's and it was absolutely amazing. When I first walked in, I loved the little sign with some of the "rules", my favorite one mentioning kindness and being polite. The hostess was really welcoming and instantly sat my friend and I. The atmosphere was pretty busy but calm for a Monday. It was really really clean which I appreciated. The menu has lots of options but the most exciting part is the breakfast. My server Donnely was super helpful and really sweet. She made awesome suggestions and was very attentive throughout. As far as the breakfast, the French toast was AMAZING, it tastes like I made it at home. The home fries were super tasty. Everything was hot, it was great. I was really impressed with the quality of the food and how quickly it came out. The Caffeinated Greek was super delicious and I wish I could've taken one home. I could not wait to try Harry's out. They are closed on Tuesday, so I made a return trip on Wednesday. Wow! What a waste of time and money. The waitress was absolutely horrible and the cooks were not far behind. It was obvious English was not her first language nor was she able to comprehend simple requests as in " can I get a napkin", "where is the ladies room", " I would like my meat medium ". Needless to say, my meat was overcooked. When i informed her of the dissatisfaction, she did her best to find " pink" in the meat, yet she failed.
