My best friend recently moved to Arizona and couldn't stop raving about the hash-slinging slasher kitchen in Chandler. Naturally we insisted on squeezing in a flight of mimosas during a 3-hour layover. The fun didn't stop there! We also indulged in a number of breakfast items, including their hash and the quirky Potato Breakfast Tacos. These tacos were piled high with avocado, potato, fried egg, and shredded chicken tinga. Despite having four mimosas, I couldn't stop eying the Bloody Mary bar, which included a buffet of toppings that would bring my Bloody-Mary-loving-father to his knees. This is the third time I've been to this particular location, and always enjoy a lively brunch here as there's a live DJ. Definitely plan ahead as this place fills up and can have a wait. Luckily, they quickly accommodated a party of 7 on a Friday around noon for my team's outing. The food is always delicious, and I was able to find a meat free option though I wish they had more. They could really have some out of this world vegetarian and vegan options like they do their regular entrees. Hash kitchen has to be my favorite spot for brunch! The food is excellent- personally I'd go with any of the hash options, I mean it's in their name! The mimosa flights are also really fun. We ended up with a fish bowl drink last time and that was super tasty and A+ for presentation! The restaurant itself is so cute with decor. The walls all have fun quotes on them and on weekends they have a DJ playing some of the best music. Lastly, I recommend getting there early on the weekends. If it's past 11am you are prob going to be waiting a while. I have been very impressed with how quickly the staff turns the tables over and how quick and attentive they are, despite them always being so busy when I'm there. I am pretty disappointed with the 50/50 burger and the captain crunch peanut butter jelly sandwich. When I saw they had 50 % ground bacon in a burger, I was very excited. I've had 50% grounded brisket in a burger and it was out of this world! This burger tasted plain. The combination of pepper jack cheese, egg and a brioche bun still was not able to salvage the burger. The captain crunch peanut butter jelly sandwich lacked the captain crunch flavor I was paying for. I love peanut butter and jelly so it wasn't a complete waste. There are many more dishes on the menu that caught my eye but I'm very hesitant to try anything else read more

We waited about 15 minutes to be seated because the place was packed for a Thursday morning. To the right...they have a Bloody Mary bar & a DJ. It's definitely a fun place for breakfast and brunch, so many choices making it hard to choose so I had 2 breakfasts lmao. I had the herb fried chicken & waffles and the pineapple upside down pancakes. Hubby had the hangover short rib hash, and bestie had biscuits and gravy. For drinks we had white claw disco ball and Reese's peanut butter cup CBD cold drink. Everything food wise was super phenomenal on here. You couldn't go wrong with anything and all the drinks are so super fun that you just have to come back and try the other things like the flights. Know that if you're coming here, especially with a large group either make reservations or show up early. We still had to wait 40 minutes just to get in. Hash is kind of a staple of the Chandler area. From the moment you walk in the door it's obviously trendy and hip and comfortable. The place is always busy but if you go at the right time the wait can be pretty short, I think for lunch on a weekday about 20 mins. The menu still includes the Bloody Mary bar and Mimosa flights that my friends enjoyed. I ordered the potato breakfast tacos with chicken and OMG the serving was massive! I was only able to eat one taco. Be prepared because it is a little pricey. For my breakfast tacos and iced coffee my bill for myself was about $28 before tip. Also, don't bother trying to park out front. I was almost hit by a wanna be tycoon in a Porsche. Just park across the lot and walk over. I received a message from my partner that one of the servers; skinny and Colombian/Hispanic, had made her extremely uncomfortable. Today I ate breakfast at Hash Kitchen and had their AList scrambler with potatoes and ice coffee. It was delicious and the ice coffee was good too. Very comfortable booth. It was very clean. Had a nice atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and gave great service. She even ask if I would like an ice coffee to go. The only downside was the portions were small compared to other breakfast restaurants. So that is why I gave it 4 stars otherwise I would recommend it especially if you like Bloody Mary drinks. I'm still lukewarm about this Hash Kitchen and its location. I've been to the other one up north and the vibe & the food just seem to deliver a lot better than the one here. The menu is pretty comprehensive with a lot of things but it's hard to find the right balance of something you want when your not drinking. It seems like most items are missing a compliment to it. (and yes, I know you can go a la cart). This time, I was pretty disappointed with my meal only because I made a request for bacon versus ham in it... had to send it back and on the 2nd time, it still came out with ham in it. I decided to just roll with it and when I got halfway through, I realized I wasn't enjoying it. I did however enjoy the buttermilk pancake I had as a side item. I think my biggest issue was the menu and food items... they just aren't big drawl appealing. Oh, they are "big" but just don't "satisfy" the way that they should. In particular of the avocado toast is my biggest disappointment. Music vibe was loud but didn't bother us as some good tracks were bumpin. Ok so be prepared for a wait here so don't come starving right away... but the wait is so worth it! Second warning, these meals are shareable unless you are starving... so split something and try two things is my suggestion. You won't go home starving... I nabbed the avacado toast and I was surprised there was a balsamic dressing under Meath probably w some oil but it was really good. For the ma mouth size f the bread the size of the egg was a little small but with the pork it was great! Like why haven't I tried this at home great? (Let me start over again, as I have written this review on another restaurant thinking it was this restaurant. Especially, we had to try to remove the un-used coffee mugs that were on the table, which were uneccessary to be. Should have them available, only if people ordered a hot beverage or tea. One thing I noticed though, once my salmon order came, the flies flew in out of nowhere and surrounded our table. It's like who invited these flies? They were attracted to the salmon for sure. Terrific experience today at this Hash Kitchen location in Chandler, including outstanding service from Kiana and a very nice chat with a manager, Usiel. We've been to several different locations around the valley but definitely would rate the experience here the best. The music can be a bit loud at time, so if that's a sensitivity to you it may be worth asking to be seated on the patio (still music, not quite as heart pounding). The portions are quite generous and the menu has a great assortment of breakfast/brunch selections and drinks. The hashes (hence their name) are a trademark and are exceptionally filling. But we really haven't ever disappointed by whatever menu item we choose. Some things like the banana split French toast are just epic to look at. The price makes this not an every day spot for breakfast but it's a great location for a special occasion, out-of-town guests, or when the boss is picking up the tab. Expect a significant wait on the weekends (as is the case with all good breakfast options around here) but weekdays usually have seating available, or at least that has been our experience! read more
