Honestly the food isn't that amazing or anything, plus it's pretty hard to mess up breakfast food in general. The dj with the rave music was a cool novelty the first couple times I went, but it really isn't that enjoyable when you can barely have a conversation.

Love this place. I recently moved to AZ - My family came to visit me from NY and they absolutely loved it as much as I do, including the kids! The food and service were great, but the best part was the ambiance! Such a good time!

1.11.26 - my friend wanted to get some mimosas and I was a bit hungry so we decided to come to Hash Kitchen. It actually wasn't crazy busy and we were able to grab some seats at the bar right away. It was a cold, windy day so luckily the inside bar seats were open. We both ordered mimosa flights and shared the Hashouka (from the limited time menu). Their take on the shakshouka dish included potatoes and it was delicious. I would order it again! Mimosa flights are always nice and they came in these pretty glasses. I can't remember each flavor but the only one I didn't like was blackberry. Guava would be a nice addition. I was buzzed after just 2 but that's because they also gave us a free shot. Can't remember the name of it but it had Midoro in it. Vibe is always fun here, music is always good and service was great!

I came in for brunch and ended up having THE BEST F#*%ING BIRRIA HASH of my life. No exaggeration -- that dish alone could convert a non‑believer. Perfectly seasoned, rich, tender, crispy in all the right places... it was the star of the entire visit. The atmosphere was energetic and fun, exactly what you want from a brunch spot that doesn't take itself too seriously. Music was up, people were vibing, and the whole place had that weekend‑ready buzz. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Not sure if they were slammed or short‑staffed, but it definitely took longer than expected to get drinks and food. That said, everyone was friendly, and once the food hit the table, it was worth the wait. Overall, great experience and seriously good food. I'd come back for that birria hash alone.

It was my first time here, and my sister's too. We really liked the place--the interior is so cool, and the drinks and food were awesome. The one thing I didn't like was that our server rushed us too much. They came to check on us too often while we were in the middle of conversation and even brought the bill before we asked for it.

Visited hash kitchen for brunch on Sunday. We got on the wait-list before going there, highly recommend it as it was quite busy and we still had to wait to be seated. Once seated the server and service was great, the server would come in and check in at a good interval to make sure everything was going well. The food bacon and the biscuits with butter was really good. Also tried the carnitas hash , definitely recommend trying it. The pork was tender, poached egg was slightly cooked more than it should have been. My friends tried the pancakes. Portions were huge and it looked good as well. It does get a little loud in there and they play good music.

My friend told me brunch is her favorite meal and she loves this place and this particular location. So I told her we would meet here for her birthday. It was a really great time. Our waitress was fun, very hospitable, kind, polite and helpful. I ordered the Power Bowl with no mushrooms, brown rice and quinoa. I asked to sub with the smashed potatoes. This was excellent. I would definitely get this again. All the flavors hit home. There is so much on the menu to choose from I have to go back and try the McDrizzle. My friend got that and loved it. There was a live DJ who did a shout out to my friend for her birthday after I asked our waitress to let him know. We got there at 9:30am and it got more lively around 10:30am.

This one definitely missed the mark for us. Not only was the music blasting, the service was very sparse and they were all just kind of nonchalant. We definitely did not feel as welcomed. We had to flag them down for things and they all just kind of seemed busy in a rush each time yet the restaurant was less than half full. The food here is pretty expensive but that about goes the same with most brunch places. Unfortunately we did not think either our of dishes were worth it. I ordered the best birria hash and it was suuuuper oily with the potatoes swimming in oil. I ate the birria and the rest was leftover. This dish was about $20. My partner got the fruity pebbles toast and he said the insides were sticky as if it weren't cooked all the way through. This dish was a whopping $18 for a toast!!!!! I decided the $8 billionaires bacon was the best part out of the 3 which was kind of unfortunate because we were really excited for the brunch entrees! Unfortunately I do not think we will be back in the meantime....

Every single time we visit this hash kitchen, it is absolutely delicious food and the service and ambiance is top tier. My kids, 13 & 7, love it as well. It has something for everyone! I always recommend them when someone asks for a local brunch spot. I regularly choose the Birria Hash as my dish. It is soooo good, beyond words really. I find an over easy egg to be best with it, but all the components of the meal really ensure that anyway you customize your egg on top, it'll still be divine. Highly recommend this spot.

I went for brunch the other day and it was lovely. I've been to this location before and this experience was much quieter which was wonderful. The menu changed since the last time I was here and my favorite item is gone :( There were so many great options on the menu though which made it hard to choose. I went for the Cubano scramble today and it was tasty. One issue I found upon eating the rest at home was one potato was hard/uncooked. Otherwise the rest was great. I love the ambiance and decor of this place as well. Also, our server was wonderful as well and he wanted to ensure everything was going well and prepared right.

GREAT BRUNCH SPOT! If you need a fun place to go for brunch where the vibes are amazing (shout out to the DJ!!!!) and the servers are even more amazing definitely go here! I also learned they just changed the menu 2 days ago. I love a restaurant that's continuously making improvements and reinventing. I don't believe they do reservations so about 20 mins before my friend and I arrived I joined their waitlist. I didn't realize you still have to check in after joining on the site but still may be good to go join. We only waited about 7 mins inside after checking in at the desk. We were quickly greeted (which I love) and the server, I can't remember his name was amazing! He had awesome recommendations and was so attentive. I got the mimosa and it was delicious. For our brunch she got the matcha pancakes (2 people can DEFINITELY share this) and I got the chilaquiles. I will admit the only reason this place got 4 stars was because even though the chilaquiles was DELICIOUS I mean the flavor was AMAZING. The tortilla chips were so soggy . Super disappointing but the meal was honestly still so delicious, I was upset but still ate it because the flavors were so good. I'd definitely recommend you get them but maybe ask that the chips are crunchy. Overall this place is reasonably priced and I will DEFINITELY be coming back for brunch again. Also, I had no idea they had a mobile app but my server told me if you download it you can get a mimosa for like $7 off I think AND the more you spend the more freebies you get so definitely take advantage of that. WE LOVE A GOOD DEAL! Great brunch spot and I'll be back.... With the mobile app downloaded!

    Eggo™ Brunch Shot

Hash Kitchen in Chandler has been one of my all-time favorite brunch spots ever since they opened a couple of years ago--and they continue to deliver every single time. I recently came in after a post-birthday night out in need of recovery (as one does), and there's truly no better cure than a hearty, savory brunch. From the start, the experience was such a vibe. Our server asked if I was celebrating anything, and next thing I know, the DJ is giving me a birthday shout-out in between spinning absolute bangers. Such a fun and unexpected touch! I also got to redeem a free confetti pancake stack for my birthday--complete with a candle. So sweet, literally and figuratively. To kick things off, I ordered the EGGO™ Brunch Shot, made with Sugarlands "Eggo Brunch in a Jar" Sippin' Cream and garnished with crispy bacon. I didn't expect it to be that good--but it was smooth, slightly sweet, and I could've easily had a few more rounds. For my main, I went with the Breakfast Nacho Hash: tortilla chips piled high with chorizo, refried beans, chipotle cheese sauce, salsa roja, crema, queso fresco, and more. I accidentally added chicken tinga because I wasn't reading carefully--but honestly, it ended up being a happy accident. It added even more flavor and heat, and I loved every bite. My boyfriend got the Cristina's Tamale Cakes, which came with sweet corn cakes, green chile pork, poached eggs, and green chile hollandaise--plus Hash browns and an added side of birria. I'm not even big on eggs Benedict usually, but I was thoroughly impressed. The confetti birthday pancake stack was the perfect sweet ending to my weekend. Hash Kitchen is always a good time--delicious food, great service, and a fun atmosphere with DJs and good energy. It's a brunch spot that never misses.

Went here for Saturday brunch and it was sooo fun and a vibe. We were able to get a table without waiting! There was a DJ and the staff was so upbeat. I especially loved the build your own Bloody Mary bar. The brunch menu is also great with plenty of sweet and savory options. Don't skip the million dollar bacon either! I'll plan to come back when I'm in town!

I was super stoked to check a place with "retro" in the name out, and I gotta be honest here, I left with pretty mixed emotions about a lot of things. The restaurant itself is pretty boring inside, mostly just being black with a few small pictures hanging up. I was kind of expecting big retro movie posters or something hanging around, but I definitely didn't get much of a retro vibe from this place minus a small neon "bar" sign and a claw machine in the corner. The menus were very cool, right by the front door its a record shelf and the records were the menus, so thumbs up for that idea. I thought i was mistaken, but I don't remember seeing sandwich prices on the actual menu, but as I look at other photos on yelp it does appear that the sandwiches don't have prices attached to them, which explains why I was thrown off by the end price. I settled on ordering the "take on me" which was black forest ham, roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and mayo on a Hawaiian style roll. I also ordered a sprite and a chocolate chip cookie as a side. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, pretty standard cookie though definitely not worth $3.75. The sprite was $2.99, and the sandwich came to $15.58. I was also charged $0.96 for something called the advantage program which I have no idea what that is. I gotta say, spending over $25 on a sandwich, a small cookie, and a drink is not something I would care to do at a place like this. The sandwich itself was very good, I won't deny that. The meat tasted fresh, and when it was all together it was definitely a good sandwich, but when there's not combo option and a basic sandwich, cookie, and drink ends up being $25 it's gonna be a no from me on returning in the future. Overall, I really wanted to love this place for the name, but the lack of much decorations and prices left something to be desired. The food itself was good, but not worth what was spent.

Today I stopped by after work and the patio wasn't as full, but there was a good size group gathered outside. They also offer a wide variety of Asian goods such as Vietnamese coffee you can make at home, spam, pastries, and a variety of chips you can't find in a regular grocery store. The prices for these banh mi sandwiches are very reasonable. One sandwich costs around $9. You can cut it in half and split it into 2 which is a deal! STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND READ THIS--Portillo's at 7200 W Ray Rd in Chandler Has Just Redefined…read more"Heaven on a Plate" with the BIG BEEF DIPPED and That CHEESE SAUCE... OMG! I've had Italian Beef before. I've loved Italian Beef before. But nothing--NOTHING--prepared me for the transcendent, jaw-dropping, flavor-explosion experience that is ordering the Big Beef DIPPED at this Chandler location. If you haven't done it yet, you haven't lived. And if you've had it elsewhere but haven't had it here with their cheese sauce... well, buckle up, because you're about to discover your new favorite thing on the entire planet. From the second you walk into Portillo's on Ray Road, you can smell the magic--crisp sport peppers, rich au jus, and that unmistakable aroma of slow-roasted beef that makes your stomach growl instantly. But the real moment of truth comes when you look that server in the eye and say: "I'll take the Big Beef, DIPPED, LOADED with cheese sauce. And I mean loaded." Watch their face light up--they know. They understand. This is not just a sandwich; it's a ritual, and this location performs it with reverence. Then it arrives. Oh. My. Goodness. The bread is drenched--and I mean perfectly, gloriously drenched--in that deep, savory au jus, so every inch is saturated with rich, beefy flavor. It's not soggy; it's luscious. It's a sponge for joy. And then... the cheese sauce. Sweet, spicy, velvety, liquid gold--it's like someone took pepper jack, dreams, and a touch of heaven and whipped it into a creamy, molten ribbon that cascades over every millimeter of that dipped bread and tender, shreddy beef. The first bite is not just a meal--it's a religious experience. The crunch of the giardiniera, the pop of a sport pepper, the warm, juicy beef, the cheese sauce pulling in golden strands... it's an OMG moment so intense you might actually forget your own name for a second. You'll hear yourself making sounds you didn't know you could make. You might cry a little (happy tears). You might order a second one before you've even finished the first. And here's the thing--the Chandler location executes this with flawless, almost artistic precision. The line moves fast, the staff is smiling, and they don't skimp. They don't hold back on the beef, they don't drizzle the cheese sauce like it's an afterthought--they PILE IT ON with pride. You can tell this team lives for these moments. They're not just serving food; they're delivering pure, unadulterated happiness. Even the atmosphere feels electric--like everyone in the room knows they're about to have their day made. You'll see strangers nodding at each other in mutual respect over their sandwiches. You'll hear "OMG!" echoed across the dining room (seriously). And when you finish that Big Beef Dipped--cheese sauce glistening on every corner, not a drop of au jus left--you'll sit back with a food coma smile so wide it hurts, already plotting your next visit. Bottom line: If you are within 50 miles of 7200 W Ray Rd, you have no excuse. Go. Right now. Order the Big Beef DIPPED with EXTRA cheese sauce. Thank me later. And maybe bring a napkin--because that cheese sauce is so good, you're going to want to lick every last drop off your fingers. Five stars? Try FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS PLUS A STANDING OVATION! This is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to be this good.

Grilled chicken is an add-on, which I paid for, so that was frustrating. I got back in line to fix it. The remake came with no chicken and no blue cheese, but I'd already put dressing on the first one and could see where someone had picked the blue cheese out. Still no chicken either time. Today I tried the drive-thru. No one was taking orders at the speaker. After about five minutes I pulled up to the window and waited another five. Nobody came out or acknowledged me, so I left. I get why other Portillo's locations have lines around the block and this one doesn't. It feels mismanaged and like the staff just doesn't care. Shorter, review-site friendly version Two bad visits in a row at this Portillo's. 1. Ordered a chopped salad with grilled chicken, no blue cheese. Got blue cheese, no chicken. The remake had no blue cheese but still no chicken, and you could tell the cheese had been picked out of the original. 2. Drive-thru today: no one at the speaker for 5 minutes. Pulled to the window, waited another 5 minutes. No response, so I left. Other Portillo's are packed for a reason. This location seems mismanaged and understaffed.

Before even stepping into the building, I was excited because the outside looked like something from a Western movie. There was plenty of parking, and from the parking lot being majority-filled, I knew this would be a good stop. You can also see the outdoor seating from the parking lot, and it was filled with a couple families. The walk in directs you straight to the smokehouse/restaurant. You order at the counter, and then you either get a seat number and choose a seat or wait at the counter for pick up. There was a decent sized menu of bbq options, sides and drinks. The dessert display was filled with what looked to be DELECTABLE goodies! :) (this is what I'd try when I come back, FOR SURE!). I ordered the double meat platter with a half rack of ribs and brisket. The sides were chose were baked beans and Mac and cheese. The platter came with the two rolls, as well. This was to share with one other person. I'd say the ribs were okay, not my favorite! The brisket, on the other hand, had a PERFECT Smokey taste. The Mac and cheese was okay and so were the baked beans (they were super sweet, if that's what you're going for!). Add the regular bbq sauce on the side for dipping and you've got a tasty meal! After dining, we were able to go around the antique shop in the back. It was HUGE! And it kept GOING AND GOING! There here vendors of all sorts from furniture to home goods to jewelry to clothes/shoes. There's a little something for everyone here! There was even a hidden (I guess not hidden if you know about it), second hand, vintage clothing store in the very back. I didn't walk out with anything, but it was as worth the window shopping! The exit was through the antique shop near the cash wrap. Overall, the experience was lovely. The food was in the mid range for me, but I'd come back for dessert and the shopping.

I had to fight for my food, lol. Cute chair swings outside seating. Don't forget to grab utensils and sauces before seating. Yeah, I forgot. I came inside placed my order and was given a number, it is open seating. Staff recommended the beef brisket or pulled pork as their popular menu items. I went with the beef brisket. The sandwich didn't look as good as it tasted once I added the spicy bbq sauce. I combined the spicy with original testing the hotness. It was mild. The spicy taste the best. The sandwich came with a pickle and coleslaw. All was delish. I haven't had an Italian cream soda in so long! I ordered raspberry. Staff advised the strawberry is the most popular. I liked that it was not overwhelmingly sweet. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese. It was delish too. I like they slightly burn the cheese on top, gives it a smoky flavor.
