I was very excited to try this place, but my experience was disappointing. I visited on a Saturday when it wasn't too busy, and we were seated in 10 minutes. However, it took 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken and another 10 minutes to receive our drinks. When we informed our waitress that we were ready to order, she said she would be back shortly, but we had to wait several more minutes. Our food arrived 40 minutes later, and it was cold. I politely asked the waitress if she could heat it up, she took our food and never came back with it. After waiting an additional 30 minutes, I asked her to cancel the order and just let us pay for the drinks. She said okay let me get your check and took 10 more minutes to finally pay and leave. Throughout this ordeal, she didn't apologize or acknowledge the poor service. It's disappointing because we were patient, but due to this experience, I won't be coming back. read more

I am just dying to give this place 5 stars-6stars if I could. We visited last Saturday and were so excited about the pictures we saw online! When we walked in I swear they had 5 hostess! We were seated instantly. Now here is where they started to lose us. We sat at our table (booth/table) in the very center of the restaurant for at least 7 minutes without anyone saying a word to us. There were so many people standing around walking past us no one checked on us. We finally asked a buss boy for our waitress. She came to the table but never apologized for our wait. Overall she was ok-decent at best. Overall the entire wait/host staff didn't look super stoked to be there. It was a new restaurant with a DJ during brunch and the place is over the top gorgeous. If the team looked halfway as enthused to be there I could have honestly forgotten about my wait and it would have made up for it. BUT -what did make up for it was the champagne flight with cotton candy bomb and the Elote Benedict! Chefs kiss! Food was stupid good! Champagne flight are four full glasses of insanely delicious mimosas We also had the Bloody Mary bar and I was hoping for the donut bar but never saw one. So here's the takeaway...try it! Go! You won't be sorry no matter how long your table wait is. Managers-please do some kind of dance/cheer/pump up session before the shifts to get your team on the same level as this awesome restaurant. DJ-turn up the tunes! Staff-maybe dance around and say hi to people! Get people up and encourage them to shake their tail feathers. We had never been here before so we our waitress, Raegan, for her recommendations. I had Chef Joey's banana bread pancakes and they were amazing!!! My husband had the carnitas hash. It is loaded with pork carnitas and the green sauce is delicious. We also had a chocolate decadence coffee that is handmade there. Raegan also suggested the BYOBloddymary. You can add almost too much stuff to it, but she encouraged us to "be greedy" so loaded that bad boy up! Mild was just the right amount or spicy and the bacon vodka was interesting addition. We were there on a Friday so the early morning DJ was new for me, kinda loud but I liked it. Never had brunch at a club before but it was fun!! read more

Not the best choice for people with noise sensitivities or easily overwhelmed with visual stimulation. Fridays there is a DJ and the music is so loud it's impossible to have a conversation with your table mate. When asked to accommodate and turn the music down, we were told "We don't do that here". Food is good but probably won't be back due to unhelpful staff and unwillingness to accommodate. read more

We didn't know what to expect when coming to Hash Kitchen, for example they have a DJ ( if you like the club vibe this place is for you ). The atmosphere is nice but the music is too loud for my liking ( we could barely hear the server talk) we asked a couple of questions that seemed to be misunderstood due to loud the music. The food is over priced and sub par ( once we got it, it took forever to get though) it wasn't hot more like luke warm. The service was great only reason they are getting 3 stars. Loved, loved, loved this place! My niece found Hash Kitchen on social media and five of us went while attending a family reunion in Dallas. The food was excellent and our server Lo was an absolute delight. We loved her too! Portions are substantial. I had the corned beef hash and it was outstanding. My niece raved about the birria hash, the other niece was very happy with her create-your-own scrambler and Glitter Bomb Mimosa, my sister loved the Americano Scrambler, and my nephew devoured the pancakes and bacon. The Canadian Bacon was cold and the poached egg didn't really get drained good so there was water in the Canadianb. But unfortunately the hollandaise sauce was the consistency of lumpy Mayonnaise! My girl friends avacado toast was more just avacado bread... Not really toasted. Over all this restaurant is okay at best. The service was mediocre. I had the Pineapple upside down pancakes a side of bacon (extra charge) and a reese peanut butter cup shooter. The pancakes - without the fresh pineapple would be close to the bottom recommended pancakes I have ever eaten. They taste like bland paste. Large pancakes served with very little syrup, no butter, and bland bland bland. I could have sworn they were supposed to have sort of drizzle (they didn't). Very disappointed over all with them, especially with them costing $17 for pancakes. The bacon. OMG some of the best. these were just the regular bacon and so so good. But for 8$ for three slices, on top of the price of the pancakes... ehhh they won't make me come back. I also tried the Reese's peanut butter shooter. it was good. but tastes nothing like the title. We tried to go to Hash Kitchen today. The Bloody Mary bar looked amazing! We were promptly seated, looked briefly at the menu, then left without orderIng. The noise level was so high that people were having to yell to communicate with their companions. Certainly too loud for a brunch place, more like I'd expect in a dance club. We went next door to Cava, which was by no means quiet, but not nearly so deafening! I'm hoping they address this. I'd like to go back and explore their interesting menu. read more

Went to Hash Kitchen with a friend on a Wednesday at 11am. I am a 55yo working mom, my friend is a 47yo working mom and we were looking for a place to decompress and get away from our teenagers. Wanted to give a few details in case anyone was thinking about going. 1. Lots of kids. LOTS. I was offered a blueberry by a wandering toddler at one point. 2. Very loud, bright, DJ going at 11am Wednesday which is cool (?) but combined with kids felt kinda like a preschool disco. 3. No beer on tap, three kinds in bottles at $7 each. 4. Well gin only, extremely limited bar. 5. Mimosas and Bloody Mary bar looked great but I wanted a martini 6. Two entrees (huge and delicious, avocado toast & pork chop hash), three beers, one small mixed drink = $83 (Bowl of gumbo and Salmon and Crab dinner with Hendricks martini, large beer at Pappadeaux 8 hours later $87) 7. Service was abysmal, like another person on here I had to ask another waiter for water and then enquire as to the whereabouts of our waiter, who then took my drink order (tall jack and diet coke) and brought me a short jack and regular coke. If you're a young SAHM or SAHD with high disposable income and lots of friends similar to you this place may really appeal to you. It feels very much like the same crowd as Truck Yard down the street. Personally - not my vibe, but I don't think it's meant to be and that's OK! Would really benefit from expanding the alcohol selection especially. read more

I don't write reviews, I don't get impressed easily. I was told by a friend about the service being transcendent and, pardon my French, but the service was unrivaled by any other restaurant in the DFW metroplex. When I arrived I was immediately approached with smiles from a hostess named Oliva who, after asking how I was doing, showed me to my table. My server (Nicole) took my order and made sure any need I had was met. I ordered the hangover hash, which was incredibly delicious. After I had finished eating another server (Kathy) checked on me and was jovial with her greeting and kind with her words. As I left my table yet another server (Jordan) asked if there was anything she could do or help me with.
