Music is always too loud! A Chef Joey thing... can't even have a conversation at your table. Turn that shit down man we came to eat not listen to music! Food here is OK but people probably mostly come for the bloody Mary bar, which is pretty nice. We do not frequent it very often maybe once a year. This place is such a vibe. Very high energy, great DJ to set the tone for brunch and goes well with the big portions. The flight was good, I liked the different flavors. The portions were huge so I was able to take some leftovers. The meal I had, was bursting with flavor, the meat was seasoned very well and tender. We arrived just 2-3 minutes before they opened and an employee quickly came to open the door. Staff was super attentive and friendly, explaining the drink menu and showing us the "build your own bloody" bar. Water arrived quickly while we perused the menu. I knew i had to try the bloody and my hubby took a while selecting because so many things looked good. He ended up getting the "side chick" which was GORGEOUS. The chicken was super crispy, the egg was perfectly cooked, the biscuits underneath made we wish i had gotten a plate of them! The potatos were also crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. I went to make my drink and the bartender was friendly and explained my choices. I ended up with jalapeño vodka and chili pepper mixer and two sticks full of different pickles and olives. They had so many choices, including spicy cauliflower, pickled onions, horseradish, bacon on skewers, meats and cheeses, and so many other things! Fun brunch place. Billionaires' bacon was a huge waste of money. It was very good but you only get 2 slices so would not order again. Ordered Carnitas hash to split with my husband and it was plenty of food for two. The salsa was super good. We added an a la carte order of biscuits and they were the real deal. Homemade and delicious. We ate them with butter and jam as a "dessert" with our breakfast. Drip coffee was only ok, but they left a thermos so we could top up ourselves. Bloody Mary bar was fun but a little gimmicky. Most of our party ended up with too much of something in the bottom of their glasses due to the "serve yourself" concept and probably would have been better with a professional hand mixing up the drinks. I have never felt more compelled to leave a negative review than I do after our experience at this restaurant. I have also never felt so disrespected while trying to dine out with my family. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. We were told there would be a 30-minute wait, even though we had called ahead. That was completely fine, we were prepared to wait. After 30 minutes passed, I went inside to ask for an update, as we had two diabetics in our party that needed to eat fairly soon. Instead of offering any clarity, I was told they could not provide an estimated time. They said it could be another 30 minutes, or it could be an hour. There was no effort to be helpful or accommodating. When I explained that we had diabetics with us and needed a general idea of timing, I was told to "go next door and get a snack." WHO SAYS THAT????? That comment was incredibly offensive and dismissive. It showed a complete lack of empathy and basic customer service. There were three staff members involved in this interaction, I believe two hosts and one server. One of the hosts identified himself as Luis. He was so rude! At no point did anyone attempt to resolve the situation or show understanding. We were there to celebrate my cousin's birthday, she had always wanted to try this restaurant, and instead, the experience completely ruined her day. I will never return, nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone. The level of disrespect and rudeness we experienced was unacceptable. If you have family members with medical conditions such as diabetes, I would strongly reconsider dining here. No customer deserves to be treated this way. read more

Nice atmosphere. The service was good, the food was great. Can be a bit loud. Breakfast spots don't need a DJ. Cool Bloody Mary bar made me want one, but I don't care for alchohol. Next time, I might do an alchohol free one and just munch on all of the goodies. I'm kind of surprised that a "Hash" spot didn't offer corned beef. The Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar is fun and full of over-the-top toppings--from m to pickles to corndogs. It's a great concept, but just be aware it's an add-on, not included with your meal. Outside of that, the cocktails feel more like novelty items than well-crafted drinks. The Bomb Pop cocktail tasted like a melted popsicle, and the Welcome to the Jungle came in a Capri Sun-style pouch--which was cute for about 10 seconds before you realized it wasn't all that enjoyable to drink. Overall, the cocktails leaned sweet and juvenile. Now the food... that's where things really fell apart. Out of a table of four, only the chicken and waffles and one avocado toast got a thumbs-up. Everything else? Disappointing. The "Best Fing Birria" was anything but--twice sent back to the kitchen due to an overpowering and off-putting cinnamon flavor that completely overwhelmed the dish. It was beyond saving, and unfortunately, nothing else we tried made up for it. At the end of the day, Hash Kitchen feels more like an Instagram backdrop than a serious brunch spot. It's loud, flashy, and definitely tailored for those chasing TikTok trends rather than a solid, well-executed meal. Would we go back? Not for the food. To be honest I've driven past this place probably hundreds of times but never tried it until recently. It seems like it belongs in Old Town as a typical tourist brunch trap. My wife and I went on a week day and although even at 8a on a Wednesday it feels like you're in Old Town or New Orleans the food was actually surprisingly very good. The music was too loud, but fortunately there wasn't a DJ at the time so I could still somewhat hear my wife speak. I would recommend this restaruant for groups of people who want to party/drink while they eat breakfast/brunch, but probably not great for families. We met some friends here for brunch when we were in AZ for vacation. It's like a club and breakfast spot all in one. The server was friendly and was attentive. My husband got the corned beef hash and loved it. You can tell they make it from scratch. I got the strawberry shortcake from pancake and It was huge. Today was our first visit to Hash Kitchen, surprised my husband and had my fingers crossed that he would be able to order his "go to" breakfast....pancakes & crispy bacon. We were seated promptly by Ashley, the manager and I quietly inquired about the pancakes. She assured me, yes of course. Now I could concentrate on a finding something "different" for myself. I thought I would get something sweet, but.....my eyes locked onto the "Greek Goddess Hash", Lamb & Beef Gyro/ amazing Greek cucumber salad/ mozzarella/ tzatziki hollandaise / pita bread ...comes with crispy smashed potatoes & 2 eggs (I asked for scrambled on the side). The "Goddess" was everything that I was hoping it would be. The unexpected was, what seemed to be mini potatoes that were perfectly crispy on the outside, "smashed" with a light touch and the inside, just silky potato goodness and Tzatziki Hollandaise...which would actually be an excellent "dip".....My husband enjoyed his piping hot pancakes, bacon and extra syrup. He commented that the coffee was really good. Bloody Marys, Mimosas and a full bar for your other beverage choices. This is my second time at hash kitchen and I do believe it's a great "party" brunch place. They have great drinks and the location is fairly close to old town. I just don't love their food not a ton of flavor and I feel like every dish has something similar to the other ones on the menu. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but this whole situation was honestly awful. While I was eating, I felt something sharp in my mouth, and when I pulled it out, it was a piece of metal scrubber wire. It wasn't just sitting on the plate -- it was actually in my mouth while I was chewing. It scared me so much that I went to the bathroom and ended up throwing up. What made it worse was how the staff handled it. When we told the server what happened, she literally giggled like it wasn't a big deal. That honestly made me feel even more uncomfortable, because this could have been dangerous if I swallowed it. The service overall was not good, and it felt like nobody really cared about what happened. All they did was comp the French toast and give us a 20% discount, which didn't feel right considering how awful the whole experience was. I left feeling disappointed, grossed out, and honestly kind of upset.
