Blown away bcuz we just got back from Versailles in little havana and this place is amazing food with very attentive customer service. From the sangria to the deserts. We tried ox tail and mafongo de mariscos. For appetizers we had papas rellenas and fried yucca, were a bite from the past when food was prepared fresh. Dont bother going to little havana the gem of the desert, havan azucar, is hands down best cuban in inland empire. Great music and a menu full of exciting adventures to taste from. Apparently its just completed its 1st anniversary but we plan on making this a sure shot off the mountain communities. The food is a tourist adventure into the taste of the Caribbean. The homemade Arroz con leche demands the space my abuelita used to hold en la cocina. The pastel tres leches was a throwback to the lil abuelitas from glendales original portos. Excellent food at reasonable prices served with a smile in a replaxed casual ambiance! Food is full of flavor and the mojitos are excellent! Accommodating staff set up multiple tables for our larger group. Try the tostonos and any of the chef specials. Great spot and we will be back. read more

For a minute I thought I was in Calle 8 Miami, FL. Great service and delicious food!!!!!

Clean restaurant. I had tostones (fried plantains) and they were soggy and too mature. I had black beans and the flavor wasn't there and i also had the arroz con pollo and again I wasn't blown away by the flavor at all. They need a new cook or they need to redo theyre seasoning methods. The tres leches cake was really the only good thing. If i were to return I would try other things like the ham croquettes and the Cuban sandwich because it would be very difficult to get that wrong. The atmosphere is nice and inviting and service was good. I guess well see if im ever in town what happens if i go again. If i do i will submit another review updating my experience. read more

Went to this restaurant for the second time. Like the first time, the food was great, but service is lacking. Our waiter was friendly enough, we placed our orders and received our drinks without an issue. Our food was brought to us by the other waiter, when we received our meals my wife asked for a condiment, the waiter said he would get it. Our waiter came to our table with a side of something that my wife did not ask for and she repeated what she needed and was nice about it, but he never brought what she wanted. Our waiter never made it back to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. We couldn't get the waiter to even look our direction. Seemed that every time he was possibly coming to our area, a needy woman at a table of 6 kept asking for things and then he would never make it to us. We didn't even get an offer for drink refills during our meal. read more

The flavor wasn't there for me. I grew up eating Cuban food, what with my father and grandparents being born there. I thought the chicken was way over cooked and was disappointed. Arroz con pollo is one of my favorite dishes and ate it about once a week growing up between my house, my grandparents, and cousins houses. The flavor wasn't all there for me but I could be conditioned to my family's cooking. The real issue was the dry chicken. I was delighted to see everything I grew up with on the menu and am still going to try it again, but I'm going to avoid the chicken here as I've read other reviews making the same claim. read more

I heard of this place from work. I'm a traveler nurse from FL and I have had a hard time finding good Latin restaurants that aren't Mexican in California. Well, my Latin heart is happy. I was lucky enough to show up on their buffet day and was able to sample the food. The chicken empanadas and the papa rellena were so good! I also had their white rice, black beans, roasted pork and maduros. Everything was tasty! Can't wait to return and try their mofongo or the paella. read more

We have been about 4 times now and over all thee food is delicious. There are some dish I have enjoyed more than others. The cuban sandwich is spot on with the wonderful bread. All the pork dishes are awesome. Rice , beans and yucca are perfect. Picadillo was not special! It's just nice to have a variety of foods in the high desert. So I have lived in the So Cal area all my life. I am not a habitual Yelper. I only comment and review when it's worth it. Believe me this place, although a little far from home, is well worth it. Versailles is extremely overrated and always a disappointment . I am NOT Cuban but I have friends (some of my closest) I understand the value of a Good Cuban Meal. You will not be disappointed. I had the simple Empanizado de Pechuga and it was insane. Something in the breading and their Mojo is so super tasty . My husband had the Rabo it was delicious and always on the menu, my girlfriend and her Cuban Husband ( who is the one that recommended) had the bistek empanizado and Ropa vieja , We tried the plátanos , tostones , mariquitas and maduros. We also had the Cuban Coffee .... As I'm Writing this Im making myself hungry. . Cant say enough the service was great meals came out quickly the menu is extensive the chef comes Out to say hello !!! tried it for the first time and the food was delicious! we were greeted with feiendly and helpful staff which is always a plus our waiter was very helpful in suggestions that were spot on. we got the paella plate for 2 not only was it good it could have easily fed a family of 4. we also tried the mofongo with shrimps...yum! my 2 little ones had pollo frito with arroz con gandules which they both loved. now mind you these boys will always order pizza or chicken nuggets from yhe kidd menu so i was pleasantly surprised that they cleaned their plates. we tried 2 appetizers for happy hour which were also recommended. we had tostones rellenos and i can't remember the name of it but it was stuffed potato balls. needless to say we took a lot of food home but man was it delicous. i would totally recommend this restuarant. i wish i could remember our wairers name but he surely deserves high marks. i know his name started with a p so i shall call him mr. p. he let us know that it's a family owned restaurant...congrats on running such an excellent restaurant. we wi definently visit again read more
