Wow! Run from this laundry mat. Run-Down. Dirty. No Parking. Cleaning Angry, Nasty, Malicious, Spiteful and Crazy Cleaning Woman with an Assistant aged approximately 14 years old (aren't there child labor laws?! People inside are drug addicts or chain smokers or crazy - mentally ill..... Owner of this laundry mat gets angry if you park in the wrong spot or slightly far to right or left. Owner of this laundry mat will scold you for using Paper Towels vs. the dirty rags she leaves out by her broken down sink. There is also a NOTE: "Don't you dare use paper towels because they are expensive! Many of the upright washers are rusty and dirty and Out Of Order.... 80 percent of the time. Or the ones that are working leave your towels shocked and wet. * * * * * BEWARE OF the Crazy Cleaning Women and Her 14 Year old Assistant!! I had to call the H.B. Police on the older, heavier woman for pouring an unknown liquid in my washer while it was running because she got angry at me. Was the crazy cleaning woman angry at me? There were too many; but, here are a few reasons: 1. I came into the dumpy laundry mat at 9 p.m. Their tattered sign states: LAST LOAD, 9:00 P.M. The crazy, heavy set cleaning woman said, "How dare you come in here to do your laundry at 9 p.m. at night!! She smeared at me (which was pretty scary) and slammed the laundry carts against the wall with a loud thump. Slammed her mop against the stainless washing machines 2. I watched my laundry and went to my car for a second and watched the Older Cleaning Woman hopped on top of the tall stainless steal washes with her tennis shoes... she was pouring small amounts of liquids my washer. I rushed inside to see what she was doing. She hopped off the top of the washer. I just looked at her and she ran back to the closet to get a mop. I KNOW that she poured something into my laundry while washing. 3. She came back and I asked her politely not to pour anything in my laundry as those are MY CLOTHES. She smirked and scoffed and told me off and where to go. 4. Then, she open the top and dumped a Big Dirty Pitcher of an unknown liquid into my laundry!!! I called the HB Police at this point. Citation No. P140xxxxx SHE WAS SCOLDED FOR POUR AN UNKNOWN SUBSTANCE INTO MY WASHER AND ONTO MY CLOTHES. THE POLICE WAITED FOR ME TO PULL MY CLOTHES OUT TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY BLEACH OR OTHER UNKNOWN SUBSTANCE OR DAMANGE. Who knows.... ammonia..... Windex? ? This crazy nasty cleaning women (heavy set) told me that "she is a friend of the owner for over 10 years!" Is this a good qualification for a cleaning woman? She tells customers off and damages your laundry when you are not looking! Can you image anything more SCARY? Run away from this bad business. I believe that you as a Value Customer deserve better than this tatted dumpy drug infested laundry facility! If they treat me bad, they will treat you BAD. Scary Story... Don't you think?? Don't show up late.... the cleaning woman and her 14 year old child assistant wearing flannel pajama bottoms and night slippers will GET YOU. Run. read more

SKETCHY . UNSAFE.  POORLY LIT. UNMONITORED. DIRTY. I've been coming here for a while. THE SHORT: FILTHY, OVERPRICED, SKETCHY, UNSAFE, POORLY LIT, UNMONITORED, BACK DOOR LEADS TO SCARY DARK LOT, STAFF TALK ABOUT CLIENTS, RACCOONS RUN ALONG CEILING PANELS. CLOSES 11:00PM NOT 12:00AM. The fluff and fold service is really weird to watch. The young woman flirts with guys as she's folding some other guy's underwear. While weird explicit romantic mexican music plays on her radio and she sings along. (barf!) "I saw that photo you posted of (place). Looks pretty. I sent you a DM, but you didn't respond...." guy: Silence.....changes subject to: I may be moving, this time, out of the country...LMAO ! THIS.is.WEIRD. I'm sure she's hoping to marry-up and get out of her current life. The laundry is overpriced and never enough water in the tub, even when I fill only half full. The dryers have burnt marks and stickers. The place is FILTHY. Sketchy weirdos show up about 9:00 p.m.. It looks like they went through some some neighbors' mail and were forcing it into their backpack - all under the cover of darkness. WHY are they hanging out in front of this laundry mat -on the regular too. WHY?! ITS DARK AND CREEPY AND UNMONITORED. PERFECT FOR A CRIME. read more

I have been coming here for years, and I've always liked this place but I especially like the new improvements since the new owners took over. It's a good example of a successful business, it has the professionalism and modern technology of a large business (modern touch-less faucets, big flat screen TVs, and FREE high speed WiFi), as well as the personalized care and attention to detail of a small family business. They also improved their already existing Fluff and Fold service by adding a convenient 24-hours drop off window. This used to be a great, clean safe place to wash large blankets. Now it's full of thugs, homeless, junkies and 5150s. I was in the parking lot and there was a shady guy looking under all the cars. He was also carrying a portable saw. They lock the public restroom now because the homeless were shooting up and taking showers in there. There was a couple in the parking lot getting high dancing next their cars playing a a song that kept saying If I WAS A BAD B##ch I'll Wanna F$#%k ME TOO. Talk about reliable. I began using other laundry service when I first moved to Huntington Beach. They lost all of our laundry- over 3k worth of stuff and never heard back from them. So I called Fluff & Fold Lavanderia - they've always cleaned out clothes to perfection, followed any instructions given and are super fast. I can't recommend them enough. I like the fact that they have all payment options: credit card, debt card, check, cash, and ATM machine. I came late last night at 11:30 PM and they were the only one open in the area, I like their extended hours (5:00 AM to 12:00 AM). Pros: Clean, reasonable prices, free detergent, ATM machine, front and back parking, 4 TVs, granite folding tables, and 7 different sizes of washers. Cons: Street sign is not very visible, not 24 HRs (I wish). read more

Great place. Stopped by early in the AM, not many people there. The place was clean. They have lots of machines of all sizes. I used 8 washers and 8 dryers to get my laundry done fast. All machines worked great. I was able to dry half my clothes for 25 cents per machine. Change machine worked. As I was leaving, the lady showed up that worked there and wanted to know if everything was ok and was very friendly. read more

I met the new owners yesterday and I like the changes they are making: 1. extending the fluff and fold hours to be 10-3 and 5-8 Mon - Sat. 2. Providing the pick up and delivery option. Also the new TV channels and Wifi connection. They posted the phone number, email address, and website in many places in the laundromat. Fluff and Fold Lavanderia is an excellent laundry service in Huntington Beach. Employees and owners are friendly, prompt and very reliable. I drop off my laundry out once every two weeks and everything is perfectly folded, and nothing has ever been missing. I tried a few other places but nobody even came close to these people. This place is great. I have been going there since the very first day they opened. Very clean, prices are good, there is always someone to help you and did I mention it's clean. I love the extended hours, they open at 5:00 AM and close at 12:00 AM midnight. That's virtually 24 hrs operation, with the best washers. I tried a couple laundromats in the neighborhood but my clothes didn't come as clean as here. read more
