The owner of that lot was more than willing to work with us and negotiate a price that was fair for both parties. He made the sale not the guy at Ultimate. I cannot recommend going to Ultimate if you are looking for a used car.

While they didn't give ANY wiggle room on the price they did make the deal easy. Life was good until I packed my family of 5 Into my model Y and drove 2.5 hours for a car that was "ready for delivery" they detailed and everything looked good... until I noticed a rock chip on the $2200 windshield . Their excuse was oh that must've just happened and we will fill it. I'm sorry but your service center is closed and I'm 2 1/2 hours away. I'm paying over $45,000 for a used car. The window should be replaced. I looked past that and decided to test drive the car and this is when it got very bad upon acceleration in the car the entire front and shook. You could feel it in the steering wheel and you can hear it on the outside of the car I took it back to the dealer and told them I'm afraid the car may need an axle or some kind of an axle mount. This is a common problem on Tesla model X and these are all tall tail signs. I looked at a few other Teslas, but everything was much more expensive or didn't have what I needed so I ended up driving another 2.5 hours home. They told me they will send the vehicle to Tesla the next day and get whatever needed to be done fixed to take care of me for wasting my time. This was until the next day when they called me and told me they sent it to Tesla and this was totally normal operation.... lol I'm sorry the vehicle violently shaking when I hit the throttle is not normal operation.. This is just an ugly way to run a dealership , having vehicles on their lot that have broken windshields is a safety issue having vehicles on their lot that shake up upon acceleration or safety issues. This vehicle should've never been cleared for delivery. Then once I wasted all my time coming down there, they told me that it was normal operation. I would encourage them to drive one of the other model exes then drive that Model X back to back and tell me it's normal operation is a shady dealership. This is how they do business. No one should go there.

Repeated issues, poor communication, and unreliable service…read more I've been going to Nissan of Hayward for the past two years, and unfortunately most visits have been frustrating. I purchased a used Nissan in 2023 with an extended warranty that is honored by Nissan dealerships, yet this location repeatedly struggled to diagnose issues, handle warranty information correctly, and communicate in a timely manner. I've brought my car in around 6-8 times. I was often told "no issues could be found," only for the same problems to return shortly afterward. Early on, I was charged a diagnostic fee for a battery issue that Nissan couldn't identify, while a third-party mechanic later confirmed the alternator was the cause. Nissan only addressed it after the car had to be towed in again. More recently, I brought the car in for brake noise and Bluetooth/Apple CarPlay issues. While the infotainment problem was acknowledged and eventually covered under warranty, I experienced weeks of inconsistent updates, missed callbacks, and learned that the replacement part had arrived from the Parts Department rather than my service advisor. When I dropped my car off for the scheduled repair, I wasn't told it would be kept over the weekend and only found out late in the day that I wouldn't have it back for several days, causing significant inconvenience. Although a service manager later apologized, there was no follow-up despite multiple attempts to reach out. It's been over 3 months and my issue has still not been resolved. Overall, the lack of communication, inconsistent warranty handling, and repeated service issues have made this dealership difficult to trust. I would not recommend Nissan of Hayward based on my experience.

When we arrived, we were quickly welcomed by the shop's owner and only employee, TJ. He told us about the history of the car and disclosed that the radio wasn't working right off the bat. He let us know that he wouldn't sell the car before fixing the issue and that he was already in the process. He shut down the shop to take us out for a test drive and not once did we feel pressured to purchase the car. When we asked if we could take the car to a mechanic, he offered to take it for us (requiring him again to shut down the shop). After our mechanic assured us that the car was in great shape and TJ worked out the radio, we let him know we were interested in purchasing the car. He happily held on to the car for us despite multiple other offers and worked with our schedule as we are not from the Hayward area. Although TJ was not willing to negotiate the price of the car, we agreed that it was already priced in a great position and appreciated that he was open and honest about fixing the radio. After we purchased the car, we realized there was an issue with the new radio and contacted TJ immediately. He apologized sincerely and helped us fix it, even though our contact listed the car as is. We got to know TJ fairly well throughout our car buying experience and would recommend his business to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle. Turns out a new clutch and resurfaced flywheel did the trick. They were also the only guys that were able to give me proper, knowledgeable feedback on my aftermarket supercharger that was making noise.
