    Complaining couple
    W S.

So, this loud drunk couple sent their steak back twice. The manager and the cook came out but they "insisted" it wasn't cooked correctly, "I don't care what they say, it was t what I wanted". Great experience and good food. Expensive but the views and ambience are great.

Ahh, my final Magical Dining of the season. I'm so sad that it's coming to an end, but I am so happy that it happened. Out of the top six MDM menus that I sifted out, Hemisphere was the only $60 one of the bunch. So expectations were high. Ambiance was insane. The restaurant itself is a giant room with a second story that is loft style, so all the upstairs diners can peek over and spy on the bar patrons down before. Beautiful artwork adorns the walls, and of course, the aspect that everyone talks about, the mega window overlooking all of the planes taking off at MCO. It was quite the view. The best view I've ever had at a restaurant, I'm sure. As for the food, it was solidly five stars. Everything we had was amazing, and a pro-tip, if you are in the building between 5-6:30PM, there are $10 happy hours apps that aren't a full serving of their apps, but that's good anyway, because then you can try more things. We got an extracurricular app before the dining started. It was nice. Apps Tempura Vegetables (broccolini, sweet potato, cauliflower, green beans, kecap manis sauce). Very light and bubbly tempura breading on nice veggies with just enough bite to them. Not a heavy app at all, and that sauce adds a nice zing. It's so good, ask for a second little cup for sharing. Crawfish Chowder (Hemisphere's specialty for over 30 years). Um, yes, this was the bite of the night. I do not understand how they got this kind of depth of flavor and seasoning into this thing. Very creamy and smooth, seasoned well, but probably not offensive to even the boring palates out there. Mains Niman Ranch Pork Chop (apple brained 16oz tomahawk chop, brussel sprout mustard, anasazi beans, shimeji mushrooms, pickled red onion, apricot glaze). This was insane. Such a well cooked chop, juicy all the way throughout even though it was a thicc boy. The mustard seed heavy mustard added just enough acidity to cut through the rich fattiness of the chop and the beans. And the sweetness of the glaze, it was just so well built. Whole Snapper (soy and herb marinated whole fish, coconut Jasmine rice, pickled vegetables, tamarind chili glaze). This was good. Certainly a visual spectacle. Moist, juicy fish, fried well, not greasy. Do not be fooled, this is just rice, covered with coconut milk. It wasn't bad. Just make sure you mix it all up before eating all the milk and leaving just rice. And yes, there are many bones, so just be careful. Desserts The most effort was put towards dessert. Their pastry chef has a brilliant mind, whoever it is. Honey Semifreddo (silky, frozen honey semifreddo, rich chocolate cremeux, golden honey tuile). I cannot believe the strong, perfect honey flavor that this semifreddo had. It paired very well with that rich chocolate, and there was even unadvertised cake chunks on the plate for some texture. Very fun and playful and delicious. Peach Pastel de Nata (warm, flaky, Portuguese style custard tart with peach sorbet). This custard tart was perfect. Very flaky and with a very nice texture custard. There was more than just sorbet on the plate, too. There was meringue, a cream of some sort, and actual grilled peaches. Another very fun dish. I never name names, but our server was the direct reason this place went from a five star to a four star experience. At the end of the meal, she obviously lied to us about coffee needing to be brewed, including throwing her coworker under the bus about the situation, and her attitude about making the lie seem less obvious really cemented the fact that she looked at our age, our dress, probably incorrectly guessed our salaries, and assumed any extra customer service wasn't going to directly add to whatever tip we were going to give her. So, that was a bummer. Lots of boomer types around us in nicer dress certainly got a lot more TLC from her. So, sorry Hemisphere, but maybe just do some extra training with your staff on treating everyone the same. I'm sorry, I'm never like this, but it was just so obvious.

What a great dining experience! From my amazing server, Slavica, to the outstanding food! And what is up with the presentation? I felt like I was eating art! Hemisphere is a must try when in Orlando.

Pros: I love restaurants that participate in Magical Dining Month. I will always support restaurants that support our City Beautiful. Ambiance is beyond belief. The tables are all set to beautifully, and they all look out towards the airport runways, so you get to see the flights take off one after another. It's very cool. The food itself was really delicious. The appetizers were full of flavor, the entrees were cooked perfectly, and the desserts were some of the most creative I've seen in a very long time. Cons: The service was very weird. Our server was all smiles and charm, but it became very apparent that she did not believe that a couple of MDM tattooed Millennials were not going to leave her a good tip. So just be wary and demand satisfaction if you fit that description. Tips: Magical Dining is over, but the amazing things we ran into were the crawfish chowder, the pork chop, and the honey semifreddo. If you come here, get those items. They were incredible.

2025 August - magical dining peach de nata

Thank you Magical Dining! What I did the magical dining experience here. It was well put together. I did the upgrade for my appetizer of grilled Octopus. Man... it was fancy plating for sure! The whole fish was my highlight! Though, how do I stay fancy with this... It was pretty good, I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was a big portion, could've been shared! The appetizer I got the peach pastel de nata which was a little bit disappointing for me. The egg tart wasn't as good as I imagined it would be. The sorbet was the only thing I enjoyed. I also got to try the hibiscus one which was definitely better than the peach egg tarts. Environment Located at the airport and inside the Hyatt. It was a little maze to find this place for sure! There is plenty of parking that's for sure. Make sure to go towards terminal B parking lot and them to terminal Top which would be closer to the hotel and resturants (there are signs). Get the parking ticket cause they validate your parking if you dine in. Once entered the hotel lobby, take the elevator up to the restaurant. The interior is very nice, if you go when there is still sun out, you will see the planes at terminal be taxiing taking off. Very nice. There are booth seats and tables inside. Very nicely decorated and worth the evening date Niceness of the staff Very nice and patient staff as I look over the magical dining menu! Also appreciated the intro to the menus, got me to upgrade my appetizer. Dollar As part of the magical dining experience, this was $60. Which I thought was decent for what it was. Yes/No It was quite the dollar but I would recommend to other!

Natalia, our server was AMAZING! Excellent customer service, friendly, helpful with menu options and just an amazing human. Ambiance is classy, chic, and elevated. This place is classy, yet has some of the most awesome aviation interior design. Bar seating let's you enjoy the views of the airport, while sitting at a refurbished engine cowling. It's retro meets chic ans I'm here for it! Customer service was excellent, from the time we stepped into the restaurant till we let post dinner, everyone was friendly and helpful. Dining, was a lovely experience. Seating throughout the restaurant allows for parties of 2 or even 6. Comfy elevated seating gives you an amazing view of the airport, and t night it's truly beautiful. The menu has anything from seafood (Try the crawfish chowder!), lamb, steak, and salads. There is literally domething for everyone, ans it's sooooo delicious. I picked the lamb and my husband picked the scallops. Both were packed with flavor and cooked beautifully. Tip-o-the hat to thw chef. Swing by. If you're in the Orlando Airport, and give this place a try.

I came here for Magical Dining and was really impressed by the food! Everything we tried was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, well balanced, and had nice and interesting flavors and textures. It's hard to pick a favorite out of the dishes because they were all so good! If I had to really nitpick though, I would say the pork chop was exceptionally good, I think anybody who eats pork would love this dish. It's a cool airplane-themed restaurant since it's located in the airport. Parking is complimentary and located on the 4th floor of parking garage B, just make sure to get parking validated by the restaurant staff. Service was a little slow, maybe they were short on staff that day, but overall it was fine. I would definitely come back for the happy hour and to try other food options here.

First time at this restaurant and it was a nice experience. I went to try the magical dining option. I tried the chowder. The size was a bit smaller but the flavor was amazing! They give a type of cracker with it that was the perfect combination. I also ordered the pork chop. It was huge and cook to perfection. Even though, it was a big piece of pork, it was so juicy and tender. I also tried a little bit of the snapper from my girlfriend. It was delicious. Finally, the dessert options really surprised us. They dont give the normal pies. They actually gave a nice creation that was perfect. I had the honey semifredo. I dont have words to describe how beautiful and delicious it was. However, everything couldn't be perfect. The service was not too good. First, it took a long time to get the attention to someone to get a table. Also, I can feel that each food was made fresh, but the waiting time was too much. Additionally, our waitress never refilled our water or check on us.

We recently had a date night at Hemisphere and definitely enjoyed it. The menu is varied and the cocktails were inventive. I wish the lighting was a bit better in the evening to see more planes but still a beautiful view.

The service was amazing! The views of the Orlando airport were great especially at night or during sunset! & the food was truly exceptional, a true hidden gem! Highly recommend.

Lamb chops with mashed potatoes and carrots
    Ryan P.

The food was good especially the entree. I had the lamb. It was cooked perfect medium rare with a nice char. The mashed potatoes were velvety and carrots were soft and delicious. My wife had the short rib. She felt it was mostly fat and little meat. The waiter was prompt and kept drinks full. The staff was friendly. Great ambiance as we were able to watch jets takeoff during dinner. I had the mille feuille. It wasn't very good. Hardly sweet at all. The texture was tough and hard to cut. My wife's chocolate dessert was delicious however. She loved hers. We would visit again to try some different things. Little pricey for the value in my opinion.

Me and my boyfriend had one of our favorite dinner so far in Orlando! The view is fantastic, the food is amazing, the servers, the chefs, the manager, the host, everyone we met were incredible. Some items of the menu change according to the season but some they are there always. My favorite dessert was the corn crème brule !! It was delicious, I love everything made of corn. My lobster risotto was fantastic and my boyfriend loved his pork! You can go before or after a flight, but we went just for dinner, and it was amazing! The restaurant validates hotel parking, so you don't pay anything to park! This is such a special experience and totally worth it for anyone looking for a unique dinner in Orlando. The view of the airplanes was incredible I recommend sitting at the window!

They were perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The Coal-Roasted Carrots were also cooked perfectly and were such a great side. The Sticky Edamame was great, but the Whipped Ricotta Crostini with Sicilian pistachio butter was AMAZING. The fluffy, creamy ricotta paired with the pistachio was such a good combination and definitely something I would order again. We finished with the Mixed Berry Cheesecake, which was delicious and the perfect ending to the meal. I'm really glad I decided to give Chroma another try because this experience completely changed my impression. Between the stellar service, amazing food, and atmosphere, this was easily a 5/5 visit. The wait staff was way more attentive this time, filling my water every moment it was even half empty. They walked us through any items that we had questions about and was very thorough in their explanation in case there were ingredients that we might've not enjoyed. As part of my magical dining experience, I got the calamari, the meatloaf, and the bread pudding, ALL of which were fantastic. The calamari came crispy and stayed that way even though we sat outside in the humidity. It was dressed in a sweet sour spicy sauce - this was the standout appetizer of the 3 that we ordered. The calamari came with spicy chilis that the waitress asked if I wanted on the side minding my spice tolerance, I asked for it to be as the chef prepares it which is right on top, I should've asked for it on the side because it was very spicy. Fortunately, the spice does not permeate through the sauce and I was able to pick around the chilies. The meatloaf was ok but I can't really complain about a dish that is boring to begin with. Everything was good but nothing innovative or interesting. Very hearty and a lot of food, but if this dish was a paint color, it would be agreeable-gray - a crowd pleaser, filling, and no fuss. I will preface the dessert with the fact that I love bread pudding, i compare all bread puddings to Ohana's at Disney's Polynesian resort, and this definitely met or exceeded that bar. The portion was perfectly served in a mini cocotte, the bread was toasted on the top, gooey on the inside, full butterscotch flavors throughout, it was heavenly as we watched the sun set behind of the beautiful lake where the restaurant sits. The food here has definitely upgraded but my main complain that I had before was the attentiveness of the waitstaff and they turned that completely around. A great place to check out that I will return to many times.

And the short rib meatloaf with the mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy was great. Then came dessert because apparently we still had room. The Bread & Butter Pudding and Nutella Donuts were the perfect ending. We also tried the Blood Orange Cosmo and Nona Sunset, and both drinks were really good. But I HAVE to shout out our server, Samuel. He was PHENOMENAL! Attentive, personable, knowledgeable and just genuinely added to the entire experience. Great service can take a good dinner to another level, and Samuel absolutely did that. Definitely a duo to pair with a martini - Shrimp Scampi w/ Orzotto: The menu didn't list pine nuts, but came served with pine nuts. I picked around as after a long day of traveling, I didn't want to wait for a remake. The dish lacked any flavor, which was shocking as I'd expect more at $35.95!
