This Pad Thai was sticky and drenched in tamarind. I attempted to eat it and not be wasteful, but my stomach could no longer tolerate it.

Do not eat here. The WORST Thai restaurant I have eaten at. After getting my food I realized it was becoming hard to get through every bite and I honestly couldn't figure out what it was. Finally realizing that something was off with the chicken... The chicken it was slippery and rubbery on the edges, like when something's burned, but because it was covered and drenched in tamarind sauce into my Pad Thai I kept constantly guessing what was off with this plate. signs, nobody inside and the menu had no prices ( My order ) - Pad Thai ( horrible ) the noodles dry and were so dark because they were drenched in what she said was tamarind sauce and then mixed with the chicken... was it even chicken ?!! The whole meal was torture -Coconut soup w chicken - the broth was okay - had to remove the chicken -Jazmine hot tea ( My husbands order ) - pad see ew beef - dry noodles and the beef was burnt on the edges almost like freezer burn - tropical Thai tea was $7!!!!! ( hence no prices ) Also!!!!!! on top of this I asked for the traditional fixings like the chill paste etc sauces NOPE they do nothing Thai style here. All she did was just shove sauce packages. For all this we paid $69.00!!!!!!! please give my money back. Now I'm hoping what we ate was cooked properly because they food was a mystery

Here for a former taco bell vibe to a now more flattering Thai restaurant! The seating and decor is a bit gordita familiar, but the servings are HUGE - unfortunately our request for hot sauce was met with italian packets of crushed peppers from pizza take out. hmmmm the take out during the pandemic was better here.

This is what I like! Local, authentic, aromatic cuisine. Service was friendly and timely. Full of flavor, tender cuts of meat, moist rice and noodles. So good. My wife brought some food home as a surprise. I am so glad that she did! I didn't even know this place existed, but now I think it's one of my faves! She ordered the combination fried rice, the spicy noodles with beef, and a side order of vegetables. I am looking forward to ordering from Herb Home Thai Restaurant again in the near future. You need to try this place!

Came here thanksgiving night as we were staying in Lompoc from LA... I thought we only had burger options for dinner tonight but as we drove down H Street we saw this place was open. So glad we stopped because our food was amazing!! My combo fried rice was probably one of the best I've ever had. I was a giant portion and I couldn't finish it all but it was amazing.. my wife ordered the ramen soup and it was also good. She ordered the mildly spicy soup which was just perfect for her. The server was so nice and attentive and she would check on us often even though there were more customers. The ambiance was very calming, the music playing made me feel as if we were in a spa not a restaurant. So needless to say I was relaxed. So glad we ran into this spot because my wife and I are here often and now we have another favorite spot to eat when in the Lompoc area... hope to be back soon...

I had noodle soup with chicken and pork. She had Pad Thai. The broth was bold and flavorful - just how I like it.

We both decided quickly that we will be back for more. Nice ambiance, friendly service, and omg the lemonade was outstanding!

Service was great. Not a wide variety of wines and beers. The reason I'm giving this place such a low score is because my sweet and sour dinner combination had no meat in it whatsoever. Just big chunks of fried breading. There's no excuse for that. Completely disappointed.

I've been living in Lompoc for a couple of months now, thai is probably my favorite to go out for. So I started at the top and tried Herb Home first - looks like there's a few Thai restaurants to choose from. I only had the paid Thai, wish I had more pictures. It was so good! It was not dry and lacking of flavor, it was rich and very saucy with plenty of Tofu and veggies. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes here - it is not cheap! You definitely get what you pay for here at this place and it's worth every cent - if you take your meal seriously you will not be diss appointed. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. They do make the food fresh when you order it so it takes a minute but again - worth it entirely.

They offer Thai dishes including noodle bowls, small plates, and handmade dumplings. We got the Northern Thailand Curry Noodles "Khao Soi" and the Tom Yum Noodles. The Khao Soi had egg noodles and chicken in a curry base broth with coconut milk, fish sauce, pickled mustard greens, cilantro, green onions, and housemade chili oil. They also give you crispy egg noodles to put on top. I appreciated that they wrapped this separately in foil, so they didn't get soggy right away! The chicken pieces were quite large, but overall the broth was tasty! I enjoyed the Tom Yum Noodles! For these, they use flat wheat noodles with Thai chili paste, bunashimeji mushrooms, white button mushrooms, fish sauce, red jalapeño, galangal herb, makrut lime leaves, lemongrass, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro. I chose chicken for my protein. The tom yum flavor really came through! They also give a pretty big portion! Since they are located in a food hall, you can sit at any of the tables. Empty Bowl will give you a pager, so you know when to return to the counter to pick up your food.

I sat downstairs in one of the booths and had the cold bean thread salad. It was so yummy. I also enjoyed a $4 805 beer. So glad Mee Heng Low is here in SLO, next door to my favorite movie theater (the Palm), and serving delicious food and beer at reasonable prices.
