Yum. I can't speak for their tacos or wraps, but the Thai bao buns are sooooo good. Anyone comparing it to Chipolte is mistaken imo. The owners are on-site ready to answer questions and very dedicated. Sauce on the bao buns was delicious with nice combo of sweetness and spice. And the buns themselves, pillowy heaven. I asked for a side of grilled vegetables, also delicious. Everything very fresh. Also their loyalty punchcard is cool because when it's all punched up you get some free eats AND you get to spin their prize wheel. Nice music, nice graphics style, honest food. Yes, prices seem high but this is Napa, and frankly costs add up at Chipolte, too. (Drink water, it's better for you and cheaper :-) Yeah, I'm takin' tap water people. The food is so good, and I have honestly never had customer service this amazing. We ordered through DoorDash (get the dirty fries for sure) and received one bowl that had the wrong meat. As soon as we realized it was the wrong one, they were calling me to say they had already realized the mistake themselves and were sending out the correct item. I've ordered through DoorDash quite a bit during COVID and it's not at all uncommon to get something that's not quite right - but never have I seen the restaurant really even care let alone send out a replacement. 5 start food and 5 start service! read more

We were nervous because the menu was a bit different than what we are used to, but so glad we tried the food here!!!!! Not only is the staff friendly, but the mission behind Heritage eats is one that almost any person can get behind. In addition it's very reasonably priced which is somewhat hard to come by in this town. We have had the American beef, jerk chicken and chicken tikka in wraps which are all really tasty! But the tacos...oh the pork tacos. We agree we've never had such good tortillas in our lives. The meat, fresh veg toppings and sauces are such a great combo. This is one of my favorite lunch spots in town. Fresh salads, wonderfully prepared meats and tasty sweet potato fries. Food truck without the truck and I mean that in a good way! What I love about food trucks is the innovative menus--Heritage Eats definitely has that! The ordering process can be a bit overwhelming (like Chipotle), and the new restaurant means staff is still acclimating. With so many unique flavors and types of food, it was hard to tell what might pair well, so I asked for my order of the Jamaican Bao to be made "as is". I loved the flavor, but the bao bread was too delicate for the weight of the meat and sauces and what should have been a taco-like approach to eating turned to fork and knife. But it was tasty nonetheless! I came during my lunch break, and the restaurant was so incredibly loud I had to sit outside. So not a good place to eat if you're hoping to have a conversation with anyone. It also made it harder to order over the sneeze guard. Maybe there's something the owners can do to the walls or ceiling to quiet things down. Edit: One of the owners reached out to me after this review. These folks helped me hit a home run with a recent catered lunch I provided for our winery! They put together a fantastic array from there international menu that had the whole harvest team smiling as they devoured EVERYTHING! The portions were more than ample and everything tasted so fresh. If you need a catered event, I'd definitely use them! Ben made ordering extremely easy and was even able to work around done dietary restrictions that made sure everyone one was happy. My husband and I are in Napa for a wedding. We came here because the photos on Yelp looked good. This place is incredible!!! I love flavor and Heritage Eats delivers the flavor. I had the Jamaican jerk chicken on boa buns and my husband got the steak in a wrap. I wish I could eat here again before we leave. When I first walked in, I was a little confused of what to do. Someone greeted my friend and I right away and said let me help you. They have menu items but you can make your own. She suggested we could try whatever we wanted first before choosing. Which was so nice! I choose the salad bowl option with lemon grass pork and a ton of different toppings. (for example, corn, squash, quinoa...) Seriously try them all. Was super good!! You are pretty much paying for the meat and then add whatever else you want. They had a ton of delicious sauces/dressings. Have them put in a little cup and try multiple ones. Had hibiscus tea as well. Delish. Also ordered the garlic hummus and pita chips. Delish!!! Both owners were there and both very nice. Loved seeing them work just as hard as their employees. Only problem is it can be a little loud when you get a lot of people in there. So it was hard to hear the person creating our order and have conversation with my friend at times. Will be going back for sure for the waffle fries. I think I really needed to discover my absolute favorite combo before I was able to come back and give an updated review and I finally did! My favorite combo: chicken tikka Marsala w: yellow rice, coleslaw, and cilantro sauce on a Dutch crunch or bao bun. It's so damn good that I often make the trip out to napa just so I grab s delicious lunch! I also order their Thai tea and waffle fries from time to time and that just makes my meal perfection! Definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. You can either select one of their combos or make it all up on your own. Sandwiches are made in front of you as you order - similar process as Chipotle. We ordered the Bánh Mì Dutch Crunch and the Chicken Tikka Masala Wrap -- both were 2 thumbs up. Looked up places to eat on yelp and this was the first place that popped up. We came because it said "Mexican." Walk up, and it's nothing what we expected. Such a different twist on food. Wow!!! This is by far the best fast fresh food restaurant I've ever been to and there are lots out there. All their food truly combine the refreshing taste of an amazing salad, with fantastic braised meats and the perfect sauce to marry it all. Here's what we had: Thai Bao - by far the most popular and that lemongrass pork really adds beautiful savory flavor to that sweet Bao bread. Great texture with crunch. Bahn Mi Dutch Crunch - similar to Thai Bao but a bit sweeter with the pickled veggies and probably the sweeter boom sauce. Braised pork tacos - need to eat this before the Thai Bao or the Bahn Mi so that you can fully appreciate the savory and refreshing taste of the pico de gallo and the lime crema. One last item... Chef Jason's Bacon kimchi fries. It's a must and you have to try it because of the caramelized kimchi!!! Really, words cannot do justice. All I can say is that Heritage Eats is the best thing to happen to Napa in a long time. Their fresh, delicious meal options are a go-to for my family. I appreciate the cafeteria style set up--especially with kids who are hungry NOW and have a hard time waiting for food to arrive. Our favorite is the cowboy steak with rice and fresh veggies. I have also had the falafel and chicken curry--all good! The chicken curry got too spicy for me so I've stayed with the cowboy steak as of late, which is a combination of sweet and a little spice. It's like Chipotle, but tastier and with more options! After a day hiking Mount St. Helena and exploring Napa County, it was time... for dinner. An initial Yelp search came up with those fancy gourmets in Yountville (thank goodness for filters). And so we find ourselves at Heritage Eats. A brief look at their menu board will make you draw parallels with Chipotle. But it's more than that. Their selection of ingredients are inspired by different cultures - "world" fusion cuisine. They have a handful of presets (which you can also see online) or you can chart new territory with their DIY. I went with the latter - braised pork, basmati rice, roasted corn, spinach, pico de gallo, and cabbage slaw. So good. Though a tad more expensive than a comparable Chipotle meal, I felt the quality of the food could justify the price. I hope they open up shop in South Bay! read more

My friends and I tried Heritage Eats for the first time today. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. I had the Bahn mi on dutch crunch and it was delicious. The sandwich was flavorful and had a great combination of textures. It is a good sized meal and I wasn't able to finish the whole thing. My friends had the Thai bao and the falafel. They were both very pleased with their meals. My friend's son got the peanut butter and jelly. They use Dutch crunch for the sandwich which I'm sure is delicious but is a little too much bread for a little guy. Our Napa tour group visited Heritage Eats this week and enjoyed our lunch there. Because we had a large group (12 of us), the owner Ben was able to reserve a special table for us outside so that we could eat together and take advantage of the weather. Heritage Eats is like a super diverse Chipotle. They have everything from Mexcian to Vietnamese flavors. The price point was also a very refreshing departure all the overpriced food in Napa Valley. My boyfriend ordered the Vietnamese Bahn Mi which had incredibly juicy meat along with a perfectly flavored mayo. I thought the Dutch Crunch roll was a great twist and created a more elevated crunch than you would normally get from a the white toasted rolls. The picked veggies were generous enough, but maybe just a tad too sweet. I decided to go for the braised pork shoulder salad along with their seasonal roasted veggies. Let me tell you, those brussels sprouts in the roasted veggies were so beautifully caramelized and tasted really good. The pork shoulder was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and incredibly tender.
