Our son has flag football on sundays at Kapolei regional park and we love that hi cravings has their mobile truck there cause it gets so hot. We always have to get the dessert bowl for sure, just the right amount of sweet, plus the strawberries and bananas. Service is always great, the girls are awesome and even when the line gets long, they still manage to keep it smooth and the wait time is not long at all.

The açaí bowl I got was delicious!! The service is a bit slow, but the staff was friendly when I was finally able to place my order. Not so friendly staff after my incident though. No receipt was offered when payment was made, just a name was taken for my order. After waiting for 30 minutes for my ordering and about 4 people (who placed an order after me) get their orders, I finally went up to ask about my order. The person who took my order and cash payment questioned me about my order and asked for my name. She then stated she has no ticket for my order and then stated my ticket order must have flew away and she then questioned me if I paid. I let her know I paid cash and she then said she doesn't know if I paid for what I'm saying I ordered. I then went back and forth with her regarding my order, the money she took, and saying I was offered no receipt. She then tell me to step aside and I will have to wait for the order that they will give me even though they don't know if I paid or not. I waited another 15 mins and finally received my one açaí bowl I paid for with cash. This service really makes me feel uncomfortable to give this business more of my business. They should have a better system in place for when orders may "fly away" as she states. Also, the way she accused me of not paying for the order and she was the same person that took my order and money! It's a shame that I was treated this way today. I do love their açaí bowls, but I refuse to give my money to a business that treats customers this way.

Every year for the last maybe 5-6 years now we bought for our whole families birthday. And the quality is always 100%. Actually we grown to eat more. The watermelon, coconut, cookie butter, cookie dough, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, acai, the works! Tastes so good together. I will recommend that you buy a little more than you have guests because everyone will want seconds. And keep a freezer near by because you might want to save some for later! It tastes just as amazing the next day.

Super delicious treat! Fast service and beautifully built bowls. The price is more like a full meal, but this is not your average dessert, so be sure to come prepared to spend between $10-15 per bowl. They do have an option for small, and I'm sure it's just as tasty, however the small is VERY small... too small for me. Reason for 4 stars is because they do not show up on time to the designated spots they advertise. My wife was on a HI Cravings binge and we ended up leaving a spot because it was already 15 mins after their open time and still no van showed up. I told her "that might be a sign we shouldn't be eating this" lol but, apparently, that wasn't enough to stop us! We decided to run a couple errands then made our way back to Kapolei District Park, and luckily they had arrived. Our picks have been the regular acai bowls, one w/ strawberries, bananas, cookie dough and condensed milk, and the other is called a Dessert Bowl. That's my fave! I love the chocolate chips and granola that give texture to the softness of the cookie dough and offset to the semisweet açaí. Yum, yum, yum! Super EXTRA treat, but once in a while is okay for me. Enjoy! :)

They park down the road from my home, and so hard to resist. My favorite is the strawberry guava. My niece know how much I enjoy it here, so she got me a half tray version for my birthday! It's a little pricey, and the service isn't always the best, but as long as I get my delicious cold treat I'm just fine with it. They work very hard to service everyone and I notice how long the line can get. Thank you for coming out to Mililani Mauka on a weekly basis.

Hi Cravings is a thriving local business that has been a FAV Açaí & Mango sorbet spot for years! They used to only have a truck and then expanded out now you can find their truck plenty places including night markets often in the gorgeous Kapolei, a stand in down town Pearl ridge mall, and I believe in Kaneohe! If you are a smoothie bowl lover this place is a must try! Their sorbets are soft, fruitful, and the perfect sweetness. They have a ton of topping options that make the experience even more fun. Not to mention that eating fruits like açaí has tons of benefits including it's super food nature packed with antioxidants amazing for overall youthfulness! As I was preparing for my review I noticed these little cards that read "REVIEW US FOR A FREE SNACK BOWL" so naturally I sat my butt down and completed my review because who doesn't love an amazing offer like this *claps hands in feeling the customer appreciation" My family purchased four other bowls anyways so back at ya! *winks* Mahalo Nui Loa Hi Cravings & Shout out to your growth, see you again soon! :D

Review based on visiting their food truck at a craft fair. I always see them with a line at the craft fairs and food truck events, but it's a good thing because we know that Jess is da best (iykyk!!). My friend and I decided to try the kapakahi bowl which comes with your choice of blend, granola, banana, golden kiwi, grapes, mango, Korean pear, specialty fruits, coconut, and raw honey. I chose the classic acai for my base blend. It was good like always! I have no complaints! :)

SWITCH UP THE BDAY CAKE TO A BDAY TRAY! I have been supporting HI Cravings since they were JessDaBest Acai Bowls and it is so cool to see the empire they have become. My daughter is a huge fan of their bowls, so for her 2nd birthday I decided to opt for an acai tray (my first time ordering). The day before my scheduled pick-up date, I was hospitalized switching up lots of the plans we had for my daughter's birthday. I had emailed that night and asked if they were able to write a personalized note from me on a post-it or foil for my daughter to read when it was pick-up on her birthday as I wouldn't be there. They went beyond to decorate and write an actual birthday card for my daughter, which meant the world to me. As for the acai tray... an absolute hit! It was picked up on Monday morning and stored in the freezer until Wednesday night when I returned home. We left it out about 30 min before eating and it was still fresh. It has lasted us multiple desserts and breakfasts. Thank you so much to Brandi for making everything work despite being on vacation and the HI Cravings team for your hard work. Will definitely be ordering again.

hi cravings really understood the assignment i got their açaí bowl with nutella drizzle, granola, chia seeds, and cookie douhh on top and omggg it hit SO hard the mix of textures was perfect -- crunchy, chewy, and creamy all in one bite. not too sweet, super refreshing, and the portion was solid! literally the perfect treat after cruising around definitely coming back for more.

OH MY GOODNESS this is my most favorite açaí bowl place!! Jessica makes the BEST açaí bowl on Earth!! I had my first açaí bowl ever in Hawaii in 2016 and she had a counter service inside a spa. I've tried other açaí bowls in Cali, DC, and MD and nothing beats HI Cravings in my opinion. I came back this summer 2019 and I was in heaven!! The cookie dough and stuffed strawberries with cookie butter were DELICIOUS!!! The açaí base among with the fruits were so tasty and fresh. I will definitely return to HI Cravings when I come back to Hawaii. Hopefully she has a store by then! Side note* make sure you look HI Cravings up on Instagram because the location/hours may change. I was on vacation and decided to rent a car to go to my favorite places and drove to where she's usually located but didn't see the truck. Five stars of course! Hands down the best Açaí bowls for the greatest prices. Always made to order with quality freshness and many varieties to choose from for the base and to add-on anything. And very filling too! Although for the Kapolei-- embassy suites location, I wish it would be more convenient and closer to the Foodland or the park area being that not everyone has a car and from the transit to the hotel, it's kind of far. No complaints though, I'll still walk as far for my Açaí bowl! read more

The best acai bowls! So good! It's like a semi-healthy dessert. So you feel a little less guilty. LOL. And super filling too. The acai bowls come with generous portions and good variety of fresh fruit and crispy granola topped with acai sorbet and honey and a variety of other toppings (for additional charge). They have other flavors of sorbet as well. I've tried the mango and lychee sorbets and they are both very good as well. I like mixing up the flavors for variety. My neice loves the cookie dough topping as well. But I like it just the way it is, without any additional toppings. Since it's a mobile food truck, they vary on where they go. But if you follow them on Instagram, they usually post where they will be. They have regular hours in town and Kaneohe (Windward Mall lot). I just wish they would head to Aiea or Pearl Harbor (lots of business there!) so I can get my acai fix on. Oh, and service can be pretty slow (it's usually just a 2 person show), but friendly. Definitely worth the wait though. read more

I came here around 2pm. There is street parking. Only one customer before us. I see only one person was working. We waited like 10min but it was enough time to decide. We ordered snack size it's like $5.85 with honey, granola, pineapple, strawberry and grape. Plus cookie dough is $1.25. Total is $13. It was kinda small so I will order small size next time. Price is good. Because usually acai bowl is like $10. Recommended. 4 star because I like blueberry but they didn't have it. read more

This is by far my go to for an açaí bowl fix. I like the fact that they have gone mobile, I no longer have to drive half an hour and their various options! Depending on the days and times they're at different locations. Kaneohe, Ward, Pearl City, Kapeolei, and Ewa. They also have a variety of specials (toppings or sides) and it changes daily. Definitely check that out as well. You don't have to get an açaí bowl they do offer different options for your bowl such as mango, pitaya, strawberry lemonade, coconut, and more.. oh and in different sizes too. My usual is the açaí bowl with either white or reg chocolate chip cookie dough. I also like adding mochi and condense milk. The stuffed strawberries are also really good. It's perfect for the muggy/hott weather here and especially after a workout. read more

HI Cravings is based out of Waipahu (I think) and is often located in Kapolei on the street fronting either Embassy Suites or CS Wo. They specialize in Acai Bowl style desserts. They are open from 12-4 and I believe Mon-sat. Look for the purple and white cargo van. A word of advice is to get there before the lunch crowd. And make sure you know what you want before you get there! PROS: Variety of flavor and toppings oh my! There is so many choices and so many combinations that you can never really get too bored of this place. Basically you can choose your ice cream/sorbet flavor, add toppings such as fruit, nuts, mocha balls and you are set! Or you can go and order a preset combination but mix up the sorbet flavors. I get the "Ola," which has like flax seeds, chia seeds, and goji berries. The sorbet flavors, which act as the base of the dessert, change daily and range from acai, lilikoi, green tea to dragonfruit, lychee etc. Freshness Everything is made to order. None of this premade, machine crap, but hand scooped, hand garnished to your liking. That means in turn that it can be time consuming to make. Write down your order (or your friend's one too) and give it to the lady. I find this easiest so she doesn't forget what you want, since the toppings list goes into like 15-20 options. WORKS IN PROGRESS Freshness With the above in mind, it takes about 4-5 minutes per dessert. there is only one person running the cash register and making the dessert, so expect to wait a while if you are like 2nd or 3rd in line. Also what most people don't mention about this place, is that this van is a favorite of many offices in Kapolei. Why does this matter? Because usually when someone goes out for something (starbucks, jamba, etc) everyone else in the office gives that person their order too. I once waited 30 minutes for a lady who ordered 6 of those acai bowls. Come early , like before they open. Not sure if they have a phone number, but if they did I would pre order it so it's ready when you get down there. Price It's definitely no shave ice or slurpee. These Acai bowls start at $4-5 for the smallest one and more for the bigger ones. But again you get some mega premium ingredients so, if you are chang or poor, don't try this because it is on the pricier side.I try to get one of these every week. This place is ridiculous. Their IG schedule states a time and place. They show up on average 20-30 min late and not even ready. Their lines are confusing AF! Stand here someone takes ur order there, other one tells u stand in a straight line. Person at the truck is like what did u order...?! Like seriously, get it together. But the main reason I'm posting this scathing review is the fact that within their truck (employees) are NOT social distancing, one employee isn't EVEN wearing a mask or gloves. And the worst, the person taking ur order is the one that's wearing gloves and touching everyone's cash, card, and THEN UR food.... your customers wait over 30 min in the hot sun downwind of everyone, wind that blows right into ur truck from the line. I will never support this place until they get their shit together. Update to respond to the "owners" "kind" reply: There are four of you in the truck, three of you are not wearing masks. Since you love "how I play" on words. Then you would know the State of Hawaii REQUIRES each person, customers and employees to wear masks! So since you seemed so triggered by an honest review... We really appreciate HI Cravings Mobile's dedication to travel around the island, especially on weekends cuz that's usually the only time we have to go out and enjoy a healthy treat as a family. The service was great today, although they ran out of a few things. We just came for the stuffed strawberries with the cookie butter! It was bomb and the strawberries hit da spot FR. Mililani's Hi Cravings Mobile are always friendly and keeps slamming out bowls till the last minute. We got there 5 minutes before they closed and Brett and Sina made our order with ALOHA. They acai, cookie and dipped strawberries are really good. However, the only problem is the wait time... The fastest I ever had my order (if there are other one or two costumers) is 25 minutes. Of there are 3+ it takes 40+ minutes. Thats the main reason I don't buy as often as before (they became more popular so they got more costumers and thats good for yall). read more

I had such a pleasant experience today at Kapolei Commons, the girl that was working the truck was so accommodating. I wanted to purchase two bowls for myself, one to eat right away and the other for tomorrows breakfast, she recommended that one bowl be prepped and the other was packaged like a "to go" bowl so that it wouldn't be soggy for the next day. HI Cravings never fails to provide the best customer service! Making a tray order online for New Years Eve was so easy! I made a pretty complex order but everything was made perfect. Great taste, fresh fruits, delicious cookie dough! I also love how pick up was available at a location near me! Definitely recommend getting a party tray from HI Cravings for any occasion! This place is legit. Just ordered 2 açaí bowl tonight. Placing order online was painless. They deliver too. We would definitely order again. I believe I found this place from an Instagram reel and made it a point to find the truck when I came to Hawaii on my trip. They post on their Instagram where and when they will be in certain areas. This is the first acai spot that I've tried with different fruit toppings like watermelon and grapes, so that really stood out to me. We tried the strawberry guava sorbet with acai. I have been following around "JessDaBest" ever since she opened her business in Mehana Kapolei. I had heard about her garage and early mobile days before that but never gone to those points... from Mehana the business grew and moved to Beautiville, I followed there as well. Then briefly at Ka Makana. I have been to all of those locations and the business has always thrived. As the business evolved, so did the name, it is now known as HICravings. Jess has really honed in on her skill and perfected her craft over the years. Although I liked the shops and sit down locations, I think the mobile has always worked. The down side of being mobile is the timing. But with social media updates, I can find a location the truck will be and see if it will line up with my availability. So far I see Kaneohe, Kapolei, Mililani and Pearl City being common spots. The flavors I have tried are the acai, pitaya, and now mango blends. I haven't seen the pitaya in rotation for a while though. I am intrigued by the Mauka and strawberry guava blends but can never catch them. There are so many combinations to choose from, just be ready to pay the price! As it is with a medium bowl (2 choice) dessert bowl the price is $13+tax. I need the fruits and the cookie dough in my life! The kalo and bee pollen are add ons I want to try, but never feel the need to pay extra for. One day I will try the "Native" and just order cookie dough on the side. The prices have definitely been rising, but that's understandable with rising costs of ingredients. Quality has never gone down so that definitely matters. I will continue to follow Jess wherever her business may take her. After serving her own family acai bowls, Jess put a unique twist on the traditional acai bowl by including a variety of fresh fruits and toppings that were dessert like and healthy. She additionally became the first person to serve raw cookie dough on an acai bowl, safe to eat of course! From day 1, this has been & always will be my favorite place to get an acai bowl, hands down! Everything from the blend, to the fruits, to the toppings are super fresh! Their granola is one-of-a-kind, definitely can't find their type of granola at any other acai bowl place, and the fact that they offer more than just your standard strawberries, bananas, & blueberries to your bowl -- I mean, c'mon, pineapple, watermelon, & grapes too?! They were bold enough to be the first to do it, & that's what had set them apart from others since the beginning! Another bold risk this business took was the creation & birth of cookie dough on acai bowls. Yes, you heard me right, COOKIE DOUGH on ACAI BOWLS!!! They were the originators of the cookie dough (via acai bowl business) craze you now see all over Oahu, as well as the infamous stuffed strawberries! What are stuffed strawberries might you ask?! They take large strawberries, dip it in decadent milk or white chocolate, gut out the middle of the berry, stuff it with your choice of Nutella or Cookie Butter, & then cap it off with their famous cookie dough. Yeah, it doesn't get any better than that! It's cool to see others try to recreate their own versions of cookie dough & stuffed strawberries, but I'll always go back to the original! Another cool thing about HI Cravings is that they offer more than just an acai blend for you to choose from! They have an array of flavors, like mango, strawberry guava, coconut, and dragonfruit lychee! They'd also do seasonal flavors, like lychee, watermelon, & li hing pineapple (told ya, since day 1! lol) that I hope they can bring back sometime soon! What's cool is that you can always ask them for a sample of the blends they have that day, or even DM them on IG requesting a flavor for a specific location. And not to worry, if you can't decide what bowl to get or what you're actually craving, they have specialty combination bowls (really popular!) that they offer -- it's an additional price, but well worth it! Being that they're strictly mobile at the moment, this business tries to stay accessible & engages with their customers in various ways, which I truly appreciate! Which leads me to say, the staff here are absolutely AMAZING!!! Super sweet & animated (have you see the HI Cravings TikTok vids?! Absolutely entertaining!), & I'm always inclined to leave them tip in their jar that was decorated after the movie Up; its said one of their employees hand-painted it -- can you say TALENTED?!?! HiCravings truly offers the best acai bowls ever! I recently contacted them to help bring my vision of an acai bowl bar to life for my teammate's birthday, and they made the entire process incredibly easy. They offer both catering trays and individual bowls, and I opted for a catering tray with all the regular fixings: pineapples, bananas, strawberries, honey, granola, plus their delicious cookie dough and goji berries. Although they were out of bee pollen, everything else was perfect. I requested the fixings to be in separate containers so we could assemble our own bowls, and they obliged without any extra charge. Delivery was early, and the entire process was pleasant and hassle-free. The acai bowl bar received rave reviews from everyone, and we hope to do it again soon! In all honesty there aci bowls are amazing however, I'm not sure if it's worth the long wait!!! There is usually only one person working the truck which is disappointingly inefficient. This same person must handle the orders, the long lines and make the aci bowls. It takes forever for peoples orders to be taken and to actually be made. If your willing to wait in a long line for an aci bowl your crazy. I gave literally waited an hour and half before. read more

This food truck is amazing! The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was friendly, patient, and very informative when I had questions about the menu. They made me feel welcome and didn't rush me at all. On top of that, the food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. Kapolei and Makakilo has been real hot, I seen the hi cravings truck and went to give it and try and I immediately became a fan. They have different açaí purée flavors along with dozens of add ons. The mango pure was Rich and fresh along with the fruits served on top. The customer service was Quick and friendly, definitely will be lurking there schedule. read more
