Been going to this food truck for years!!! This is becoming a weekly thing for me and my family. Service is great, workers are awesome, the food bowls with cookie dough is out of this world. Btw I like eating chocolate cookie dough. Personally I like strawberry guava with all the regular toppings except grapes, all the other flavors are good as well. Depending how many workers are working that day, it can be a wait, but I haven't waited too long. Somedays the lines are short somedays the lines are a bit long. For the most part, I haven't waited excessively for my order. The wait was always worth it. Some of the reasons that prevented me from giving a full five stars is: Each truck station has different flavors and are not consistent. Example the Pearlridge location might have all the flavors and menu available, but their truck station in Kaneohe have might limited flavors and menu. I wish there was consistency all across the board, I have at times drove to further truck stops to get my strawberry guava fix. Like I said before the other flavors are good. Im concerned more about if they have cookie dough or not lol. Some truck stops are fixed some aren't same goes with their availability. There use to be a truck stop in town before, but are no longer there. I guess there just trying markets in different areas that are busier hence with he unfixed truck stops and times. You have to understand that from a business POV, I know I do. Fortunately for me, I live in Salt Lake now, so the Pearlridge stop makes it convenient for me. Depending on the truck stop, parking can be hard, but in all the years I've been patronizing this business, I can't recall a time when parking was rough to find. Overall, the years I been going here, majority of the time it was more positive than negatives. When I move to Japan, I plan to vacation back to Hawaii. I was out walking in Kapolei and had $6 in ones on me. I asked if there was tax on the smallest snack size bowl. She asked me to order what I wanted and I asked her to tell me how much the snack bowl was all totaled. She said $6.02... so I said, "we are two pennies short..." She turned us away... Wow! No words! Just wow!!! That's my two cents, pun intended! Where's the aloha? Update: To my post regarding last Sundays visit. I would like to believe what is said by owner is true, however it is impossible that the team member did not understand what we needed because: We approached window saying,"we don't know if we can order because we only have $6." She said what would we like to order..." We said," we only have $6 and need to know if there is tax on top of that $5.99 snack size. She rang it up and says,"it's $6.02" I said, "We only have $6." We are 2 cents short." I asked, "do you have a couple of pennies hanging around?" I looked at the tip jar and saw pennies and change...she didn't respond. Then I said, "I guess we can't order?" She didn't answer so we slowly walked away saying out loud, "really? Over 2 cents?" Still ignored. It's just not possible that the team member didn't understand. Too bad because we live close to the truck and I finally remembered to bring money on our daily walk. I have been wanting to try it out but now I am left with a bad taste in my mouth. Update 2: I should not have wasted my time reviewing this "business " because all Jess does is make excuses for the shortcomings... There should be a disclaimer. The Kapolei locations arrives at 1, but she takes so long setting up, she doesn't actually open until 1:30 Which can be really annoying when you online ordered at 1 & then still have to wait in line because she's so slow. The bowls here are always amazing & never disappoint ! The service here is usually amazing as well. Today however at the Pearl Ridge Location for closing day that same service was not shown. When my family and I arrived there was a fairly long line but we didn't mind the wait. When it was nearly our turn to order the cashier (larger dark haired female) rudely yelled at another employee (smaller light haired female) about the way she tossed a post it note. The other employee was trying to apologize and the cashier continued yelling, then turned back to her customer as if the altercation had not taken place. My family and I decided to leave the line as we felt uncomfortable , we are unsure if this was due to the frustration of being busy but it was definitely a way different experience than we have ever had before. read more

Came to the mobile location for the first time today. I have been to all of their previous locations/ original kapolei, kapolei mall, downtown, Waipahu depot. I like the concept of the mobile business but it does limit resources as it seems they run out pretty fast. I saw they would be in kapolei from 1-5pm today so I went around 3 and they were already out of half of flavors including the açaí sorbet which was what I had planned on ordering. I got the strawberry guava sorbet which was good but didn't quite hit the spot since I was craving the açaí sorbet. They didn't have stuffed strawberries either. I still enjoyed the bowl & I'll probably visit the mobile location again and go earlier next time. read more

So let me be completely honest...the best bowls hands down....no doubt about it...I drove from town (Ala Moana area) to Kapolei which was on their Instagram and website schedule. They could not be found. Drove around up and down every road in the Kapolei Regional park area between 12-12:30. Nothing. I sent them a message via Instagram and nothing again. There were no updates of a location change. Very very very disappointed. So my suggestion to anyone wanting to try their amazing bowls...don't drive to their scheduled location....if you happen to see them on the side of road then consider yourself lucky!! read more
