This is the second time I take my car to Hi tech auto. They never disappoint me. In 2015 my car was rear ended, it took 3 months and 1/2 to get my car back, from another detail shop in San Pedro. I was under the impression that all collision repairs take this long. Until I took my car to Hi tech. The first time I took it in, they repaired it after a drive by. My car was shot up while parked in the street near USC, in Los Angeles. Second time around it was scraped badly and the rear view mirror was knocked out of place. Both times took less than 2 weeks. Her car was returned a few weeks later, with a smile to express the gratitude. My dad was second when a lady in a Prius changed lanes without looking and damaged the front end of his car. My dad was so upset he thought his car would never run the same. His car was returned in flawless condition by Tony, you'd never know it was in an accident. My car followed when I encountered an accident on the freeway. Tony immediately sent a tow truck for my car (which I didn't even pay for) and assisted with getting me a rental car. He worked with my insurance to make sure my car was restored to its original condition. He was very communicative throughout the process. Don't believe the hype!! I came to Hi Tech with high expectations after talking to Tony, he reassures me that my car was in good hands. Also checking reviews & in the neighborhood, I thought it would be a good idea. Wishing my experience was as good as 3 not even. I came in with bumper, head light, left tire & other small damages on my 2016 Nissan Altima. The Bumper didn't fit, definitely not installed properly. The issue is that Tony is dishonest & took my money before I checked or he showed me his work. I couldn't see the repairs until I drove out his dark garage. Why would you take my money if you knew the damn bumper wasn't installed properly? In addition: had a 1/2 tank of gas, I left with 1/4 of gas? Air conditioner was on high, with 4 doors open. I text Tony to turn AC off, the day I drop car off @ his shop. I also thought someone drove my car: unexplained miles. Aug. 9, 2023 mi. @ 51,074. Aug. 17, I drop car off w Tony & crew. There's no way I could've added 300 mi if my job is 7.7 mi from home 4-5 days a week. Car was damaged and children were out of school. Please somebody make it make sense? My experience was less then good. Aug. 9th or 10th they should replace tire. Before I picked up & paid this sh!t should've been done. Estimated $6,077.63 of work, my car still busted & disgusted. Although the process through the other party's insurance took some time - Hi Tech Auto was great in communicating along the way. They did a great job in explaining how the process would shake out. I was worried that I would be without a car for along time and did not want to deal with a rental. I was recently involved in a car accident and was having an immense amount of difficulty getting my insurance company to approve the estimate that was provided to me by their appraiser. After almost two weeks of struggling to get ahold of my adjuster and appraiser, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and have my car towed to a repair shop (against my insurance company's advice). The man who towed my car referred me to Hi Tech Auto and I am so grateful that he did! Once my car was at this shop Tony was able to get ahold of my insurance company's appraiser and managed to seamlessly get all of the necessary work approved. The car repairs took a little longer than anticipated and since I do not have rental coverage, I was a bit concerned. Tony heard my concerns and accommodated me with a rental car for the final days of the repair. Tony has done his best to make this unsavory process much more pleasant and for that I am thankful! After getting my car back, having more issues, having it fixed again... about a week later I walk up to my newly repaired care with a dead battery after working a 15 hour day.... This shop cannot seem to fix my car. Before the repair I had my car serviced regularly and the battery was in perfect health. I did not leave any lights on and there is no reason my car should be dead right now after being fixed for 3 weeks by this shop. This shop has great customer service and will do everything they can to fix your car just know it might take a few tries over a couple of months Update, a few months later nothing has happened to my car I find that the headlight was not put on properly and has air leaking into it from the outside. One of the workers was even nice enough to drop me off at enterprise so I could get a car rental. They are also really good at updating you not only on your car but your insurance to.
