Buffet

Super average, if that's a phrase. I brought several staff members here (24 total). My lead admin booked us a rezzi and they reserved the back room. It was perfect for our crew! The wait staff were incredible. It was a Tuesday evening, but might as well have been the weekend given the crowd. The food was exactly what I paid for lol mid. The sushi was unmarked and left me questioning what exactly they put out. I passed on most of it, except what I knew for sure. The hibachi was well enough. I did notice the 'chef' was tossing raw foods with his metal spatula on the griddle and then plating cooked food immediately after at the end of the day the buffet was plentiful. I did enjoy the stuffed shrimp and grilled chix options out of all the choices! Bon appetite fam

The food was good but tasted like it had been left out for too long. For example, the crab Rangoons, sesame balls, dumplings, chicken, and octopus were luke warm and dry. Not anything particular stood out to me regarding the food. The dessert options were better than the main entrees. They had various pastries and ice creams to choose from. The seating areas felt way too crammed for the booths, even just for 3 people. The clear glass dividing the booths also makes it awkward for two separate parties eating on opposite sides, especially considering how close the seating is. On the plus side, the service here was probably the best I've received at a buffet. Constantly passing by, assisting with anything they could.

Manger staring at our table

Service was super terrible and unwelcoming, me and my friend came an hour before close mind you they had a half full dinning room. As soon as we walked in the lady in the front told us they closed in an hour and tired to convince us not to eat. Once we decided to sit and eat we started to eat and the server was already circling our table while the other workers walked past staring at us. We got up to get some of the dessert while still eating because they started clearing out everything. As we got our dessert another lady came up trying to take out plates as we were still eating! Not even 5 minutes later she comes back hands us out check and STANDED THERE AS WE WERE SIGNING THE CHECK on top of that we wrote down cash as the tip and the server goes your tipping cash can I have it never have I ate at a buffet and they asked me to give them the tip before I left the table. After we gave the tip and she left the manger sits and stares at our table until we finally decide we were not welcomed we left. I totally understand wanting to go home as I also work in the restaurant industry but I have never seen people so rude work in the restaurant industry I will Never come back here and I recommend you do the same the food was terrible and it always disappoints a waste of space in this shopping center if you ask me shame on this business!

About what you may expect of a buffet of this sort. Sushi and prepared meats were bad and my waitress was rude.

My favorite was the string beans they were the best I have ever had at any buffet I was very happy to see spring rolls and egg rolls The buffet dishes were filled regularly, which was good because the restaurant was very busy The service was very good and our dishes were removed very fast This is the only buffet I went to that had soft ice cream service. Except for the delicious chocolate chip cookies the other desserts were the usual you find at a Chinese buffet. We will return someday

My turn to drive so off I went with no direction and a hangry passenger.. soooo here we are. The place was clean when we walked in which is imortant. My rating was based on other buffets in the area and the consistency in quality. I started with my favorite appetizers.. The mini clams are covered in a rich soy flavored sauce and come right out the shell with chop-sticks. I then make my specialty hot n' sour soup.. which I add a wonton (from the wonton soup) and then take the fried shrimp and add them (after I take the shell off) . The mini egg roll was hot and fresh. The wings were juicy and crispy. The dumplings are delicious and I love to put them in a bowl with their dipping sauce so I can dunk things in the extra sauce (like my egg roll). The ribs on the bone were tender with and the basted-on bbq sauce was bursting with flavor. The next round was from the hibachi grill. I love my veggies so I had to do a medley tossed in a garlic teriyaki sauce (bean sprouts, broccoli, carrots, celery, jalapeños, onions, pineapples, sugar snap peas, mushrooms, zucchini) What is not pictured is the other plates off food I ate out of denial that I said I WAS NOT going to overeat

The lunch deal was all you can eat and one serving of all the ingredients was more than enough. The ingredients were fresh, plentiful, and the broth was full of flavor. The quality is above average, something I've had a hard time finding recently with AYCE establishments. Service is great. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we got all our rounds in, even though we were dining close to closing. I didn't feel rushed out whatsoever and appreciated how the portions are reasonably sized. They don't overcrowd the table and make you more mindful of how much you'll order next. The individual pots are a huge plus for me. Everyone gets their own broth to cook whatever they want within close reach. The DIY sauce bar is only icing on the cake! Shabu will fill you up, especially on a cozy winter night. If you're looking for the best season to try, though I'd argue shabu always hits year round, take this cold RI winter to give this place a go.

Somehow, every time I've come here, the experience has been excellent. I honestly cannot remember a single bad meal. This isn't a place I visit every week or even every month. It's more of a special occasion destination every few months. Part of the reason is that every visit turns into an event. We always go for the full experience, and by the time we leave, we're completely stuffed, happy, and already talking about when we'll come back. The quality of the food is outstanding. Everything arrives hot, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Whether it's one of the signature cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, pork, or something from the Market Table, I've yet to find an item that disappointed me. Usually, by the end of the meal, I've lost track of how many different things I've tried because I'm too busy enjoying all of it. One thing that always makes me laugh is the famous red and green card system. In theory, you flip the card to green when you want more food and red when you need a break. In reality, after a few visits, the staff seems to remember what you like. I've had servers and gauchos walk by with cuts they know I enjoy and offer them before I even have a chance to flip the card. That's not a complaint. It's actually one of the reasons the experience feels so personal. The service deserves just as much praise as the food. From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed warmly. Throughout the meal, someone is always checking to make sure you're enjoying yourself, asking if you need anything, and making sure the experience lives up to expectations. It never feels forced or scripted. The staff genuinely seems to care that you're having a great time. We usually arrive around 5:00 or 5:30, before the dinner rush really gets going. That timing has always worked well for us and allows for a relaxed, enjoyable meal without feeling crowded or rushed. Fogo de Chão isn't inexpensive, but that's because you're getting an experience, not just a meal. Between the quality of the food, the attention from the staff, and the overall atmosphere, I've always felt like I got my money's worth. At this point, if someone asks me where to go in Providence for a memorable dinner, Fogo de Chão is always near the top of my list. Fantastic food, exceptional service, and a level of consistency that is surprisingly rare these days. Five stars without hesitation.

It is rare to find a place that maintains such high quality for so long, but they truly deliver. The crab rangoons were so delicious to start! The General Choi's Chicken was delightful for my partner but one has to love spicy food and he does! However, he was not thrilled with the white rice because he felt it was very dry. I also enjoyed the Lo Mein noodles, yet, I would eliminate the chicken in the future as it seemed a bit chewy.
