Super average, if that's a phrase. I brought several staff members here (24 total). My lead admin booked us a rezzi and they reserved the back room. It was perfect for our crew! The wait staff were incredible. It was a Tuesday evening, but might as well have been the weekend given the crowd. The food was exactly what I paid for lol mid. The sushi was unmarked and left me questioning what exactly they put out. I passed on most of it, except what I knew for sure. The hibachi was well enough. I did notice the 'chef' was tossing raw foods with his metal spatula on the griddle and then plating cooked food immediately after at the end of the day the buffet was plentiful. I did enjoy the stuffed shrimp and grilled chix options out of all the choices! Bon appetite fam

The food was good but tasted like it had been left out for too long. For example, the crab Rangoons, sesame balls, dumplings, chicken, and octopus were luke warm and dry. Not anything particular stood out to me regarding the food. The dessert options were better than the main entrees. They had various pastries and ice creams to choose from. The seating areas felt way too crammed for the booths, even just for 3 people. The clear glass dividing the booths also makes it awkward for two separate parties eating on opposite sides, especially considering how close the seating is. On the plus side, the service here was probably the best I've received at a buffet. Constantly passing by, assisting with anything they could.

    Manger staring at our table

Service was super terrible and unwelcoming, me and my friend came an hour before close mind you they had a half full dinning room. As soon as we walked in the lady in the front told us they closed in an hour and tired to convince us not to eat. Once we decided to sit and eat we started to eat and the server was already circling our table while the other workers walked past staring at us. We got up to get some of the dessert while still eating because they started clearing out everything. As we got our dessert another lady came up trying to take out plates as we were still eating! Not even 5 minutes later she comes back hands us out check and STANDED THERE AS WE WERE SIGNING THE CHECK on top of that we wrote down cash as the tip and the server goes your tipping cash can I have it never have I ate at a buffet and they asked me to give them the tip before I left the table. After we gave the tip and she left the manger sits and stares at our table until we finally decide we were not welcomed we left. I totally understand wanting to go home as I also work in the restaurant industry but I have never seen people so rude work in the restaurant industry I will Never come back here and I recommend you do the same the food was terrible and it always disappoints a waste of space in this shopping center if you ask me shame on this business!

About what you may expect of a buffet of this sort. Sushi and prepared meats were bad and my waitress was rude.

Han Palace is one of those places that you bring the family to every week, and they too have a die hard following in the community. And for good reason! You can find Keith there every day, always on the move. When I went, he was the one who took us to our table. I couldn't help by admire the art etched into the glass dividers in the restaurant, and the high backs to the booths allow you an intimate experience with your dining companion/s. While he was camera shy and didn't want to be in a photo (which I can respect) he was more than eager to share his thoughts on his crab rangoon! I mentioned he has quite the fan base for the appetizer and he shared with me that he workshopped his recipe for a bit before settling on what he serves today. For him, he doesn't like a strong fishy taste. Keith also freely shared his secret touches, white pepper and scallions. A note I will remember next time I make my own. When asked for a staff recommendation for what to have with our rangoon, the server suggested the General Tso's Chicken, one of their most popular dishes. Before long the food arrived and I was excited to see what the hype was all about. On first bite, what you immediately notice is these are GENEROUS on the filling. If you like a fat rangoon, this is going to be right up your alley. The taste is cream cheese forward, with the kani and scallions supporting characters to bring it all together. A small warning, be careful how you bite into these, the filling can squirt out!! Normally, I am the type to roll my eyes at ordering General Tso at a Chinese restaurant. It's like the Chicken Tikka Masala of Chinese food. However! I see why this is popular. The chicken was fresh, the slightly crispy texture holding up in the sauce. The sauce was tangy, just the right amount to evenly coat the chicken with some extra for the rice and a level of heat between mild and medium. The rice was a savory hearty base for the chicken. My quest for the best crab rangoon in Rhode Island brings me to the best places. I'm glad to have discovered this community icon, and look forward to my next visit!

My first trip was to Islander The inside of the Islander is gorgeous, ornate decorations tastefully spaced to create texture and visual appeal. The mother and daughter duo who served us were long time employees of the business. I was told that they had three generations of their family work as front of house staff there. Most of the employees were there for the long haul, a sign if thoughtful and caring ownership. A foreshadowing to when I met the owner later. We ordered the crab rangoon and our server mentioned she would send out a scallion pancake and some salt and pepper spicy wings for us to try. We didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. The appetizers all looked beautiful and we couldn't wait to try them. The rangoon were delicious. Creamy, a nice proportion of kani with a hint of onion in the background. What I really liked about them was the purse shape. The fried edges had the kind of crispiness that shattered when you bit into it. The scallion pancakes were flaky and tasty. The wings were a good kind of heat, some spice but it never overwhelmed. The banana peppers added a little acidity that took it over the top. And when we thought that was all, two more dishes came out! The Islander fried rice and the Peking Beef. Both were great but my favorite of the two was the beef. The beef was so tender, the sauce was savory, meaty and loaded with veggies like baby bok choy, snow peas and baby corn. At this point, Simon the owner came by and spoke to our table. I had so many questions for him and he was kind enough to answer all of them. I couldn't thank him enough for his kindness and generosity. He was genuinely so sweet. He even sent us home with another order of rangoon and the house wings. I hadn't been to many restaurants in this part of Warwick but I highly recommend you make the trip to come and dine here. I also enjoyed the Lo Mein noodles, yet, I would eliminate the chicken in the future as it seemed a bit chewy.
