Stopped by for a quick lunch and was very impressed! Quickly seated and attended to. Drinks were brought out very fast and menu was easy to read. Lunch specials were very reasonable and the entire experience was great! Super chill atmosphere and the food was delicious! Had the hibachi lunch chicken and steak, tried the noodles and rice as well as sushi! All fantastic! Super clean, updated and to round out the experience, there's an awesome Koi pond and water feature with a ton of friendly Koi! Can't speak for dinner service, which I know that they're busy or at, but the lunch service was phenomenal! Definitely adding to our lunch rotation!

We have been coming here for years. Usually get seated quickly. Tonight they were a smidge slammed so had a little bit of a wait. Our favorite waiter (Eric) was working. We absolutely love being seated in his area. He's fun and attentive which adds to the experience of the food. Sushi is delicious. Our usuals are the Hibachi Tuna Tower and the sunrise roll. We ventured out today and got the Midtown, Lobster tempura and Blazing Sunset. All of which were great. Come for the great service and stay for the great food.

Took my grandkids for dinner thinking they'd enjoy the teppanyaki style service. You can tell the place has been around awhile. First impression is that the place needs a good steam cleaning. The young hosts were wearing black t-shirts. We were seated at one of the teppanyaki tables where we waited about a half hour before the waitress took our order. This was because they wanted to fill more seats. Our chef was entertaining but I didn't appreciate it when he realized he was out of teriyaki sauce and ambled back to the kitchen to refill it leaving our fried rice and noodles to cook on the surface for an additional 5 minutes while he was gone. I ordered hot green tea which came in a beer pint glass of hot water with a couple tea bags, not the traditional little pot of hot tea. Our waitress was very good and the food abundant for the price (especially the kid's menu). The koi pond is cool but the music was techno, not Japanese. But, the grandkids had a blast and the food and service were good, which is why we will return.

My first visit to this restaurant was on May 31, 2025. I was dining alone in the late afternoon and early evening. There is excellent signage out front, and lots of parking. The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. There are basically two sections. One for hibachi tableside preparation and the other for more traditional style dining. Because I was dining alone, I went for the traditional side, but sometime in the future, I look forward to seeing the hibachi side and the talented chefs as they work their magic. The menu has many choices. The decor stylish, somewhat dark in color. It gives a place a touch of mystery. I had a hibachi ribeye steak, which comes with vegetables, fried rice, noodles, and some shrimp. There was a delightful, small salad and soup. Every menu item was prepared to perfection. I finished with an amazing green tea ice cream. In my opinion, their prices are actually on the low side. This is a lot of great food for the price!

If you get Sam as your chef you will have a great time! Ask for him if you can. The food was good the sushi was well made. The drinks were always full. Everything was clean, great place to bring a group out for celebrations!

Always love going here! Sushi was excellent and the hibachi grills always great. We don't go for the show, just go to eat. Service always awesome and wasn't busy on a weekday lunch. Nice place to eat, so give them a shot!

This has been our go to sushi place since we moved to Abq. I can't talk about the Hibachi Grill because we've never been to that side. But I can say that our sushi was excellent. The ingredients have been fresh, delicious and our rolls well made. We started with the Tuna Tower and added the Mango Lobster Roll, Sunrise Roll and the Fantastic Roll. We left with our appetite sated. Our server Eric was spot on - great personality, friendly, checking frequently and insuring our drinks were full. He's served us before and has been consistent with service. He definitely makes for an excellent dining experience.

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.

I was immediately impressed by the staff. you couldn't ask for better care and warmth. we participated in any activities that were offered and made new and lasting friendships along the way. thru those years there were difficult times. I guess the most difficult was the pandemic when we were limited to movement within the building but you would be amazed attn lengths the staff went to to keep us happy. delicious meals were delivered to our door ( we ordered from our menu's ). Games were played at each door if you wanted to participate and there were fun prizes. The weekly wine socials were brought to your door. Meanwhile, all the necessary health precautions were taken. The apartments were thoroughly cleaned weekly. When necessary, immunization clinics were brought to each resident and if you wanted to participate, they made it easy. Eventually that passed and life got back to normal but it's hard not to recognize the professional handling of that difficult time. The building was renovated and mad lovely for us. If anything needed to be updated, it was life moved along smoothly and I must admit, to my surprise. There were many staff changes but amazingly, the staff remained warm and caring. Deep down, I can forget that they are dealing with many different personalities and sometimes elderly people can be a tad grumpy. The loving staff simply overlooks the bad days. Food is always an issue but the menu is large with choices for everyone. If that isn't enough, there's a really great Bistro you don't want to mis. The activities are numerous and year round. Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and outings take place twice a week. All you have to do is signup. I can't close this without mentioning that my husband passed away in 2022. it was a difficult time made easier by the Fairwinds staff and especially the management. Being100% deaf and disabled, my family wanted me to move to assisted living despite my reluctance. Doralei warmly helped me make that decision to move and very graciously helped me find a comfortable apartment. The move was smooth and the golden treatment given by the health and Wellness staff has been perfect so I have to admit that it was the proper move. When I need appointments, the transportation service is wonderful and I can't forget to mention the wonderful drivers. Do you see how fortunate I furl that all those years ago, we made the decision to move here it was the perfect one. You can't go wrong.

Extremely disappointing experience at Sixty Six Acres…read more We walked in and were seated immediately on the patio. I had read so many positive reviews and was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we walked out without ever being served. While we sat there, multiple staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. No greeting. No water. No "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Then another couple arrived after us and was seated in the same small patio area. They were promptly greeted, given water, and attended to by a waiter who seemed more than happy to serve them. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there trying to figure out whether anyone planned to acknowledge our table. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was looking around and realizing there were no other Black or Brown patrons in the establishment at the time. I cannot definitively say race played a role in how we were treated, but given the stark difference in service between our table and the couple seated after us, I would be dishonest if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. We eventually got up and left. Good food reviews mean very little if certain guests can sit at a table while staff repeatedly walk past them as though they aren't there. Whether this was discrimination, poor training, or simply terrible service, the experience was unacceptable and left us feeling completely unwelcome. We came prepared to spend our money and enjoy dinner. Instead, Sixty Six Acres made it very easy for us to take our business elsewhere.

After several locals recommended Antiquity, we quickly learned why reservations are so hard to come by. We couldn't secure a table on our actual anniversary, but managed to get one a couple of nights later, and it was well worth the wait. From the outside, Antiquity is understated. Step inside, however, and you're immediately welcomed into a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Owner Steve, who has been running the restaurant for nearly three decades, greeted us personally. His passion for hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. While we waited briefly for our table, he took time to learn about us, ask what types of food we enjoy, and offer thoughtful menu recommendations. The restaurant itself is charming and authentic, with an old-world steakhouse feel that perfectly complements the historic New Mexico setting. Many of the tables and booths are arranged to create private, intimate dining spaces, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. We were touched when Steve seated us at what he called the "anniversary table," complete with a small scattering of heart confetti, despite our celebration having technically passed. Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Rather than relying on a single server, the entire staff worked seamlessly together. Water glasses were never less than half full, empty plates disappeared almost instantly, and every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a memorable experience. Even the kitchen staff engaged warmly with diners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it exceeded every expectation. We started with oysters on the half shell, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I upgraded to the special salad, a beautiful combination of greens, apples, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, bacon, and a creamy mini brie, all brought together with a delicious pear vinaigrette. For our entrée, we chose the Châteaubriand for two. It was expertly prepared, carved tableside, and cooked perfectly. Every recommendation we received was spot-on, and the meal was so impressive that before leaving, I made another reservation for later that week just so I could return and try more of the menu before our trip ended. Antiquity offers beer and wine rather than a full bar, which was perfectly fine for us and fit the restaurant's classic, understated character. This is not an inexpensive dinner, nor should it be. What you're paying for is exceptional food, genuine hospitality, flawless service, and an atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. Antiquity doesn't simply serve dinner, it creates an experience. If you're visiting Albuquerque and looking for a memorable meal, especially for a special occasion, this restaurant deserves a spot at the very top of your list.

Starting with the positive, the Really Good Stuff: The food was excellent, the steak with artichoke…read morewas fabulous, as was the cold pear soup and the special salad. Really excellent food, everyone enjoyed their dishes immensely. The Not so Great: They were out of the wines we tried to order - all 3 that we tried to order off the menu, none of which were crossed off (dozens were already blacked out). We finally stopped trying to pick what we wanted and just asked for a suggestion out of what they actually had in-stock, that was similar to what we asked for off the menu that they didn't have. We wound up spending more than what we had originally selected, but the wine was good. It's unclear why they're out of 60% or more of the wines on their menu. They said something about "switching over", whatever that means (from what to what?). They should just print a new menu with what they actually have, not play this game where you try to guess what they might not be out of, that's dumb. Even if it's just a couple of pages of wines that they really have, that's better than 6 pages of stuff that isn't avaialable. Service was mixed, our waiter Shawn was great, but there were other issues, below. The building has some deferred maintenance issues, the bench seat at our booth fell apart when we got up, stuff like that. The entry wasn't very welcoming, but the food was so good, it would make up for everything, except for this.... Now for the Really Bad: We told them about allergies at the table, but when I ordered the dessert crepe with cherries jubilee, I was instead served a crepe chock full of walnuts. Wrong dish, and I'm allergic to walnuts. It was rolled up and filled, so I thought maybe the cherries were inside. I took a bite and has an immediate effect. I spit out the bite (which is embarrassing to have to do at a restaurant with guests), but it was too late. It's not life threatening or anything, but I spent a very miserable night, as a result. I barely got an apology 'sorry they delivered the wrong dish', but no serious concern, and not a single penny off the bill. They didn't even take the charge off for the dessert that I didn't get the first time, and was unable to eat once they gave it to me, because my mouth was on fire. Our table of 4 spent about $400, so it seems like they could have done a little something for us. At least sincere concern, but it it existed, it was never expressed to me. On the way out, I spoke to the owner, who was standing out front (yelling at wait staff about when tables were clearing), and told him the situation. He literally said "what do you want me to do about it?" Well, Dude, something. But no, nothing. He said he will train the staff to be more careful. That seems like something that should have been done already, so this didn't happen to begin with. He said "I owe you one", but didn't take my name or any information for this future unnamed favor, didn't offer a gift certificate, or even a dessert to take home. It seems serving food the customer is allergic to should warrant some kind of acknowledgement. At least a free dessert, or a gift certificate to enjoy a future meal - one without an allergic reaction. Not sure if I'm going back. The food was so excellent, I may go back, but the other experience was very unhappy.
