    Very inexpensive for a buffet.

I like a good Chinese Buffet and this one was the only one in the area. I was hoping they improved since the last post. Nope. Almost all the Food was luke warm. I was flying out of town that night. Fortunately i did not get sick. Food was not being replaced when it was out or scraps and sauce were left at the bottom of the pan. Very disappointing.

    Empty! For over an hour!

They are closed for good. Just kept getting worse. It always had folks in there. The large families coming in letting therr children at the buffet was really sicking, children using there hands to get food off yhey bar. Putting food back on the serving area.

Decent enough for a Chinese buffet though the Chinese stuff on the line was drenched in sauce or you were digging through vegetables to get to the meats. Lots of non-Chinese stuff up there for the folks who prefer lasagna, roast beef, sausages or cheese pizza. A reasonable sushi table though most of the maki rolls were either fried or loaded in sauces. The nigiri included salmon, tuna, shrimp and crab stick but these were not restocked while I was there. The rice was a bit dried out, which is the usual experience with a Chinese place that tries to do sushi. The chocolate fountain was interesting. And there was self-serve ice cream.

So much good food! This place has everything! They have of course the normal Asian buffet foods plus some things I've never seen before at any other buffets, plus a Hibatchi Station and a Sushi station and don't forget about the huge chocolate fountain! Even my Sprite tasted extra good today! For the families that have that one picky person, there is a station just for American food. Oh and of course they have pizza. What buffet doesn't? :) The staff was great. Everything on the bar was full and hot and fresh. The sushi chef was spot on! Had to tip the Hibatchi chef. My fav!!! If you've never tried this place you don't know what you're missing!!

We stopped here while on a business trip. It's definitely a good place to grab lunch at a reasonable price. Especially if you are with a lot of people or people who want different things! I was surprised by how many options they had. There were multiple hot food bars, a sushi bar, a cold food bar as well as desserts. My favorite was the hibachi station. Here you can fill your plate with a number of different options on a buttet style line, from noodles and meats to veggies and sauces. They cook it on a large grill in front of you. (a sped up version of a traditional hibachi experience) I really liked the cook that was there, he was nice and remembered my preferences when I went up. I was also able to customize my meal per my dietary preferences which was nice. The rest of the food was good, what you would expect from Asian buffet restaurant. The main appeal was the options offered. It was also about $10 for lunch and included a soda. This is the type of restaurant where you pay at the entrance and help yourself. There are staff around filling drinks and clearing plates, but they are not engaged in the traditional server role.

Checking this place out next weekend. What's the best time to go when trying to avoid a crowd?

This is probably the best buffet in the Nashville area. More items than anywhere else and most of the stuff is very good. My favorite way to eat there is to load up a plate and hand it to the grill man. The best time ? Eleven o'clock AM, or Three PM

So visiting Nashville, took a stab at finding decent buffet chinese anywhere, much less Music City.

From the lights, to the furniture, prices and of course the picture board menu above the counter. Everything about China Village screamed old school and also "this about to be good"! Sitting in a small, worn out shopping plaza just off of Highway 41/Dickerson, China Village is a solid spot for cheap, plentiful and tasty Chinese takeout. It is not much to look at and if you can get past the bars on the windows, you are in store for a treat. Delivery is not offered currently and you can technically eat in, but while there are tables there, it is not really set up for a good dine-in experience. I rang them up on a Friday evening to order (2) Sesame Chicken plates and (1) Large Wonton Soup. From order to arrival was about 20 minutes, and it was hot and ready! Overall, we are new to this side of town and while the whole "no delivery" thing is a bummer, China Village is definitely our go-to spot for a cheap and tasty Chinese night in.

The one star has nothing to do with the fact that I had to make my gun accessible in my car, because of the hood rats walking around. This soup should be illegal. It looks like they used a little bit of the sewage as part of the recipe. I hope inspection comes by and shuts this place down. They don't deserve to be open another day. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful, tossing the whole order out.

I usually stay away from pho at Thai spots, but my husband ordered it and it was actually really good, with a flavorful broth that surprised us both. My favorite dish of the night was the Panang Curry. I haven't had Thai curry in years because it's been so disappointing in middle TN, but I decided to give this one a shot and I'm so glad I did. It tasted fresh, the sweet coconut milk came through without being heavy, and the chicken was incredibly tender. They don't skimp on meat or portions here - we left full and happy. We'll definitely be back. Sorry I don't have photos. As soon as I saw the food, I could tell it was authentic and got too excited!

I don't want dumbed down ethnic food, I want it to be authentic. I got summer rolls & a small veggie Tom Kha Gai soup. I got everything to go. I went to my iron infusion at Vanderbilt Hendersonville then waited until I was hooked up & alone to eat. When I saw my food I was kinda shocked. $20 for about six bites of summer rolls & five to six tablespoon fulls of soup was disappointing. These rolls are the smallest I've ever seen. There was so much rice paper & so little filling! The soup was not a favorite either as it was extremely sweet. Tom Kha can be sweet, but this was like sugary milk water. There were hardly any veggies in the tiny styrofoam cup as well. All in all, the best part of this experience was the lady who took my order. Everything else could have been avoided & will in the future.

We enjoyed it so much that we went the next day before we left! The food is priced very fairly and the menu has a really fun twist where there isn't the traditional appetizer, main, dessert. Everything is meant to be shared and you're encouraged to try new dishes and choose from anywhere on the menu. I have a peanut allergy and they were very accommodating and automatically made any necessary adjustments to dishes we ordered. We tried a couple different drinks and they were all very good and fairly priced. We went on weekend nights and only had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated indoors, which was to be expected as this place was packed with people and we would have been willing to wait longer if needed. We had two different servers, I unfortunately can't remember our first one's name but she was the one with stretched ears that normally wears her hair up. She was great and very thorough in explaining how the menu worked. The second night we had Lexi and she was super sweet. They were both fantastic and I hope to be seated with either one of them when we eventually go back!
