Went with 10 of us, the food was good, from the apps to soups to entrees. It did take forever to come out, literally 55 minutes, but our server was great. Sea bass is excellent. Have gone back several times to have it. However lunch which I've done several time is not worth it. Went with a large Group and the comments were so so. If you're looking for speedy service, this is not the place. Our server moved slower than a 90-year-old driver in CantaMia... actually, come to think of it, maybe those drivers are faster. The wait for food felt endless, and when it finally arrived, it was a letdown. The fish and chips were atrocious - super greasy, soggy, and barely edible. The kind of meal that makes you regret skipping the frozen section at the grocery store. I was hoping the oysters would make up for it, but at their prices, you'd think we were dining in Scottsdale. News flash: we're in Goodyear, not the waterfront, and certainly not paying for ocean-view real estate. This place had only been open about a week when I visited so I'll give them the benefit of working out the kinks. Our waitress came over pretty quickly but only asked if she could get us anything...a drink please. The drinks took at least 15 minutes and they weren't busy. Drinks were dropped off but our order was not taken. She finally came by to see if we needed anything and I said we'd like to order. Again appetizers took at least 20 minutes but I will say the oysters on the half were outstanding as was the Brussels sprouts. Dinner finally came but my dad's salad never came so he asked for it to cancel it. Well they brought it anyway, good thing cause his main entree salmon never came. First time there. It has a ton of seating, at the bar also. Very clean. Their menu seems to have everything "under the sea". We had shrimp cocktail and Rockefellar Oysters, delish! Our mains were the Chilean Sea Bass and the Parmesan Crusted Halibut (a special that night) both on risotto but different sauces, wine, and a chocolate tart and key lime pie. All selections were well presented and delicious. Now for our server Shelby. We give her a 5-star rating. Shelby kept us updated on our orders, explained her menu precisely and gave well received recommendations. Extremely attentive, professional, and very personable. Visited Father's Day...was not a pleasure! What seafood restaurant doesn't have clams on the menu....not in soup....not in hot brine to crack open...just some canned, chopped thrown in certain meal orders. When does Key lime pie, everyone has had a piece to think about, come with lime pudding between the crust? This not only disappointed me but am sure the people in Louisiana are upset. What has happened to one of our favorite places? Last night was a nightmare! Previously reserved for our group, but restaurant was totally unprepared. It took an hour and twenty minutes for appetizers to arrive after being ordered and the entrees another hour. Beverage and water refills took forever and were inconsistent. Despite being seated a half hour prior to Happy (Crabby) Hour, prices were not honored due to delays by restaurant staff. Love love the bar at early afternoon (bar tenders are great!!). Two weeks ago took fam to dinner ordered fillet mignon around and it tasted & looked like pot roast. Went for lunch today had spinach/beet salad w/grilled shrimp. Shrimp wasn't grilled (have no clue how it was cooked) and looked & tasted awful (sent it back and they took the same shrimp and put something on it to make it look grilled) and salad had no beets. This is a beautiful new restaurant and we recently experienced it on the second day it was open. We did not realize that it was only the second day, but it explained the slow service. We had a fantastic waiter who came by frequently. He noted because it was only their second day that things were still getting worked out in the kitchen. We didn't mind the wait and we think it was our waiter that made the difference. We were there for happy hour and enjoyed ice cold beer. Our appetizers were calamari and may I say it was excellent. So much so that we ordered a second round of it. We each had a cup of clam chowder which rivaled clam chowder that we've enjoyed in San Francisco and Boston. The only issue we had with the clam chowder was we thought it could've been hotter. It was served warm and cooled as we ate it. Our 2nd appetizer- the crabcake was shared betweenthe four of us, we thought it was OK - it had a bit too much lemon. Doesn't mean that we wouldn't order it on another visit to give another chance. Can I talk to you about the bread? You could have just a meal out of that hot sourdough bread and butter. Really really good. Lastly, we ordered edamame w a spicy finish. While we only enjoyed the cold beer -the bar is a sight. Just beautiful and heavily stocked with premium liquors. This will be a go to restaurant to impress our out of town visitors. My husband and I joined my friends for my best friends birthday here on June 23rd. We were a group of 10 people total. My husband and I both ordered the 16oz Prime New York medium and when it came out it was near well done. There was barely any pink. When we told the manager if we could please have them remade she argued that the steaks were medium. When they clearly weren't. Everyone at the table agreed that they were almost well done. Why was it so hard for the manager to just say, "I apologize for that we will get them remade to what you ordered" ? Once she took the plates of steak in her hands she looked at them and said "YUP medium!" Really??? She said they would be out right away and that was a lie. It took well over 30 minutes for our steaks to come out and by that time everyone at the table was done eating. Our whole group was very disappointed in the service. Also not even one of the steaks was taken off our bill for their mess up and making us wait over half an hour for them to be remade. We spent near $200 for just my husband and I for terrible service from the manager and an okay steak. We won't be returning. If you do come here and want your steak medium I would suggest ordering it rare to save yourself the headache. read more

Well it's not bad, but not great. We went in a Thursday around Noon and there was maybe 8 people in the entire restaurant. The service was good I think in part because there was nobody there to slow them down. We had the calamari sticks, fish tacos, and the halibut sandwich. Again, nothing was bad, but it wasn't great. The batter on the fish for both the tacos and the sandwich was very bland. The tacos were just in a basic tortilla, not even grilled and the weird part is it came with white rice and a bowl of Refried beans or some kind of bean dish. I've never been to a restaurant where they serve that with fish tacos, unless it was a Mexican restaurant. The beans were terrible. The white rice was bland and again the tacos were just OK. The fries came out as basic frozen french fries that looked like McDonald's fries, but definitely not as good. The atmosphere was rough. They literally played Perry Como type music from the 50s it made it feel like a old folks retirement home and at the time we were the youngest people in there and we are in our late 40s. I would love to see this place succeed, but based on what we saw today, I would rather go across the street to the Stillery or copper and Sage. we were looking forward to dining at High Tide, Goodyear. Here is why we were very disappointed. Went during happy hour. Ordered a bowl of Lobster Bisque. Server suggests we try a sample first because many customers refuse the soup. the sample tasted like cheese soup--no lobster or sherry taste at all. Not one scrap of lobster in the sample. We thanked her for the heads up and ordered a bowl of clam chowder. Once again she suggested we try it first. The sample was very salty and had no clam taste at all. Our next choice was ceviche. Once again we were advised to try it first because of the number of refused dishes. On to our third choice. The happy hour menu says oysters on the half shell, 2 dollars, chefs choice. We ordered a dozen and asked what oysters we were getting. Server said pick what you want. We choose from the four varieties on the menu and they were good. When we got the bill, the oysters were $4.50 each. when I asked why they were not $2.00 like the menu states, she said those are only for Blue Points. Very deceptive and like a Bait and Switch scam. So we ordered an entree, fish and chips, and were told they were out of the fish!!!! All and all, a crazy dining experience with nothing matching the menu descriptions and food quality sub par. We will probably go back and give them a second chance but I do not have any confidence that we will get a satisfactory dining experience. read more

We ate here on oyster day! Really good and fresh oysters that were shucked properly and served really cold. My wife hade the halibut fish and chips and they were cooked perfectly and had three pieces. I also had the ceviche and it was very good and also huge. Waitress was very friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I read people unhappy about speed of service but, this is not fast food! I so want this place to succeed. Stopped by for lunch yesterday. The restaurant itself is very nice. Huge great looking bar. The food. The calamari looked like mozzarella sticks. I had never had calamari in that shape before. Usually they are rings and tentacles. They were ok. I had the fish tacos - not great. The tortilla was cold and hard so as soon as you picked it up it cracked and the fish fell out. The breading fell off the fish from too much sauce. The fish itself was tender the rest of the taco not great. Came with rice. Rice was cold and had hardened and stuck together - so if you scooped some up it broke off in chunks it was no good. Also came with a side of beans, skipped that all together. Friend had fish and chips they enjoyed that. Never offered a cocktail menu - so not sure if they have one. Maybe dinner is better than lunch ? I will give this place another try. Again nice restaurant space. read more

This place recently opened so I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt....but it was not good. Service was slow, which I expected with a new business. They forgot our drinks after we ordered them. Had to remind the waiter, who then brought them. Ordered clam chowder which was awful. Way too thick and had almost no clams or potatoes. Ordered a double cut pork chop which was WAY overcooked. Dry and burnt. They did remove it from the bill when I showed it to the waiter. My wife ordered the salmon which was good, so there is that.
