A friend and I decided to try High Tide Harry's on a Wednesday during happy hour. The interior reminds me of many of the fun restaurants you might stumble across in the keys. Service was also great and very quick. On Wednesdays, raw and steamed oysters are only $1 each, while oysters Rockefeller are $2 each. These were well worth it and very delicious. I definitely plan on going back for such a great deal. The fired gator bites and pickles were also pretty good and I appreciated the complimentary hush puppies, which while a little dry, tasted great with the cinnamon butter. Their bar also made a great margarita.
As a longtime Central Floridian, I feel it is a crime that I didn't know about High Tide Harris. I went for the first time with my coworkers for lunch. It was actually recommended by the CEO of my workplace. I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint because the food was delicious. They serve seafood and their menu is extensive including daily specials. This spot has character for sure from the outside to the inside the decorations stand out. The theme is all about the sea and it adds to the experience. Since we went for lunch, we ordered from their lunch menu. Some got popcorn shrimp, oysters, peel and eat shrimp and more. The things we ordered came with two sides. I ordered the fries and coleslaw but I also got a chance to try the fried okra and it was good. Oh and you get complimentary hushpuppies. That's a great way to start your visit. Service was great and prices were even better. There's indoor and outdoor seating plus a bar area. Definitely check it out.
High Tide Harry's delivers! We were in Orlando and wanted a non touristy place to eat. Hit up AI and High Tide Harry's came up. We were not disappointed. Our waitress awesome! I wish I could remember her name. She was friendly, had great recommendations and was just an overall wonderful person. We stared off with Oysters Rockefeller; delicious! Followed the orocks up with some raw oysters that came from Louisiana. They were fanatic! We are from New England and typically have smaller oysters. These had such a good flavor to them and were really good and had a nice texture. We had the Seafood Gumbo which was really good. I had the fish tacos and those were seasoned perfectly and tasted really good. This is such a great place to eat! We sat in the bar area at a high top and really enjoyed it!
Haven't been to High Tide Harry's in over 10 years. So glad they were on Bite30 to get me back over. We started with seared ahi tuna and crab stuffed mushrooms. We also added a half dozen oysters Rockefeller from the regular menu. All three appetizers were delicious. I ordered a key lime pie martini and it was divine! I'm not much for sweet drinks but this one won my heart. I chose the grouper for my entree with a side salad and baked potato. Their bleu cheese dressing is excellent. The grouper was a little too salty for me but was still moist and flaky. I was so full that I took home plenty for lunch tomorrow along with my key lime pie dessert. Our server Nikki was pleasant and helpful. All in all a great experience and reminded me how much I liked this restaurant. Will be back for sure.
In all the years we've come to Orlando for some reason had never come here. It's a typical fish place, Florida diner, but I thought the variety of offerings and the quality of the food would have warranted several visits. We got the hush puppies, conch fritters, grilled mahi, and the blue crab. The portions aren't large by American standards m but everything was served hot, well cooked and good tasting. They have a great line up of daily specials. Good service, good atmosphere. Plenty of parking available. Recommend.
Today for lunch we decided to go to High Tide Harry's. When we walked in it was decorated colorfully and we were greeted by the host. We were seated and our drinks were served. The waitress also brought us some hush puppies with cinnamon for an appetizer. The cinnamon butter was good and creamy. A few moments later we were served our lunch specials. My husband ordered the Blackened Maui Sandwich and I got the Clam Strip Platter. Both of our dishes came out piping hot which we were pleased with. My husband said his sandwich was good and he seemed to enjoy it. My clam strips were good too, even though I prefer them to be more on the crispy side. Overall the food was average and I don't mind paying for average food at lunch prices. It was a nice break from eating fast food for lunch.
High Tide Harry's is one of those classic Orlando restaurants that never disappoints. We started with the complimentary hush puppies and cinnamon butter, which were dangerously good. The charbroiled oysters were loaded with garlic butter, Parmesan and Old Bay, and the crab legs came out hot, meaty and easy to crack. Portions are generous, the seafood tastes fresh, and the service is friendly and attentive. The colorful nautical décor gives it a fun, casual Old Florida feel that fits the restaurant perfectly. High Tide Harry's has been serving Orlando since 1995, and it's easy to understand why locals continue coming back.
High Tide Harry's is always a win. I've been coming here since the Colonial location (back in the 2000s), and the quality has never dropped. I ordered the cake crab (easily one of the top five crab cakes I've ever had), coconut shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, and a salad... every single item was outstanding. You also can't forget the hush puppies that come with the cinnamon butter (complimentary!!!) the perfect mix of sweet and savory and honestly one of my favorite things on the table. The service was great, even though it was busy, the food came out fast, our sides and hush puppies were brought out quickly, and drinks came right on time. Adrianna was attentive and kept everything moving smoothly. My husband had the ribeye with broccoli and grilled shrimp, and his steak was cooked perfectly. Amazing food, great service, and a place we'll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
Only downside was i was little under the weather and just overcame a bout w beef taco gone wrong. However, the grilled snapper was sizable portion and garlic mash potatoes were good. The fish could have been improved had it come w some flavor as it was a little bland. The steamed spinach wasn't steam but maybe boiled. All things equal I was a little congested and while my sense of taste and smell was present it is possible they were not at peak and altered the taste. That said, wife had a seafood boil. From it I tasted the corn which was good and a crab leg, also tasty. Not too spicy perfect for my wife while I prefer a little more heat! We also ordered lobster bites and which I had 1 and it tasted good as well. The service was great. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan to try again.
Loved High Tide Harry's! Their $35 Tuesday special was absolutely fantastic! We had buffalo shrimp, gator tail, crab cake, clam chowder, mac & cheese, and fries--all delicious with very generous portions. The fun ocean-themed decor gives the whole restaurant a cool, laid-back coastal feast, and the service was super friendly and accommodating to provide exceptionally quick service before a flight. Definitely worth a stop!
I love this place! A great stop for a meal when you fly in to MCO! The food and service are always outstanding . A fishbowl full of beer, does it get any better? Their special hand cleaner takes away all the shellfish yuk!
This was my first meal in Orlando for our girls trip and I'm so happy we came here! We were craving seafood after a long flight over so we ordered quite a bit off the menu (only took a few pictures because we were too hungry to wait). We ordered clam chowder, gumbo, a dozen oysters, a dozen clams, conch fritters, fried alligator, crab dip, and oysters rockefeller. The only thing I would skip next time is the fried alligator but the rest of them were so good! I especially loved the conch fritters. They were hot and crispy and seasoned well. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went so we were able to get a table quickly and our waiter was super attentive and kept checking in on us. It's pretty dark inside but the decorations are pretty cool. I would definitely label this as a themed restaurant given how much decorations there are. I will definitely be back here if I'm in Orlando again!
Friday, 06/13/2026, at approximately 4:00 PM, we arrived and were seated promptly. The restaurant was not very busy, and most of the tables were empty. After placing our order, we waited approximately 30 minutes to receive our appetizers and soft drinks. After that, more than an hour passed without receiving our meals. During that time, no one provided an update on our order, and it appeared that we had been forgotten. I eventually had to get up from my table and ask to speak with a manager. The manager was polite and explained that due to a computer glitch, the kitchen had never received our order. She stated that the food could be prepared immediately. I thanked the manager and offered to pay for the appetizers and beverages so that we could leave and dine elsewhere. The manager declined payment for the appetizers and drinks and said she understood why we chose to go to another restaurant. While I appreciate the manager's professionalism and courtesy, we left disappointed due to the lengthy wait, the lack of communication, and the failure of our order to reach the kitchen. What little we did eat was mediocre and nothing to brag about :(

Excellent local restaurant to get seafood. Went at 6 PM got seated right away and service was awesome. We never needed to wait for anything. The King Crab was amazing with garlic butter. read more

Honestly, I was pretty excited to come here because the the reviews I seen on Yelp and google. The staff was very nice but the food was horrible. I ordered the captain's seafood combo and the shrimp and fish tacos. The sides for meals included green beans, coleslaw, corn on the cob and garlic mash potatoes. Sadly to say, nothing tasted good. The food tasted like someone just dump way to much old bay seasoning on it. Maybe it was a bad night for the chief or I ordered the wrong items. Even so, I probably might try this place again but instead just stick to the crab and shrimp boil. The scenery and staff were nice. read more
I came to High Tide Harry's for one thing and one thing only: Oyster. Happy. Hour. And they did not disappoint. I walked into the restaurant at 3:35 and left at 4:00 sharp. Donna, my server, was a force of nature. Every time she walked anywhere even remotely near me, she was checking in on me. My oysters were out in no time flat, and they were real good. I also got complimentary hush puppies with cinnamon-sugar butter for the table, which were delicious. The service was so prompt that I hardly had time to get halfway through my first glass of water before I left. And none of this is to say I was rushed--I took my sweet time. The service was just THAT fast. I need to go back and try some of their other seafood options, but if you're looking for a place with a good oyster happy hour, they have it here from Tuesday-Sunday, 2-6pm. And again, I cannot stress this enough, Donna deserves a raise. read more

Nice bartenders and clean restaurant. We ordered the crab fingers. We weren't thrilled with them. They needed flavor. Even salt would have worked. We also had the peel and eat shrimp with old Bay. They just sprinkled a little old bay over the top. Needed alot more flavor. The best thing we got was the key lime pie. It was delicious. read more

Awesome dinner on our way to the Orlando airport. You can't beat the prices, and their menu was huge. We went on a Tuesday night and enjoyed the $3 house frozen margs, great appetizers, and the 2 for $25 meal. It included an app, 2 entrees, and 4 sides! It was a great deal. The server was very warm and friendly, despite it being her first day on the job. We had challenges getting our check, but I think it was due to having the new waitress. I will certainly be back to High Tide Harry's when I'm back in the area! read more
This is my 4th time here. The food is pretty darn good. It's a casual atmosphere - good for families. Everything I have ever ordered here has exceeded my expectations. The outside looks cheesy and almost cost them my visit LOL. But I'm so glad I looked past it. Wednesday is .99 cent oyster day. You can't beat that. They also have about 10 craft beers on HH for less than $3! read more

Absolutely must visit this place when in Orlando!! Our server was so friendly and patient with us. Food...excellent!! We got the seafood boil special and shared it amongst us 2 and it was plentiful! Lick your fingers good! read more

I had the friend sampler plate after sending back an avocado stuffed with crab as the avocado was black and past it's use by date for sure. The sampler came out Luke warm. I ate half of it and it was just awful. Ended up in the Winter Garden Florida Hospital the next evening thinking I had the flu. Turned out it was food poisoning. One of the two ladies I dined with was also vomiting and had severe stomach cramps and all that goes with it. We will never return to High Tide Harry's it was mediocre at best while we were there and the after effects are 100% unacceptable. Both of us will file complaints with the health department tomorrow. read more

I attended a friend's birthday party here. Prior to this visit, it has been a bit of time since frequenting this restaurant. So I had a fish bowl of beer and started with their blue stew, a tomato based crab soup. For my entree, I had the Captain's platter, blackened with a side salad and a loaded baked potato. All in all a good meal, though getting a Ken's salad dressing in a package took away from the ambiance a bit. The servers were friendly and made some great recommendations. read more

My brother and I visited after an employee at our hotel recommended it. We had the chargrilled oysters as an app and they are great. My brother tried old bay crab legs which he said were very good. I had the crabcake and it was ok. They have many specials and the servers are very friendly. Stop in for happy hour and try the oysters they are really tasty. read more

High tide Harry's is incredible! Every time we go the service is to die for! The owner paid the servers during the pandemic when it was closed a livable wage it was on the news! This is a very local spot! The fish is just delicious! Everything here is good! The place is a little pricy! Masks are required! Waitresses and wait staff all wear masks! This is a foodie favorite highly recommend! read more
I ate here for the first time the other day and I was impressed with the value and the selection. Tuna is always a big deal to me and when it's not fresh you can tell. This was very fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the oysters. They have daily happy hours and the prices were great! The oysters were also on happy hour so it was only $12.95 for a dozen! Nothing was sacrificed due to the lower price point. The food and service were great! This is right outside the airport so it's a great stop if you're waiting for your plane or if you're local looking for fresh seafood! read more

Hubs and I stopped by here on New Year's Eve for lunch. I hadn't been here in years and years as we live fairly far away now. Our experience was average. Service was friendly and speedy. It looked like they were adhering to covid-19 guidelines as staff was wearing masks, hand sanitizer was available ... But we were seated closer to other tables than I would have preferred. As for the food, it was ok, but honestly, not particularly exciting or delicious. The hush puppies were too dense for me, I prefer mine to be much lighter. Hubs really enjoyed the cinnamon butter they came with though. I ordered the garlic shrimp with mashed potatoes and the marinated cukes. I was not impressed with the mashed potatoes, they were clearly instant, and not even doctored up. The shrimp was ok, a good size and cooked well, but not very flavorful which was disappointing. Hubs got clam strips and said they tasted good but were pretty standard for fried clams. The ambiance was exactly the same as the last time I went so points for continuity. read more

I read an article about the owner not taking a paycheck to keep his staff employed and decided to show them some love. Really wish we hadn't. While the place was designed to look fun, it's really all about the food and this food was lacking, the raw oysters arrived with a live worm of some kind crawling around in one of them, not exactly appetizing. It was most definitely our mistake not to ask the market price of the king crab snow crab platter, but we got a little sticker shock when the bill arrived and it was just a hair under $100. While I expect king crab to be expensive, that was excessively expensive. And the sad part is that my husband chose not to finish it as the crab was cooked poorly, he chose not to take the leftovers home as he felt it was too dry to even turn into crab salad. My grouper was not good also, I isually choose fried as the fish inside the coating stays, sorry if you don't like this word, moist. But not this one, overcooked and dried out. The waiter was really attentive but did accidentally knock a basket of food onto the floor and no replacement was brought until late into the meal. While I think it's nice what the manager has done to keep the business open, I won't be back, more care needs to be given to what comes put of the kitchen. read more
Ate for the first time at High Tide Harry's and the food was delicious, service was phenomenal, and it was great having outside seating available because we had the doggy come with us. We had chargrilled oysters, shrimp poboy, and sautéed grouper. Each of the entrees came with 2 sides. I would most definitely come back again!! read more

Came back a second time and the fried green tomatoes were still a hit! We also had some seafood gumbo & it was really good. Mom had the stuffed mushroom. She really enjoyed her choice. We shall return again! read more
