I was surprised by how much seating there was in the restaurant. For the most part, it's all tables of 2, ideal for the single person looking to work remotely. However, the noise levels inside were high. The music playing was loud and I can only imagine how inconvenient it would be to try to take a zoom meeting from there. The food was very good. I had the chicken strips and it came with fries. It didn't say that it came with fries on the menu so I ended up ordering fries separately. Luckily, I had people with me to help eat it all. I had been craving fries for days and it totally satisfied my taste. It was salty and savory in the best way possible. The chicken strips were perfectly crispy and I loved the spicy dipping sauce with it. The place was very clean. There is a gender neutral bathroom stall as well as a ladies restroom. I really enjoyed this place for the Lik chiky sando, but aside from that I feel the business could do better. My boyfriend and I came for a brunch date and the environment was a bit chaotic. The cafe itself is a fairly decent size and there are a lot of places to sit but everywhere was occupied. The line was not very organized, while waiting in line we got bumped into a few times by customers who were passing by as well as some of the staff (not their fault of course and they excused themselves). It is however difficult to find a spot to sit depending on the time and day you arrive. Especially when parties of 1 person might be taking up an entire booth to themselves. We ordered a coffee and a matcha and I thought my matcha was pretty decent but it could have been stronger and the quantity of the serving size was not the best or even standard. When i had come before it was served in a tall glass and this time it came in a tiny round glass. Our orders were not to go, but our servings were quite small, and we almost regret not ordering to go so that we could have had a bit more of the serving for our drinks. My boyfriend tried the new burger and that was something we deeply regretted. The size was incredibly small and we expected a delicious good quality burger, but it honestly looked like an in n out burger but an in n out burger would have had more to offer. This burger was tiny and simple. If my boyfriend had not ordered fries, he would have been very hungry the rest of the day. But the fries were also not good quality, they were not fresh they seemed as if they'd come out of a bag. We spent around 65$ and the only great thing about the meal was the chicken sandwhich that did taste fresh and the quality and size was good. They have an excellent natural wine selection and the food has always done me right. The music is always great and the staff is lovely. The literal only reason I'm writing a 4 star review instead of 5 is because I came in on a rare Saturday night to get some work done, and I am chagrined to learn there's no wifi on the weekend. I guess I understand the rationale, but as I sit here at 6:00 pm, there is no line for ordering, and there are no fewer than 30 seats available. I intended to stay til closing and eat while I work, but now I have to go somewhere else to do that. I'm just one person, but thought my input might be helpful to management. This was the first restaurant I found in walking distance of my airbnb, so I ate here on Fourth of July. Idkkk, I don't hate it, but it definitely gives influencer paradise. Lots of people kept on their sunglasses. The inside is really beautiful, but not super clean. They have stools at the counter, but there's also no space to put your legs? They play dreamy, 50's ish sounding music. The prices are a bit high to me. We got the fish + chips and the chicken tenders, $17 each. Both were interesting remixes of classics. The batter was extra crispy, like tempura. The chicken came with a size of yuzu aoli and it was so good! I wish I had THAT in my life instead of the copious amounts of ranch I've consumed over the last 3 decades. With drinks (iced hibiscus tea + honey lavender latte) we spent just short of $50 and though things were good, I don't know that $50 felt right for lunch at a cafe. I didn't try for wi-fi, but I read they don't let you use it on the weekend, which I think is kinda weird, tbh. It's like those parties where you're made to lock your phone in a pouch. I ordered the brussels and was notified that they were out. That was my only disappointment. To drink they had a ton of wine, but I decided to get a mocha. This queen could "make" a mocha! When I saw the chocolate goo, homemade in a plastic container, I knew that my mocha would be "da bomb" and it was. I watched as she worked her magic making mocha after mocha and knew why people were oohing and ahhing over their drinks. I wish she'd come up to the bay and teach people a thing or two. The sad powdery chocolate or thin syrup's used just don't cut it. It's a cute yet gentrifying spot that has a cute vibe. The were quite busy, but there always seemed to be a seat. Also, they do a brisk to go business, which was encouraging. There were boxes all over the place (wine/coffee/food). This is a very pretty cafe to get work done or meet up with others. Caution that the music is decently loud, so I would recommend bringing headphones or sitting outside if that bothers you. This cafe is somewhere in between a restaurant, coffee shop, and wine bar. When I went for lunch on a Friday, half the crowd was there for lunch and half the crowd seemed to be working there as a coffee shop. Their food menu is fairly large, and I tried the grilled cheese sandwich. It was a very delicious and elevated grilled cheese so that was definitely worth it! The side of fries and iced latte were also tasty, and overall I enjoyed everything that I ate there. The indoor space is pretty but they had a ton of boxes everywhere and it was fairly crowded inside. There's an outdoor patio as well, but there's been construction across the street which is fairly loud. You can find free street parking nearby, although it does get busy at times so you may need to walk a block or two. read more

I have mixed feelings about Highly Likely. On the one hand, I think the space is incredibly beautiful. I love the tree inside, as well as the range of seating available and projector screen. Aside from the ambiance, the things I like about Highly Likely are that there is usually a lot of street parking in the area and their offering of outlets. I do like studying here (BUT they do apparently turn off the Wi-Fi on the weekends, so something to keep in mind). However, the things I don't like about Highly Likely are the service, menu offerings, and overall vibe. The employees are a little cold and dry with an attitude that makes it feel like they're better than you. The food and drinks are also disappointing. The descriptions sound really good but end up being lackluster. I feel like everything tastes bland and watered down, from their lattes to their bowls. The prices also aren't cheap, so I would prefer going elsewhere. Lastly, the environment feels very cluttered, disorganized, and dirty. I don't love Highly Likely but I do find myself still coming back, so take that as you will. read more

At this location, my party of three ordered the following: BTLA, Grilled Cheese, Mediterranean Eggs, and Black Sesame Waffles. Now mind you, the three of us girls know how to eat. The portions at Highly Likely were very substantial so this was a lot of food. Our server brought out four sets of utensils LOL. My personal favorites were the Mediterranean Eggs and Black Sesame Waffles. The eggs were served on a bed of hummus and tahini, fried pita, and a simple salad that had the zestiest, citrusy bomb of flavor that was to die for. I loved eating the eggs with the hummus/tahini with the fried pita. What a delightful way to eat eggs. The Black Sesame Waffles were baked perfectly and a huge portion. It was served with a hearty dollop of sweet butter and syrup on the side. UGH, it was so good! Where do I even begin?! This place literally was such a rejuvenating and refreshing experience! We got to the place a little early (like 7:45 AM which is before their opening time) but the workers their let us in before since it was pouring. I was immediately in awe as I walked in. The lighting was beautiful! Nothing to overwhelming, bright, or dark! It literally has the perfect lighting! There is soooo much seating and while at first I thought there were no outlets, I was surprised to find some hidden underneath their little couch booths! The place, environment, and vibes overall are AMAZING! I felt so welcomed and at peace! The playlist at the time was also chefs kiss! I wish I would have gotten the names of the people working that day as they had a huge part in the entire experience! Their menu is pretty good too! They have small dishes and a good selection of coffees/drinks! I had their Bodega sandwhich and as an egg lover, I enjoyed it so much! Their side of sauce is suuuuper spicy but sooo good! Definitely would get again and might even get the bacon add on! For a drink, I got their Chai Latte and I immediately fell in love! It easily takes a space in my top three! At first it was unsweetened but the barista let me know we could add sweetener afterwards and that made the biggest difference for me! The drink as a whole is just perfect - from its smell to its presentation to its taste - I couldn't ask for anything more! To sum it up, you NEED to visit, at least one. I would have preferred the more mild taste of articokes that aren't marinated. The chicken cutlet was extremely small and came in a pile of lemon-soggy arugula. It was definitely not worth 16 dollars. My friend was left unsatisfied despite this being an employee recommendation. Otherwise, service was mediocre. I wish there was table service.
