Went for coffee and to use some WiFi to explore my options. It's a very small store attached to some sort of apartment building or something of that nature... there aren't many seats so if it's prime time don't get your hopes up. I wasn't expecting this at all based on the images and reviews. But I made the best of it... the coffee was ok, nothing special. Tasted watered down. I had a macaroon after having a French toast Sammy. Do not get, mine was hard as a rock. It had no flavor and the "maple syrup" was non existent. The staff was super nice and helpful kept the place clean! I wouldn't go back, the atmosphere isn't nice and relaxing. There are plenty of other places to have coffee.

    Early Grey is my favorite!

This is the coffee shop I come to every morning! Their macarons are incredibly light and fragrant--not overly sweet at all. Earl Grey is my absolute favorite! The atmosphere is very comfortable, and I truly, truly love their macarons the most.

First time here, and I was pleasantly surprised by their coffee. I tried the Irish Hazelnut Iced Latte and the Hazelnut White Chocolate; both were delicious, and the espresso definitely gave a nice kick. We also ordered two breakfast burritos: the chicken burrito and the egg burrito. The chicken burrito is the winner; the egg one wasn't quite up to the same quality. Overall, a clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Great study spot as well.

Honey Latte with almond milk. 12 ounces (small size). $5.45.

Five stars for Himalayan Java Coffee because: 1. Our barista Sammy, short for Samiksha, was super friendly and excellent. 2. The cafe's beans are organic and come from Nepal, in the Himalayas. They're grown and roasted there. Unique. 3. Revenues go to support Nepali farmers. 4. The Honey Latte with almond milk that I had was fantastic. It cost $5.45 for a small size (12 ounces). Great quality. The cafe's menu has a lot to offer including white coffee. Himalayan Java's white coffee is, according to their menu, "a low-temperature roasted coffee bean that is whitish in color with a higher caffeine and antioxidant content. It has a nutty and sweet taste profile." If we return, I'm going to try it. Most drinks are available in 12, 16, and 20-ounce sizes. The cafe also serves food: breakfast sandwiches ($7.99 each), breakfast burritos ($7.99 each), and paninis ($10.99 each). This location of Himalayan Java originally opened in July 2018 in Lynnwood. It relocated to downtown Seattle in August 2022, opening inside the ground level of the Spire luxury high-rise condominium building. The space is small, but very nice -- consistent with the luxe feel of the Spire property. Seating, inside and out, is limited. During our visit, business hours were 7am-6pm daily. Needless to say, I'm a fan of this place and recommend it.

A small coffee shop attached to a hotel. The barista was lovely and made a delicious cortado! Perfect temperature and flavor.

Seattle AKA Coffee Capital?! You have earned your name! Himalayan is one of my FAVORITE Coffee Shops, and I'm so glad my bf lives a block away. WHITE COFFEE BEAN You read that correctly, but read it again-- not white coffee, but white coffee BEAN that they grind to make espresso. It has a distinctive, divine flavor that tickles your taste buds into the fourth dimension. The first time I tried it, I was immediately hooked. It wasn't sour bitter or dreadful like most terrible over roasted beans (no shade, maybe). I prefer my white coffee bean with sweeter drinks like the Raspberry or Lavender. If you want just OG latte or Americano, that works too. Besides drinks, they sell pastries and foods in reasonably priced combos etc. I've tried the cornettos/croissants pastries and they were fluffy, fresh, and crisp- chef's kiss Himalayan is connected to an apartment high rise with its own space for a few tables/chairs with a high ceiling. Bright and airy, how I like my cafe interiors. Service was always quick and friendly. I think it could be family run? Definitely a local mom-and-pop store, so come thru and support your Seattleites!

Perfect spot to work all day or to meet a friend. Excellent coffee drinks. They also have Macarani pastries. The bathroom is on the third floor...so there's that, but very clean! Enjoy!

I was in the area and need breakfast and a drink. So I went into here and got a croissant and latte. They also have macarons. Maybe next time. Friendly barista and airy space and plenty to sit and chill. Got my food fairly quickly and did not stay.

Quick pit stop for caffeine before heading for movie at Pacific Science Center, it's inside the swanky thin Condos, in the lobby to be exact. Maps confuse the heck out of you :p Got Latte and Zebra Latte- both tasted good.. They do have lot other options for coffee, tea and alcohol too.

    Iced Matcha Latte

NEVER order the matcha here it is basically straight milk! A pathetic excuse for matcha

Such a cute little coffee place in downtown! Perfect for meeting up with someone or wanting a quiet place to work/study. Not to mention the friendly barista. Came here to work for a few hours and ordered the zebra mocha with almond milk and it tasted great - the coffee is pretty strong and a bit overpowering in flavor but nothing too bad for true coffee lovers. On the way out I got an iced dirty chai and appreciated the barista asking if I also wanted that with almond milk. The dirty chai is also pretty strong in flavor. Recommend stopping by if in the area or if looking for a quiet place to work/study.

Friendly service and clean establishment! I love the coffee shops who offer real cups if were to stay and sip. I got mine to go though. They do charge $1 for milk substitutions which is really expensive compared to many others. I've never seen that high of a charge elsewhere. Reason for minus one star. Got the hazelnut white chocolate iced coffee which was pretty good imo. Patroned as I stayed at a hotel nearby and thought I'd try.

    Honey latte, breakfast burrito

We needed a quick breakfast and this was a great place. Our coffee orders, honey latte and caramel macchiato, were delicious. We noticed after the fact that they had seasonal options as well which I probably would have gone with one of those instead. The pastry was really good but I didn't really like the breakfast burrito. It was missing flavor or some type of sauce so I wouldn't get that again. Otherwise, the service was great. Everything was brought out to us and they had a lot of cute seating areas as well.

My feet were killing me and I was hot and sweaty, so a little espresso break is just what I needed. The menu had some fancy sounding coffee drinks but as a purist, I opted for a plain cappuccino. Hubby got a lavender iced latte, and we decided to share both drinks. The funky baristas were so kind and welcoming, and the service was friendly (no aloof baristas here!) and fast! Think of Anchorhead as a hipster place that treats you like family. Bonus stars for this establishment being all-inclusive and welcoming! I knew I was in the right place when I saw Pride flags proudly displayed in the window and even inside the coffee bar! It's nice to support non-bigoted businesses, and Anchorhead makes no bones about the fact that they are indeed a coffee place for everyone. Misfits, outsiders, trans and more: come as you are! We were also drawn inside thanks to the big sign on the front door that read "ICE NOT WELCOME." After placing our orders, we found a seat, filled a cup with the complimentary ice water, and waited for our name to be called. Our order was ready in less than three minutes! Talk about fast service! Since we had one hot and one cold coffee, it was a good assortment to compare. I normally am not a fan of any type of flavored coffee drinks, but the lavender latte was so nice and refreshing! We got the small size, which I think it way too small. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this drink. The ice was just right, and it didn't taste too watery (as the ice melted, it did get watered down but not in a totally unpleasant way). The lavender flavor was strong yet not overpowering, and the coffee has a delicate floral aspect that complemented it well. This was a terrific espresso drink. The cappuccino was also good. The milk was foamed perfectly, and the espresso was strong and rich. I'm more of a fan of espresso with cereal / honey notes, and Anchorhead's beans lean more towards the heavily floral. This isn't a bad thing, it's just not my jam when it comes to espresso. The cappuccino was very good, but not my favorite. These coffees are crafted and artisan, and the prices match! It was very expensive for these two drinks, but that's the norm in Seattle. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here again, but it's a nice place to rest and get a dose of caffeine if you find yourself in downtown Seattle.

They clearly care about their image as they offer a free mug for first-time customers with an email sign-up. The drinks here are ok, but they average between $8-$10 each. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. We were initially enticed to visit Chaco Coffee & Tea given the mention of boba on their website. There aren't many options near Seattle Center, so having an additional one is always welcome! Walking in, unfortunately we found no mention of boba anywhere on the menu. I guess it's a future option or perhaps the website is just wrong, considering that they show photos of rolled ice cream, which they also don't serve. Ordering can be done either in person or at a kiosk near the front. There's plenty of seating and while we entered in the late afternoon, there were still several people inside settled down on laptops. Osmanthus Oolong Tea, 16oz ($6.25) - This is a very lightly sweetened beverage with plenty of fragrant flowery flavor emanating from the osmanthus. It's a really clean flavor, not quite grassy, but somewhat green in essence, coming with just a slight astringent bite towards the finish. It's a good, clean iced tea. (4/5) Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($7.50) - This latte has a nice strong balanced nutty flavor. I saw the barista pour milk into the cup up to maybe 3/4 full, so I'm surprised that the tea flavor is so strong in this drink. The milk adds tons of body but doesn't contribute an overwhelming dairy flavor. They add a lot more sugar syrup into this drink - it's probably equivalent to 75% sweet or so at a boba shop, although it's not harsh at all due to likely being pure cane syrup instead of fructose. (4/5) The tea quality at Chaco is pretty good. It's always nice to see a cafe (rather than a tea shop) with such great variety! The major downside - pricing is really high especially for some of the premium teas. It's like double the price of actual tea shops in Seattle. I guess that's the Seattle Center tax? Bathrooms - Shared with the rest of the building tenants.
