Love this place. Every time I come by the area I have to go here. I've been during dinner and lunch buffet and both are amazing. The lunch had all the food you could eat. The food was hot, spicy, and delicious. They would always make everything fresh. They bring out fresh naan for you if you ask also which is also included in the lunch special. This is my first time, and surely will not be my last! We were greeted with prompt service. I have never eaten food from this region, however, the menu was simple. Beside each dish was a description of it. Made my life easy! We were served a thin bread and 3 dipping sauces (the red tamarind is my absolute favorite now!) along side of our beverages. Our server was polite as he corrected my pronunciation of my dish. We couldn't decide on an appetizer, so got the sampler. Did not go wrong! Tried a little of everything and was not disappointed. Dinner came shortly after. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and was brave enough to try a "5" for spiciness. It had a decent kick, but if you love super spicy Mexican food, you should be ok. My husband enjoyed his Chicken Chau Chau dish which looks a lot like Lo Mein. We were too stuffed to try dessert, but the rice pudding sounded amazing! Don't be put off by the appearance from the outside looks can be very deceiving. Walk inside and the interior is classic Indian/Nepal restaurant, only negative from the whole experience was the air con wasn't working. However this did not effect the taste of the food!! Service was impeccable and very attentive from all the staff. Flavours absolutely classical Indian- we stayed with what we knew from many curry's in England. Mixed platter starter was wonderful as was the onion Bhaji , all the curry's had fantastic flavours - call out the garlic chicken. If had to say anything negative all the starters/meals could have come out at once but this was only a couple of minutes wait. Fully recommend if your in Flagstaff and not surprised they have won so many awards. read more

As many people have mentioned before this place looks like a dump from the outside. Luckily yelp suggested it and I'm glad I took its advice yet again. From its bright and eclectic decor to friendly, attentive wait staff this place I truly a treat. I've never had cuisine from Nepal/Tibet and after eating their buffet i will definitely have to open my mind to it in the future. Although the lunch buffet only had about 10 items to choose from I made sure to sample everything. Each dish had its own unique spice, texture, and aroma that i could still taste later that evening. The highlight of the meal was dessert which included little balls of dough that were dipped in some type of liquid sugar as well as a mango pudding that was probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. This place deserves a 5 star rating but I'll reserve that for when I eat here for dinner. If you ever find yourself passing through flagstaff do yourself a huge favor and stop in here. I admit I'm a sucker for pappadum and they were great. The food was served very mild which is fine for me but those who like "authentic" Indian cooking might find it a bit bland. The quality of the food has somewhat slipped. Went back there recently. I ordered malai kofta, and my wife order mattar paneer. After eating the food, I am ready to say that I can cook better. Also, the fact that they forgot to bring out the bread, even though we ordered it with everything else, and it took nearly 60 minutes to get the waiter's attention about this detail being overlooked, kind of made it a downer. He was apparently SO BUSY that he forgot to attend to his customers. We were practically finished with the food by the time we were able to call for the bill and leave as we were finished with the meal. We asked him to deduct the price from the bill as he was too late in bringing it out. We also told him that we do not want the bread. I do not need to say what happened next, but this did go up to the manager on duty. read more

Oh my goodness, this place has such good food. They have a lot of Indian food on the menu (amazing lamb biryani), but you have to try the Tibetan and Nepali food. Lamb thupka is a delicious savory soup with chunks of tender lamb, vegetables and perfectly cooked noodles. Lamb chau chau is delectable too. Yeah we like lamb. We drive miles out of our way to go through Flagstaff so we can eat here. The staff is attentive, wonderful and friendly, and explained that they were celebrating their Diwali Festival with lovely lights and flowers.
