The food is always amazing I dine in and do to go here the only Indian spot I like out here very friendly staff on top of delicious food

Second visit. Late lunchtime. Quiet. Sit down this time. Mulligatawny soup was to die for! Also ordered Butter chicken and garlic naan. Garlic naan was large and very good. Butter chicken was a large serving, could easily serve two. It was excellent. Sauce was thick, nicely spiced, and not watery like some places. Everything was sizzling hot. One suggestion, ask for spiciness with numbers 1-5. I was asked how much spice and I said mild, I probably got 2-2.5. A little hotter than I like, but perfectly edible. Asked if that was as mild as they made and waiter said I should have asked for very mild. Numbers are clearer. Main dish abt 20 min, soup was 10 min. Best Mulligatawny soup I've ever had. They also have a black lentil dal soup and a tomato based soup. Establishment has settled in and seems very nicely decorated and tables nicely presented with cloth napkins and water glasses. Booths of all sizes. Can't wait to return and try more dishes. Only wish they had combination thalis. Today was $30 for soup, naan, entree which included rice including tax. read more

The inside is really nice, I like how they set it up, it's very comfortable and new seating and tables. Well done and CLEAN. The seats are comfortable also. I think they did outstanding. Ordered first time here today just based on reviews. So we ordered chillies chicken,daal makhani,shahi paneer. Daal machining and shahi paneer was good .come to chilli chicken man it was awful felt like they have overcooked the chicken it was so hard to chew on.garlic naan and chilli naan were ok.lacha parantha was not good at all. Mango lassi has too much color in it.we did order pickup so can't say nothing about service. They really need to improve the quality of chilli chicken read more

I understand they have just recently opened, so, for the most part they get a pass. But, here's what I saw. The Non-Food stuff 1) seriously need more staff. 2) staff needs some sort of uniform. Random t-shirts, torn jeans, 1 wearing a baseball cap, dirty shoes. Just looks bad. It's a restaurant, treat it as such. 3) no system for a waiting list. Very poor communication with customers waiting to get a table. Food Stuff 1) garlic naan was very good. I like mine cooked a touch more, but it was very tasty. 2) chicken salad was good. 3) Butter chicken was great, except it was way way way too spicy. I ordered it mild, and sadly I couldn't eat it. Chicken was tender, the sauce was rich and creamy and I soooooo wanted to eat it. 4 bites and my face melted. Overall, go give them a try. Be patient. I really hope they work out the kinks. We have visited Himalayan Taste several times since moving to the area. We have enjoyed each of the dishes we have tried: the moist tandoori chicken with lots of peppers and onions, the lamb tikka masala, and my favorite...the chicken korma. The carrot pudding is a delicious surprise for dessert. The atmosphere is uninspiring but immaculate and comfortable. Service has been prompt and unobtrusive. We were so excited to be getting an Indian restaurant here in Menifee. This is walking distance from our house and has become a regular spot for us. The service is great and the food is FANTASTIC. We always get our usual tikka masala or butter chicken but then try and order one new thing every time. The staff always has great recs for us as well. We especially love the aloo gobi. read more

First time coming here, the service was very attentive and our order was brought with precision. We ordered the mullagatawny soup, samosas, chicken tikka masala with basmani rice and garlic naan. I loved everything we ordered! Everything was SO delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant for the matchless taste of Indian cuisine! We were headed to one of our favorite eating places in Menefee but saw an Indian restaurant we hadn't been to in the same location and decided to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised at the food, good ambiance and the aromas that welcomed us into an early dinner. We started with Aloo Ra Kakara Sadae Ko, a cucumber with potato salad, Himalayan mixed appetizer an Onion bhaji and vegetable samosa. Then we ordered lamb Suhka, Butter Chicken and Aloo Gobi. A cauliflower vegetable dish. We ordered all at medium spiciness but next time may tone it to mild. Yes, there will be a next time! Oh, and of course rice and Garlic Naan. The food was very good, service was quick and the food was brought to the table hot and fresh. We enjoyed our meal and will be returning. We highly recommend this restaurant. read more

They have the best bread here. All of the curry dishes had good spices. I ordered take out and the food is so good even when it is reheated after a few days. I literally freeze the biryani and heat it up when ever I'm hungry. It beats frozen tv dinners any day of the week. read more

Wife and I love this place and try to go every other week or so. We try new stuff all the time and everything is good. The portions are big. It's awesome. We always have snacks for later. Tikka Lamb and Chicken and Lamb Korma are some favorites. Of and the Kofte or Cheese Naan. read more

I love the one in Temecula and highly anticipated the opening of the Menifee location as it's closer to home. I've been there three times now. All 3 times the service was not very good and the food was just okay. I'd be much more likely to stop off in Temecula after I leave work. I'm sad because I really wanted to like this one. the ambiance is nonexistent. It appears to be a barely renovated former business. read more

One visit and I thought it was pretty good. I had the Korma, the rice, and the naan. The pricing was fair for what you get. There's no other Indian restaurant in this area that I'm aware of. You have to go to Temecula, and even then the food is pretty mid. Nice people. I'm looking forward to future visits. read more

Everything was better than we hoped, the food was delicious and well seasoned, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the booths were comfortable! The food was absolutely delicious. Samosas are spicy. Chicken Tikka masala and vegetable coconut curry is highly recommended and child friendly with spice level. The most authentic East Indian cuisine in Riverside County. The restaurant isn't fancy, but the food is incredibly delicious. The best Chicken Tikka Masala that I've ever tasted.
