Umai Ramen is located in the Target shopping complex on Sunset and Stephanie, tucked away in the line of shops between Hobby Lobby and Ross. I first spotted this place when I went to the nearby H&R Block to get my taxes done earlier in the year, but I never really had an excuse to come out here until I had the ramen craving strike, and hard -- hence why I decided to bite the bullet and check the place out. One of the things that struck me immediately was their offerings -- of course, they have ramen of all types as you might guess from the name. But they also have different styles of ramen that you don't typically find anywhere, like the more elusive mazemen no-broth ramen, udon noodles, and even tsukemen-style ramen!
