This place deserves more love. Coming from the South Bay, we wanted to try something we hadn't had before, and we gave this place a try. What a pleasant surprise! Beef Stew with Daikon over rice: 4/5. The sauce was flavorful. The beef stew was very tender. Not stingy on the beef either! Beef Chow fun: 3.5/5. Wish each piece of beef was bigger. The beef wasn't as tender as the beef stew. Overall, it was still decent. I wouldn't get it again tho. Note that the kiosk is in Chinese, and your food comes one at a time.

We went shopping at Livermore Outlet and decided to come to the complex right across the outlet. We were hungry and went to a food court. There are several food stands but I decided to try HK Congee Noodles. There is an order kiosk at the counter but you can also order in person. I ordered the seafood congee. All the food is made fresh and there will be a wait especially if there are a lot of customers. There's a line so we expected a long wait for our order to be ready. The congee is generous in size and the bowl has shrimp and filet of fish. It's good and I don't have a complaint. My only complaint is that several people are on the counter asking about their order and if you're not observant, you might miss your order or it's not complete especially if you have multiple orders. The order doesn't come at the same time. Other than that, the food is good and comes out newly cooked.

Fish cake and gai lan. Holy moly..... it is so good!!

I typically do not eat in kiosks or food courts, but saw the pics of their signature dish - Fish cake with Chinese broccoli. I set my expectations low and was craving this dish. Watched the Chef make it and within 10 mins, literally one of the best fish cake dishes I had. It was so good and the gai lan was fresh and not old stems. Fish cake tasted so fresh unlike others using frozen and frying it to death. For the price and the excellent signature dish, excellent job! Definitely will be back.

This is inside Pacific Pearl and you order on the kiosk/computer. Food came out fast and staff were nice and fast in prepping and confirming orders. Items ordered: soy sauce noodles: my kiddo enjoyed this Fish porridge: I really liked this texture and we had plenty of fish. This tends to be more watery and that is how I prefer my jook. Wonton noodles: Large wontons with plenty of flavor and noodles were perfectly cooked. Wontons: Another good dish Beef noodle soup: Plenty of beef and taste was fine. Chinese donut: tasted good and cooked with precision- outside was crunchy and inside was soft A solid 3.5-4 stars

Tucked away in the small quiet food court next to 99 Ranch, HK Congee Noodles dishes up delicious HK comfort food. I've gotten takeout from here twice already, and the two older gentlemen running their food stall are kind and friendly. They are both so efficient at cooking whatever you order, and I've never had to wait longer than 10 min for my food. Their English is limited, but they can speak Mandarin (and I'm assuming Canto as well? I've never tried speaking Canto to them). In general, this food court hasn't been doing well. Rent is high and there are plenty of other restaurants and eats around this area. Currently, there are only 5 other restaurants in this food court still in operation, and one of them is brand new (a Mexican place apparently). I really hope HK Congee Noodles can survive the cost of running their food stall here, as it's my new favorite place to support (Shihlin Street Snacks being a close second, but they have been there ever since I started coming here, so I'm not worried about their business). The first time I ordered their beef stew with daikon over rice, and it's been a hot minute since I've had deliciously savory and comforting beef stew like this. The portions are huge for the price and I always end up having leftovers. The second time I brought my husband along, and I ordered the sautéed fermented mustard greens w/ fish cakes over rice, while he ordered an HK classic, stir-fried thin egg noodles with soy sauce. The egg noodles were so good and had tons of wok hay, and the mustard greens w/ fish cakes had a lovely black bean sauce. I absolutely love anything with black bean sauce, so this was right up my alley. Both times the dishes held up well on our drive home, and neither the noodles nor the rice were soggy, which have happened from other restaurants in the past. If we really wanted to we could dine in at this food court, but given how empty and stark it is now, I prefer eating the food in the comfort of home. HK comfort food is supposed to evoke feelings of coziness, and the spartan environment at the food court just doesn't do that any justice. I wish the gentlemen at HK Congee Noodles nothing but the best and will definitely continue supporting them for the foreseeable future!

I read lots of good reviews on this place so I want to give this place a try. I especially wanted to try their wonton, fish paste with lettuce in soup and faux shark fin soup. I think the flavor and the quality are average. The service was good. Since this place is inside the food court, the ambiance is just okay. Since I have a long list of restaurants to try and to go back, I think I might not come back without any improvements with the flavor of the food.

Food was good for the price. Only $13-14 instead of $20. Food court tables inside Pacific Pearl Mall Food Court. Ambiance was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Service was fast: order and pickup at counter.

My honest take? 5/5 for Hong Kong Chinese foods. Best location. Excellent staffs hired here. They are good at their jobs. Good chef. Good cashier lady who speaks good English. Love it. Credit cards accepted. This place is inside the Pacific Food Hall good court area. The food court died down during pandemic with many empty stands, but foods in the plaza are excellent. HK Congee Noodles is the perfect fit. Weekends seem ok with businesses continuing. 5/5 Fish fillet porridge. Excellent taste. Huge chunks of seafood meats. Generous portions. Great for 2-3 people to share. 5/5 Chinese fried dough sticks. Fresh and crispy. Delicious and tastes as good as Hing Lung's in South San Francisco/San Bruno locations. Seriously, this is beyond food court quality. 5/5 Faux shark fin soup is my all time favorite and they make it perfect here. Must love. Definitely add the red vinegar to give it a boost. 5/5 Special fried rice noodles was also very good and we like it with lots of chili sauce & soy sauce. Absolutely delicious. Everything else on the menu is very good or looks like it. I will definitely revisit. The cashier lady was very nice and friendly. Food court vibes with premium restaurant flavors. HK Congee Noodles fits the standard. Worth coming here for small bites. I just wish the food court improves with more customers and more restaurants in operations inside. Overall, great spot.

Simple and delicious HK style noodles and congee dishes. The food taste was good - not too salty as well, nor it was too oily. The congee was well made. Prices of the food offered was reasonable in today's market. Ordering was simple using the touchscreen near the cashier. The staff helping us take the order was friendly and helpful.

Newly opened inside the Pacific Pearl food mall. This place is worth a try. I like their small portions and reasonably priced. Food was tasty but a little oily. Fried fish cake was good, soy sauce noodles was good, bitter gourd fish cake was good, wonton noodle was good, rice roll with XO sauce was ok, a little hard and the fish meat soup was ok, a little bland. Friendly service. Will be back for sure.

So I am sad that so many good food spots are coming and going at the Pacific Food Hall at the Pacific Pearl shopping center so when a good spot opens up I will do my best to steer people this way because the hall is a great place to hang out and eat with a picky party since they can split off and order from a number of different food spots here and sit in a comfortable area after shopping at the SF outlets across the street. When I first wandered in and saw this new spot I was a bit skeptical at first since the menu was sort of limited and I had ordered a to go Youtiao (chinese fried donut commonly eaten with congee) that was quite honestly one of the worst I have ever had around the world; overfried and too oily but I wanted to give them another chance and not hang them up on one bad order of fried dough and I am SO glad I did because this is a hidden gem that fills a niche that is sorely lacking in the area! I went back the next week and wanted to try two more dishes to get a good sense of their cooking skills and that was the Hong Kong style Shrimp WonTon noodle soup and the fish fillet porridge/congee and I will say right now that their version of wonton noodle soup absolutely DESTROYS every other version available anywhere in the central valley. You will need to go to SF to get anything close and I put this version right up there with the best I have had in the streets of Hong Kong, it is really that good. The broth is clear, light and full of flavor the noodle is direct from HK and you will not find lighter perfectly cooked thin noodles along with some of the largest most perfectly balanced wontons. Nothing in the area comes close: Koi Garden, Grand Cafe, Hong Kong Cafe etc...get your wonton noodle soup right here and you will be back over and over again. The Fish Congee was also perfectly made with the right smoothtexture and no cornstach filler with plenty of fresh Fish Fillets and supplemented pieces of their fish cake/paste specialty, amazing porridge that does not get thin or thick which is the sign of an expertly cooked porridge/congee. I went back the following week to try their Stir Fried thin egg noodle with Soy Sauce which is just as good as the best ones around from Grand and Koi Garden but at almost half the price! Amazing wok Hei smoky flavor and hit it with a bit of their chili oil for an amazing bite. Also tried their sticky rice with shrimp and preserved meat but was a tad let down as it was not bursting with flavor but hit it with the chili oil and it was a great save! I will be trying more of their dishes soon as their main specialty seems to be their fish and pork cake in several of their dishes but if you just want one of the best shrimp wonton noodle soups in all of the bay area you will not regret it!

HK Congee Noodles opened up in the Pacific Pearl food court to try and make a go of it. I'm hopeful and apprehensive for any restaurant that chooses to take a space in one of the most poorly managed food court in the East Bay. The turn over rate is 99% with only one business that has stayed open since its inception. Many space have turned over more then three times. HK Congee Noodles menu is like a Hong Kong congee hawker stall with congee, noodles and stir fry. Not sure if the concept will make it. The soy braised pork trotters were decent. Fast food service. Plastic utensils.

Went on a Thursday evening after work. Heard from a group on Facebook mentioning about this newly opened store, locates in the food court of Pacific Pearl 99 Ranch. Tried out their food, personally not my favorite. Food: Fish cake & Chinese broccoli stir fried flat rice noodle Taste: Greasy overall, fish cake - not the best, rice noodle roll - kinda cold, not cooked thoroughly, Chinese broccoli - very hard, didn't cook all the way Price: $16.99 - food does not worth this price Service: Good. The person is kind enough to deliver the food to our table. Coming back? Maybe not

*** Vegetarian Review ***…read more Full disclaimer. I haven't been to the restaurant, but I've tried their vegan potstickers at the Kaiser Vallejo Farmers Market. So, since I wasn't able to find a check in for that market, I had to come here to sing their praises. 6 Vegan Potstickers at the market are $13. I recommend spending the $1 for chili oil. Not sure what they charge at the restaurant for these fried pockets of deliciousness, but I tell you if these taste this good at a farmers market, packaged in a box, and I wait 10 minutes before I find a seat in the hospital cafeteria, and it still tastes this good, the restaurant must be out of this world. The wrapper has a great thickness and offers a sticky and chewy bite. Pan fried still comes out after having these steam in a to go box, so the restaurant would probably make these pan fried babies have even more texture. Comes with a dipping sauce, but combine it with the chili oil if you can handle a little heat and Yes Chef!! I heard they are at the SF Ferry Building Market on Saturday and Walnut Creek Farmers Market on Sunday. Double check those, but finding a great vegan potsticker is not easy.

I've been a regular customer to their Tuesday and Saturday stands here, mostly getting baos and cucumbers. I was surprised that there was no sauce on this as there was enough flavor from the beef to pair well with the noodles. Simple, tasty, and perfect for my lunch. It is a bit pricy for the portion but the quality is there. Plus it's made to order. I'll continue to get the small bites for my friend and will try the other meals down the road.

It was early dinner time on a Friday evening and it wasn't overly crowded. The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas.
