Somehow this became my go-to coffee shop over the last couple years. I like their coffee and I love their scones! Easy street parking most of the times. I like the restaurant atmosphere with the natural daylight plus they have ample outdoor seating. Free WiFi so I can work here for a couple hours, but they close early (3pm?) They added a piano a while back, good idea but they really need to add a sign for parents with kids that only want to pound on the keys for 15 minutes. I can handle two minutes. ;) read more

The pancho was the BEST sandwich ive ever had probably and ive been to restaurants all over the world, all over 5 star restaurants in LA and this is the perfect amount of flavor and crispiness. Loved the cozy vibes of this place. I entered and immediately felt the warm air and smell of cinnamon and coffee. Although parking was a bit hard to get it was worth it to see their unique lattes. There's a Winter Drink menu right now so I tried the Brûlée Con Leche and a banana Nutella turn over. My Brûlée had a deliciously sugar torched top and had a perfect blend of brown sugar and cream. Definitely try this before winter ends. The turnover was soft and sweet, just as it's meant to be. I really loved the interior design and vibe of this coffee shop! Perfect place to study and chill. Definitely fits the old town vibe of everything it's surrounded by. There's both inside and outside seating. I did kind of get lost making my way through the shop. The music was a vibe. Service was friendly. If you order food to dine in, they give you a number card to place at your table. It was unclear if you were supposed to leave your tray at the table or not. What I ordered: -Chai Latte: This was SO GOOD! It tasted legit like an horchata even though I got it with almond milk! I've never had a chai latte before so not sure if it was supposed to taste like this or not but I really enjoyed it. They have such good quality cinnamon, it was very light but it gave a nice spiced flavor. Sweetness was perfect! 4/5 -Slow n' Low Barbacoa Biscuit Sandwich: This was okay. There was barely and meat in it and it wasn't super flavorful. There was also barely any radish and pickled onions inside. The biscuit bread was majority of what I tasted. It was a very good biscuit but it really overpowered any kind of ingredient that was within the sandwich. Hola Adios was open on New Years Day! My husband and I were down the street picking up pastries for NYD events and happened to see that this coffee shop was open. We popped in to get a cup of coffee - I ordered an Iced Cinnamon Brown Sugar Coffee and he ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with Honey. There's a variety of drinks and food items to choose from off the menu and they have a small pastry case by the register if you're looking for a quick bite to go. They have their own housemade syrups so we decided to try the Cinnamon Brown Sugar for my coffee and added Honey to the matcha since that comes unsweetened. The Matcha was really good and the honey added a good amount of sweetness to the beverage. I was a little disappointed in the Cinnamon Brown Sugar though. My latte wasn't very sweet and taste like it had little hint of cinnamon and no brown sugar taste. Service was okay. The shop was pretty busy with lots of customers sitting, eating and socializing inside the shop dining area. There was one person on the register and one person making the drinks. Our drinks came out quickly for only one person making all drinks. I'll probably give it another try in the future and try something off their food menu. read more

I recommend this place for their outdoor seating area. I ordered a specialty cup of espresso based drink called Jess, and one of their peach & cream pastry. Both were pretty good. But what really stood out for me is the outdoor seating area. Unlike some coffee shops that blast music of genre that you might or might not like, the outdoor seating of this coffee shop (which is in the back) felt secluded and it's a good place to carry on a conversation. I stopped by Hola Adios Coffee on a Tuesday morning and tried their vanilla latte. It tastes almost identical to most vanilla lattes i've had at other coffee shops so I enjoyed it. It was decently busy but not too busy where you have to wait a while. The cafe has plenty of seating, both inside and outside, making it a great spot to relax. The staff was super friendly. I also got the banana & nutella pastry, and it was good! My mom ordered the Golden Aura (one of their specials), and she loved it. I've had coffees both at their Costa Mesa and this location. I love this location because it's so aesthetically appealing. I love what they did with the space and I love their culture "A friendly greeting--a sendoff. Hello. Goodbye. " Baristas are always friendly here. I love their creativity and actually ordered one of their baristas favorite, vanilla cinnamon matcha oat latte, say that a hundred times lol I can see why it was her fave, I literally captured all the tastes of vanilla, cinnamon and matcha in one drink! Biscuit was simple but made very well, not a dry puck you may find somewhere else. Sandwich has cheese, egg, sausage and potatoes with a side of hot salsa. It all came together nicely and the hot salsa is quite spicy. Quiche was flaky and comes with a salad. Went here for a bachelors day with my friends and family and got coffee from here. I hear the food is great and saw some of the biscuits and gravy and what I believe to be was a biscuit sandwich and all of it looked great but I didn't get it as I was not hungry at the time but I did get coffee and illl say the coffee was good! Atmosphere was nice and I really enjoyed the decor and overall feel of the place. The service was immaculate and the workers were really pushing out orders quickly and effectively.
