Beer is 10 out of 10! I tried multiple beers with my friend and every single one we enjoyed! Ancient Art the Dark Lager is a must try! The tacos also were amazing I had they were vegan friendly which is a hugeee plus for me! Just an average brewery. It's very small. Enough seating for about 25 people max. They don't serve food except for ziplock bags of popcorn for $7. Beer is good though. I'd recommend going for a flight and then bar hopping to one of the better local breweries within walking distance like Urban South or Buffalo Bayou. read more

My friends and I went brewery hopping one Saturday and ended our day here. Staff was friendly and offered great options based off of what our preferred beer choice. Originally from first ward It has been great to see how this neighborhood has transitioned. Now living in Denver I have seen plenty of craft breweries. Casual and relaxed atmosphere. Good view of the Tiny and modest brewing equipment. Plenty of seating inside as well as in a covered hallway. Good selection of beers, English brown to imperial stout to hefe and saison. Also cold brew coffee and kombucha. Friendly staff. Interested to see the other beers they come up with. Plenty of parking. Food truck out front. No kitchen. Not sure if it is dog friendly or not, as it's pouring rain and I don't see one pup. read more

Great local brewery. The beers rotate frequently, so there is almost always something new to try, every visit. They always have a solid IPA on tap. Also, on Wednesdays, they have steak night. You can get a steak, side, and a beer, for about $20. read more

I realized short reviews don't get included in overall scores so I wrote a little more about this place: I got here earlier than my friends after work on a Friday and enjoyed an ESB out on the patio. I think this ended up being my favorite of the beers I tried. Just a simple straightforward good drinkable beer which is a nice change from most other small breweries. I shared a flight later to sample some more. Great quality all around. If you're into super hoppy or heavy beers you might not quite scratch that itch based on what I got to try, but it's still definitely worth checking out. The bar area is not very big but it's very clean and has a window into the actual brewing area. The bar opens up to the patio which is a converted loading dock with plenty of space. Overall a great hang out spot, which is exactly what you want. Food trucks park right next the patio so you don't need to go anywhere for food. There were a couple beers on tap I didn't get to try and I think they are regularly rotating others in and out so hopefully I'll have plenty of new stuff to sample on my next visit which will be very soon. read more

Great local brewery. The beer is solid. It's about 50% average beers, 50% slam dunks. No matter the beer, I always have great experience here. The tap list is always changing so I can be sure to try something new each time I come in. Very tasty hazy IPAs, cask aged, and darker beers, in my opinion. There is no active kitchen (except on their specials, I think) but Holler coordinates a local food truck to swing by, different each night. Check the website for what is coming up. The staff is always helpful, patient, and friendly. They're happy to give tastes and talk about beer. They'll help find something you like. Neighborhood brewery that cares about their patrons. The area is an up and coming neighborhood with fun bars and restaurants just opening up. Certainly worth a stop. read more

New breweries in the area are always exciting, Holler does not disappoint. I visited during the soft opening in November 2016 so I am behind in getting this review out. The inside and outside areas flow together well, it's a nice spot, relaxing and breezy. I ordered a flight and was happy with everything I tasted. (I had Looyah Milk Stout, IPA, Dollar Pils Y'all, Amber Ale and Hefeweizen.) My only complaint would be how the flight was priced. You can get significantly more beer by the glass for the same price as what the flight ran me. Note: This may have changed since the soft opening, I certainly hope so! I am currently sitting on the patio of this lovely tiny brewery. There's a nice breeze and the beer is tasty and cool. I'm joining my friend for a work event and I've never heard of this place, nor would I have ever expected it to be located wayyy over here on this industrial-themed street off the side of Downtown. I'm even more interested in the fact that there seems to be other small little hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and cycling places over here! Never would have thought so. The staff seems pretty friendly, and there is a food truck off to the side offering some really rad fries. I wouldn't say that there is anything particularly special happening here, but definitely room to make a thing out of coming here! read more

I LOVE Holler. I have been a few times and always enjoy it. Their beer is great! I always like what I order. The space is really small, so not ideal for large groups (though you can always make it work!) They usually have a food truck or some other food vendor on site. Dog friendly patio. Central location. This place has great staff and great beer. I had the Dollar Pills Y'all and Odom's Crunk Juice, which were both great. They rotate their selections fairly often. Great little brewery with a decent selection of beers. I loved the variety of the beers they had available. They do 8oz tasting pours which I think is the perfect size and let's you sample more beers. I tried their summer saison, ESB, and both of their IPAs and was impressed with all 4. Added bonus, they have air-conditioning inside for those scorching summer days and a dog-friendly patio outside for those less scorching days. We will definitely be back! read more

Cute little brewery. The service was good, the line was short, the bartenders pour quickly and get you on your way, they have plenty of seating and the atmosphere is relaxed. First time here and loved the vibe. The inside is an open concept with great air circulation during COVID with the industrial large garage door style open to let air flow. The blue/purple lighting is fun and they have a ton of great beers on tap. The Dollar Pils was tasty, light, and refreshing for a Sunday afternoon drink. Their on tap root beer is also really tasty! We grabbed some tacos from Tacos Bomberos that was set up outside and is there 1-2 times per week. Their steak tacos and quesadilla were super flavorful and smelled amazing. Five stars for the good booze and the drinks with hilariously witty names. I came across this place because I'd heard they were hosting an axe throwing event (by Epic Axe) and had to swing by. I ordered "Margaret Thatcher Naked on a Cold Day." Need I say more in this review? Probs not, but here's a little more info: My drink was more on the sour side, if you're into that. Dollar Pils Y'all was more smooth, and more my taste. 16oz glasses costed $5 each. There is a parking lot and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is sort of sporty. Had a very nice time at Holler Brewery. There was plenty of available seating at 4pm on a Friday. Suprsingly quite a few people showed up after us.
