My business partner wanted to try this place for brunch. So I had the turkey club and coleslaw and she had the Reuben with Russian dressing and potato salad. The sandwiches were okay the biggest thing that we noticed was the music was very loud inside this place and there were not a lot of people. We were trying to discuss business and it was difficult. Our server was very attentive though and he continued to fill my iced tea glass even though it was not a Texas size iced tea glass. My club was a little on the dry side so I had to add some extra mayo and that's still didn't really help it a lot. It didn't taste bad though. The coleslaw was excellent as was the potato salad. My business partner liked her Ruben sandwich. The prices were about what you would see in any restaurant around today. Not certain what to call the sauce on top of the eggs benedict but it is not hollandaise. It is a tasteless and disgusting gravy style sauce. They put so much of this tasteless slop on top of it, it made it inedible. The service was fine and grandson enjoyed his pancakes but hard to mess up pancakes. The food is amazing! Came back twice in one week. The Oreo pancake was okay. It could've been better had they made the inside of the pancake like the inside of a Oreo. The Apple croissant was so delicious and could've been served open faced, because otherwise it's just so much bread. I didn't taste the special sauce with the omelette, but I heard it was superb. Great service. Nice ambiance, since there's a lot of glass, letting the place get flooded with outdoor light. My favorite thing about this place is that they serve home fries, which I prefer over hash browns. The western omelet was really good. My western eggs benedict was good, but not what I expected. The hollandaise didn't really taste like hollandaise. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to put hot sauce and butter on the tables. Great new place for breakfast/brunch/lunch in Round Rock. It did not disappoint. Locally owned. Angel our server was very friendly and Chef Daniel visited table to make sure everyone was happy. Food was fresh and delicious. They have a good selection of items and drinks on menu although sodas are currently cans. It's located in small strip center. While I expected the fruit to be inside, it turned out to be a raspberry syrup/glaze instead. It wasn't quite what I anticipated, but still tasty overall. The restaurant is new, so be prepared to wait a bit for a table on weekends, but it's definitely worth it. There was about a 20-minute wait, which was understandable for weekend brunch, but unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the delay. I started with a Diet Coke, and was surprised when they brought out a can instead of a fountain drink. Kind of unusual for a restaurant setting. I ordered the JJ Sandwich, and to be honest, it was incredibly bland. It had no flavor at all, and really needed a sauce or some kind of seasoning to bring it to life. It felt like something I could throw together at home and honestly, it would've had more flavor if I had. I also tried the Polish sausage, which tasted just like a cheap hotdog. Definitely not what I expected, especially at the price point. Overall, the food felt overpriced for how underwhelming it was. Went on Saturday morning before the morning crowd hit hard. Although what I had was good, $30 (with 20% tip) for breakfast is just dumb. I ordered their pumpkin pancake special (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links), I also ordered a side of toast an and a coffee. The wait for a Sunday was only like 30 minutes. Which was surprising! However, once we got called up to the stand the hostess told us we were next... We waited a good 10 minutes and watch him seat other tables.. Weird, so I asked about our table and said he forgot about us as we were standing right there... But it's a busy Sunday so we move on. All of the servers we've had so far are always great! I personally suggest the sweet tea especially if you like a little bit of orange. At first I was unsure, but ended up loving it. We kicked off with a special order of the stuffed cinnamon roll the chef brought out for us. It was AMAZING! The hollandaise sauce on both our egg benedict dishes was made to perfection and the highlight of the dish. The best part of the experience was the level of kindness and professionalism the employees were showing consistently in every single interaction--not only to customers but also to each other. The vast selection of options makes it difficult to choose! I had the Perfect Combo with eggs, bacon, and pancakes. It was all lovely and cooked to perfection. My husband had a Farmer's Platter with corned beef hash, which was served on top of...potatoes. Seems like a lot of potatoes? I have no doubt everything else on the menu is tasty and I'm looking forward to trying new things! My only gripe (which could be a personal thing) is that the space between our row of tables and the next row of tables was WAY too small. The condiments on the side of our table were constantly being knocked over by customers and servers walking by. Servers had to stand within six inches of me to take an order for the table next to us. Not their fault at all--just something to be aware of for spatial awareness and customer comfort. Lastly, (and it's a good problem to have) is the noise level. The place, when packed, has terrible acoustics. It's extremely loud. We had to raise our voices to hear each other across a very small table. Despite these little hiccups, it was an enjoyable experience. Overall, this place is a winner and I plan to return often! Fantastic new locally owned/operated breakfast/lunch spot! We both had a great experience. The ambiance is low key and decor is tasteful. Owner Daniel, and wait-staff Angel, were very accommodating and helpful, each taking time to chat us up and make sure we were taken care of. Now the food....Wonderful! We went with the JJ Breakfast Sandwich and the 2 Eggs, Bacon and Toast plates. Both were exactly what we wanted.
