Great experience with Mike Moghadam. For him, I'd give four or five stars. Mainly because he got me a good deal, and he's a nice person. However, he's still a salesman and uses sales tactics to gain profit for himself as well, which is understandable and expected. At the end of the day, I walked away happy, and he probably did too. The actual Keyes Honda location is a different story, which is why I only gave three stars; I had a horrible experience in this same place a couple of years past. I forgot who I dealt with then, but he basically just brushed me off so he could deal with some other customer he'd probably get a better deal off of. My point is, it's a business, and that's how you should treat it. You want to leave with something and they want something from you. The people are people, no matter how friendly they act, and your experience can fluctuate depending on who you're dealing with, how busy the place is, how serious or desperate you are, or so on. read more

After I selected the car he patiently walked me through all the new technology. He returned my rental car so I didn't have to do so. The following day he called to make sure everything was clear and working to my satisfaction. I told him I wasn't able to get the garage door button to open up our garage door. He responded that he would come over after his shift and would get it working. He did as he promised. I bought my used car here from Moe almost two years ago and I still remember this guy because he did the classic shady dealer moves. This guy was not straight forward with me and made me believe I was buying my 2013 Honda Civic LX for 9,000$. I saw the add posted for 9,000$ and I went and it was the same car. Except it wasn't. This guy avoided me referencing the paper work and shoved 7 thousand dollars extra into my purchase and no reliability or coverage from what they claimed I was going to get. I'd say this is a borderline scam for all the false advertisement and all these promised car care things I should have received but never got. read more

I Made an appointment through COSTCO, and I thought I was supposed to get a good deal?? When I got there Tanya introduced me to a sales lady and we took the car for a test drive. After when we went to see numbers that's when they start playing games. From what I know they should provide me with a special price and that's it!! Well they wanted to sell me something that was more expensive then carsdirect and wanted to sell me options that I did not asked for it. Finally this other lady (blue hair) talked to me and told me that she could not sell the the car to the price that carsdirect was advertising. One lie after another. when I told the manager she was lying she got up and told me to have a nice day..transaction was over. I don't know why COSTCO works with KEYS HONDA. I took my car there Monday, March 30. I opened the hood today to find that that the dip stick was left out of my transmission. I was able to get ahold of a Manager to be able to talk through this situation, hopefully this doesn't happen again in the future. This was by far the best experience I've had buying a car. I've owned Toyota, Chevrolet, Dodge, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, Jeep, and now Honda. The team was efficient, knowledgeable, and most importantly did not waste my time. Jose was able to easily guide me through the various styles and makes of each vehicle. After spending about 30 minutes at the dealership, I had the confidence to test drive the cars with the style and make I wanted. The entire team, including the sales management department,and wchecked in to ensure all was progressing smoothly. The sales manager Ross was exceptionally knowledgeable about the cars and how to best navigate getting me the best deal possible. He was able to explain to me my current situation and how I could be best suited getting into a brand new vehicle and the flexibility of options with lower monthly payments. BUYER BEWARE - DETAILED STRAIGHT FORWARD FACTS - DONT BUY HERE I bought a "Honda Certified Pre Owned" car from here about 5 months ago. Signed my paperwork, just as I was leaving I was informed I was given paperwork for the wrong vehicle. So I had to return and sign all new paperwork...quite the inconvenience but I overlooked it as an honest mistake. Next day I had to get a key copy made. Again, wrong paperwork was sent over, so this turned into almost a week long process...without my new vehicle...much harder to overlook but I did. Upon first driving the vehicle to work I smelled something burning. I immediately told the folks at Keyes (in person) and they informed me that it was probably the cleaner on the engine burning off and the smell should subside in a week or so. I waited a week...same smell...told them (this time over the phone)...I was told the same thing. Fast forward a month or so...I moved from LA to GA. Keyes, in all of it's wisdom, sends me my title after I've only made one payment on the vehicle. I was called by somebody at Keyes. She didn't introduce herself, she didn't say she was even with Honda, she just said I have to send her the title back in an incredibly rude tone. Almost to intimidate. Once I had her start over I realized what was going on. I'm not a shady guy by any stretch so I sent the title back as soon as the chance arose. So back to that smell...I take it in to get a battery replacement at 5 months (short life on these new batteries) to now a Honda dealership in GA whom I've grown to trust so I ask them to check on that smell. Turns out my car has been in a wreck, that I wasn't told about at Keyes and did not show up on the Car Fax...another overlook that was difficult to ignore. The SMELL just so happens to be that when the car was fixed from the wreck the plug for the transmission wasn't put back on. This has caused the transmission fluid to splash all over the inside of my car guts thus causing a BURNING smell...go figure. I have a warranty but apparently Honda employee ignorance/laziness is not covered...even though I was told I got a Honda Certified vehicle and that all of the inspections had been done. I called Keyes Honda from the Ga Honda service center. The Ga Honda guy talks to a man named Mark Scorza who identifies himself as the operator of Keyes. I see the Ga Honda guy back up from the phone, as if he's being scolded. He calmly explains to Mr Scorza that he's only telling him what he found when his team looked into the situation. He also explains that his Honda team isn't exempt from mistake so he thought maybe Mr. Scorza would agree about his own team. Mr. Scorza says it's not on his team to pay for the mistake to be fixed. I get back on the phone and ask for his name, now he says he'll look into it. I call back 40 mins later because I haven't heard from Mr. Scorza, I ask him if he has any updates, he responds as if I've personally offended him. He gives me no definite answer and says he'll call me back. That was a week ago. I've since left messages with no return call. So now I have a car that I drove off the lot 5 months ago covered in transmission fluid, to which I don't even know how much fluid I have left in the car and I'm stuck paying for it. This has been a horrible experience, this is only the second review I've ever done. I never complain and I guess this is where it's got me concerning this vehicle. Trust me, buy your car somewhere else. Certified Honda inspection means shit, and I hope this is a warning for anybody buying a car specifically from Keyes Honda on Van Nuys. read more

I love my 2017 Honda Civic EX-L with leather seats and sunroof! I also had a great experience with Victor my salesperson! Especially the feature where I touch the door handle and it unlocks and then push the button on the door to lock and push to start the engine so I never have to take the keys out of my pocket! So timesaving and convenient! Love the "apple play" technology feature too! I have two friends who bought a car within a month of me getting mine; we all coincidentally got new cars; they got a Jaguar and a BMW: and they and I were impressed that my Honda had more modern technology features than their cars LOL ! Sales Consultant Jay was nice and respective though he couldn't offer me a deal I would sign. 15mins later after I left I got a call from a Manager, unfortunately I don't remember his name. And that was the most rude and irrespective manager I ever talked to. Well first he was extremely nice making me a slightly better offer than when in the lease office. I said no thank you again. The last thing he asked me what type of money range I'm looking for and when I shared my expectations he responded to me in the most rude way 'you'll never find a deal like this' and hung up. Untrustworthy. The internet sales manager (Bill) and I communicated in writing and agreed to all the terms of a deal which was to be all cash. They didn't have exactly what I wanted in stock, but Bill agreed to get it for me. When I got to Keyes on Van Nuys I was disappointed to find my car was not at the dealership, but Bill agreed to drive it to my house. Ok. No harm done. However, the general manager then refused to honor the terms of the deal clearly spelled out in emails unless I agreed to finance the car for a minimum of 90 days. The general manager acknowledged that financing was not part of the original deal, but would not budge. I walked out with no car. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL, & UNTRUSTWORTHY! 0 OUT OF 5 STARS! I recently went in to Keyes Van Nuys Honda to browse vehicles and potential deals since my lease was nearly over. I called ahead to get lease specials and I was told by a salesperson by the name of Yvonne that there were lease specials and to "come on in." I went in and was able to speak to Sahak Bedrosian, and he was able to show me around the vehicle and give me a rough estimate of what my payments would be. I told Sahak that I wanted my payments to be similar to what I paid for my previous lease which was $225 including tax per month with $1500 down (Drive off of $800 and $700 down). Sahak spoke to the Manager and said that we could do the deal. However, I was unable to do the deal that day since my father was going to be signing the paperwork and I told Sahak that we would return Friday. Fast forwarding to Friday, I completed the online pre-approval application and gave Sahak a call to have the Vehicle washed and have the paperwork ready. Upon getting there the Manager went back on this initial payment and now said the same vehicle was $289 including tax with a drive/down payment of $1,500. Upon haggling for nearly 2 hours we weren't getting anywhere and we decided to get up and leave. That is when the desk manager arrived and said: "what is stopping you from completing this deal." He then proceeded to invite us to his desk, he ran numbers but suddenly began to speak very rudely to my mother, father and I. I shrugged it off and jokingly down played the situation. As I was beginning to leave and I thanked Sahak for his time and told him that if I was not able to receive a comparable offer that "I would come back." That is when the Desk Manager said: "We don't want their business, that the deal is not available." I fumingly told him that there are other dealerships in the area and you aren't the only one and proceeded to leave the dealership. Realizing that they had "messed up," they sent Sahak and Taz to retrieve us from our vehicle and said that the agreed to $250 per month including tax with a drive/down payment of $1480. I was ready to storm off, however my father and mother convinced me to get the deal done and get it over with. Furthermore, I would never go back to this dealership! The Desk Manager and other Manager (I cannot recall their names) were extremely rude, unprofessional, and untrustworthy. However, I can't say the same thing about Sahak (Salesperson), he tried his best to get us a good deal and calm the situation after the dilemma. I appreciate your assistance Sahak! read more

I had been looking to buy a car and what I thought would take a day or two to do ended up being almost a week!!! nonetheless, Tuesday was the day that I HAD to get a car so right after my 8 hour job in the morning, I drove (got a ride) all the way from Culver City to the valley. I went to few Honda dealerships along the way just to view all my options. THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAD WAS AT NEW CENTURY HONDA!! I had seen a car on Presidents' Day and called on Monday since I had no way to get there that day. I was told by the salesman over the phone that he could place that price "on lock" so that I could come Tuesday to get same deal. However, this was Not the case as I was very rudely informed by the General Manager that the Presidents' Day deal I was TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE no longer applied bc according to the General manager, "ITS NO LONGER PRESIDENTS' DAY"...Feeling confused and highly upset at this point, I went immediately to Keyes Honda bc it was literally 15mins left to close! Feeling exhausted from all the looking and betrayed by New Century manager, I doubted I was gonna get anything. Victor made me feel so much better by genuinely helping me EVEN MINUTES FROM CLOSE TIME!! He showed me a car that I LOVED right away after I told him what I was looking for!!!!
