Delicious food and amazing for catering! I have not been to this location, but I have ordered catering from here. The food was absolutely amazing. The red coconut curry had the perfect amount of spice to it (I like spicy) and the turkey in the sweet soy five spice stir fry was incredibly tender. The Make It Grain salad is hearty, filling, AND healthy. Additionally, their catering presentation was phenomenal. They included small food description signs to go along with the food--a small detail that made a world of difference! The food cards included all of the ingredients and considerations (e.g. gluten free, veggie, etc.) and I was thoroughly impressed with the presentation. I ordered delivery from honeygrow. Red curry sauce and egg white noodles. The noodles are very tasty. The texture is exact on point. However, it's too salty for me and I believe it will be too salty for almost everyone else's standards. Else there are less than 5 pieces of chicken which each is smaller than my pinky finger. Pathetic customer service! Condescending and out right rude. By mistake I ordered online on their app and accidentally it was to be delivered. I didn't have the almost hour to wait so I called the store and they said call what ever delivery platform you ordered with and hung up. Called back and he was so rude. I was so excited to try honeygrow! I ordered a salad for delivery and boy was it disappointing! Essentially I received a bowl full of spinach and raw mushrooms. Everything was bland. The chicken tasted rubbery. There was no bread (which I ordered) My salad was not worth the ~$14ish dollars that it cost. I will not be ordering from/returning to honeygrow again. read more

As my food was being prepared on the wok, I had to watch as the food handler dropped my tomato, picked it back up and tossed it right back in with my food...completely unreal sight to see. Team at honeygrow Fenway was having a rough night, being short-staffed and having to send a drunk customer off in an ambulance. Nevertheless, their customer service was great, though the wait was nearly an hour. Eventually, they refunded all customers waiting (well after closing) but still made the meals. Went on opening day - was so excited to try this place after hearing rave reviews in Philly. Could not have been more let down. My husband ordered the lobster noodle dish and I ordered the sesame garlic noodle dish - honestly, for the price, everything was overcooked, and the combination of a staff that seemed annoyed to have customers (on opening day?!) a 17 minute wait made the meal taste even worse. It felt like a dish we could have easily made at home - absolutely not worth the high cost and lack of attention to any customer service. The food is good, but their ordering system is a little over the top. They over-rely on smart technology and miss the boat on customer service. It's practically impossible to ask a question. While walking around the Fenway area on Sunday with a friend, we noticed honeygrow, and she said we had to stop in as it was one of her favorite quick lunch spots at home. I can now say that I am a huge fan of honeygrow. Right when you walk in you are met with 5 touch screen ordering screens in which you can choose from meals that are customer favorites or create your own. Honeygrow offers stir fry, salads, pressed juices, and honey cups with fresh fruit, and I went to for the create your own stir fry option to get all of my favorite options in one dish. You can do noodles or rice, and they give you the first 3 toppings and 2 extras for free, so it is super well priced for the amount of food you are getting. Aside from the delicious food and ambience of the place, I love how locally sourced everything is, and I enjoyed the unique options of fountain drinks they have. The #1 reason I will go back to Honeygrow is because of Julyn! It was our first time stopping in, and she was above and beyond helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. She made recommendations on what we would like based on our hunger level and preferences, and guided us through the process of ordering. The fact that the food was delicious was just icing on the cake. Everything does taste fresh- and even though it seems like I'm eating a bowl of lo mein, I don't feel terrible or greasy after. Honeygrow has great food-- but totally not worth it. You walk in and you order on computer screens, cool concept (once you get it). The line gets really long if it's during dinner time and people don't know how to use the computers or need to ask questions or most commonly, the screens are broken. The food takes forever to arrive, approximately 10-15 minutes. This doesn't seem horrible until you see the portion size for the price you paid. It's not worth it. The food is great, but it's so expensive for the little you are getting. I got the build your own noodles, delicious! read more

Honeygrow is a place I go to when I want noodles and can make my own bowl. I love the spicy garlic sauce. What I don't love is that the set up makes it appear to be a quick order and take out place but when you order you're waiting at least 10-15 minutes for one noodle bowl even when the place is empty, the additions are a tiny tiny portion (like literally 5 tiny slices of mushroom if you add them to your bowl), and you pay an extra charge for more than 3 veggie options. Overall I will keep coming here due to the options lacking in the Fenway area for this type of cuisine without having to go sit down at a Japanese restaurant, and it tastes very good. Honeygrow is a great addition to the Fenway neighborhood. I had the Fall the Things salad and my boyfriend did the create your own stir-fry. We both really enjoyed our entrees. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious. The better of red juice was very good as well. They have Maine Root sodas for their fountain drinks, which is a nice touch. My family and I were staying in Boston . Right across the street from our hotel was Honeygrow. We decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did . The place is clean with a lot of seating in and out. I had the spicy garlic and the rest of my family ordered the soy sauce five . It was excellent. I stood in horror as a woman (beware of a the one with a red short cut wig) prepping someones order used her bare dirty hands to move ingredients out of one bowl to the next. Not EVEN the nastiest part. The bowl had whipped cream or something and it got her finger, she then LICKED, yes LICKED, her it off, with gross smacking sounds. I tried the lobster noodle dish and had a couple questions regarding how to place my order etc. The employees were extremely helpful but there was one in particular who went out of his, way to walk me through the process. His name was Joey. He took the time to make sure my order was placed correctly and then proceeded to check on me to make sure everything was to my liking. This is not a healty nor economical place to eat. This place is just like so many of these other restaurants that pay too much attention to marketing (ie, creating an illusion of what it is) and not the food. What I got was so overpriced, $12.17. My "bowl" was 3/4 rice with just some turkey and vegetables hiding the rice below. The "vegeatable" were not even a 1/2 cups worth. The food was also way over salted.
