Wish I discovered this place earlier in my stay at the Kapalua villas. It's seriously a bargain when compared with other places to eat nearby. Great selection of omelettes for breakfast and wraps for lunch. There are also pre-made sandwiches and salads. I grabbed a half papaya there and a hard boiled egg for a quick light breakfast . Also stocked up on water, crackers and Odwalla bars to take to the beach. The front of the store includes some gift type items and postcards. Great place to stock up before you leave Maui to pick up some last minute souvenirs. Love the variety, prices and picnic tables out on the porch. This place is very cool, grocery, sundries, deli and liquor store all rolled into one. They have great food at very reasonable prices. We tried the island breakfast plate and found it to be very satisfying. I have also had the breakfast burrito. Huge portion of food for the price. I managed to get it eaten and was good for about 10 hours of beach time. Staff is very friendly and it's a hoot just to see the stuff they have in the store. We've been coming here for over 30 years and really enjoy the food! The prices are also good. I've mostly eaten sandwiches here. The pulled pork sandwich is very delicious and has coleslaw (I think that's what it is) which makes it moist. They give a choice of curly fries or regular fries. Service is also good. read more

Not only was the girl taking our order for breakfast fairly rude, but the food was really lousy. The potatoes were cold, the breakfast burrito was filled with a small amount of runny eggs and eight lbs of sausage. When I asked for ketchup because the dispenser was out, the girl acted as though giving two people more than three packets was absurd. Don't go for breakfast. read more

Good food, great prices and top notch service. We had dinner here last night and again bkfst today. The Belgian waffle with fruit was a bargain at 5.99. Daughter loved it but luckily I was able to sneak a bite. Waffle was crispy and lite. It had some sugar in the batter so you can forgo the syrup. We also had a side of Portuguese sausage but it was not seared enough for my taste. Hubby had the kahlua pig burrito and it was good and filling. Had a quick dinner here last night. We are staying at the Ritz Kapalua and we wanted to try something different. I ordered the fried chicken platter (dark meat) mahi mahi fish sandwhich and fish and chips. The fried chicken was freshly made to order ( waited 20 mins) excellent well seasoned chicken. My chicken came with 2 pasta salads. The fish and chips was lightly battered pieces of fish that were crispy, well seasoned and the fish itself when you bite into it was very juicy and again freshly made to order. The mahi sandwhich was done well, too. It came with a little pesto, pickles lettuce and tomato. All of our food was amazing and i recomend it for the kids. Great variety, our dinner came to 37 which included a whole papaya that was clean and sliced in half. read more

Service wasn't very good I would say, since when I got there we were standing in front of the deli and looking at the menu and acting like we were going to order, the person looked up and just ignored us. Eventually, the lady turned to us again and said "We're closed" then turned away again. So with the Deli closed I grabbed a pork meal to go. The pork quick meal was actually pretty good. The pear pork meal didn't taste much of pear but was pretty good as well. The also sell apple bananas that have a pretty interesting taste and texture, they kind of taste like very unrippened bananas, but slightly different. I would definitely try this place again if I'm in the area, I would like to try their deli too. Prices overall aren't too bad for Maui. read more

This place is Bakery, Grocery, Liquor and Deli. For the most part it's an ABC deluxe. We did not try the bakery, but did try two combo plates for lunch. A huge amount of food, we could have fed 4 for $14.50. We enjoyed it at the pool at the Ritz where we were staying. And while it was good not great, I still felt some pains of guilt as we watched young honeymooners share a small $25 hamburger from the pool boy. Bottom line: Short walk to Ritz, they have it all. The building underwent a renovation a couple of years ago. Now there's a better use of space, easier access (includes a ramp), more seating outside (none inside), and more parking. Most of the seating is sheltered but some of the old tables that were there before the renovation are covered only by the canopy of a large tree. It's really an ABC store with a food counter. With regard to souvenirs, tee-shirts, tote bags, towels, other sundries and the like, you can buy the same things for less in Lahaina. The real reason to come here is for the food. There are pre-made items such as sandwiches or you can also queue up and get some yummy fried chicken, a burger, salads, sides, or a variety of other items. There's a kids menu. On the plate lunches, you can substitute rice and mac salad for all tossed salad. There's a large selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. There's the coffee counter too and they also sell donuts/pastries. Food prices are decent, too. A nice place in a lovely setting. Bring the whole family for breakfast or lunch. read more

Great option if you are staying at the Ritz for breakfast or picking up those odds and ends that you forgot. My BF and I forgot sunscreen and snacks so we took the short 5 mins walk over from the hotel. We got our essentials and also breakfast, the corn beef hash. A little too salty in my opinion, but still delicious. Overall, very friendly staff and they have everything you need and more. In comparison to pricing in the hotel it's "cheaper" but I would head to Foodland or Times Supermarket in Lahina for better prices. read more

Loved their banana bread and wish I had time to try their food items, as many of them looked delicious,, but just never matched up on meal times when I visited. My boyfriend visited here last year and couldn't wait to introduce me with a return visit this year, and it didn't disappoint from all the hype! We love this place! We go for the fresh made food at the counter and while we are there we shop for sundries and gifts. They have everything you could pretty much want from a gift store / grocery store / deli & grill eatery. The staff is exceptional. They will do it for you if you are nice to them. Well sorted store with everything you need. From pharmaceuticals over fruits, gifts and drinks. No need to go any further! Why only 4 stars then? Breakfast was really good, especially the ultimate breakfast (8$) with two eggs on the side - great! On the contrary, the pancakes weren't really good. We ordered a full stack banana pancakes (8$) which were three stacks (normally two). The pancakes were really dry and could not be eaten at all without syrup. On top, four little banana cuts were placed. That's a little bit too less, unfortunately. If you are a fan of pancakes you will be disappointed Kona coffee was really good - 2,50$ for a large cup is probably the best price you can get. Mahalo! read more

Excellent and affordable breakfast and lunch options. Store is very neat and clean and our breakfast (two smoothies, buttermilk pancakes and a veggie omelet) were super tasty and freshly made. The total came out to $27. Honolua is a superb breakfast and lunch option for folks staying at the Ritz Carlton. Even better: It's less than a five minute walk from the main entrance at the Ritz. Plus there are all sorts of other sundries (beer, cheese, sandwiches, T-shirts, shot glasses etc.) you can pick up, if the urge strikes. Summary: We actually enjoyed the breakfast at Honolua better than the breakfast buffet at the Ritz, which is incredibly overpriced in my opinion. read more

This is a fantastic place to grab a quick lunch in Kapalua. In the sea of overpriced options on Maui this is a breath of fresh air! Even their premade salads and sandwiches are excellent. You can also order hot food if you desire. They also have fruit/veg and other basics for making meals yourself. In addition they have first aid, medicine, a great alcohol selection and fun gifts. It's an ABC chain store (full of essentials plus souvenirs, etc. some some things are obviously overpriced, but there are bargains here too. The best part a nice attached deli, kitchen and coffee shop. Had a loco moco (steamed rice with Kalua pig, a fried egg and brown gravy covering everything). Really simple and delicious. Have your Kalua pig in one of these or a lunch box instead of at an overpriced luau. You won't regret it. read more

This is a good find! It's basically an ABC store/Deli/Bakery with a great view. They serve a wide variety of local hot food items like loco moco, mahi mahi, katsu, masubi, teryaki.. all reasonably priced with generous portions. They also have salads, a legit bakery, bubble tea and dole whip. We stopped by for lunch after a day at the beach, ordered the katsu moco, mahi wrap, teryaki chicken (for the kid) and a coconut bubble tea. I also picked up some salads and baked goods for later. It was exactly what we wanted and needed. Order and pick up your food inside, find a table outside and enjoy the view and the breeze. This is now one of my favorite food stops on Maui. read more

We totally enjoyed looking through this huge store for quite a while. We ended up ordering an açai bowl, two homemade muffins, and both of us had coffee. Everything weOrdered was excellent but the highlight of this place is wandering around and finding jams to take home. I suggest taking a Plumaria stem home which they sell there for 699$. I have been lucky enough to visit Maui three times. Our favorite hotel is the Ritz-Carlton and a big factor of why we love it so much is the Honolua Store. We love to go there for coffee/breakfast in the morning and sit out on the lanai and enjoy the view. It's also a great place to buy snacks, souvenirs, etc. The service is always friendly.
